I think Men in Black 2 deserves to be on this list. I mean the first one ended in a way that was deliberately meant to make the first MIB the only one. But it made too much money so they decided to make a sequel, filled gags ripped of from the first movie and a retarded plot to "Deneuralize" K, and all around stupid ***** (Ballchinians?)

Funnily enough, the second sequel, "The Exorcist III", was a surprisingly good horror film, with a few genuinely scary scenes. - OfoarHeffinsake, on 11/11/2009, -1/+9The first one wasn't so bad it was funny, the first one is one of the greatest parodies of a terrible book (Starship Troopers, AKA: Let Robert Heinlein yell at you about his love of corporal punishment and fascisms for a few hundred pages) ever made. If you watch Starship Troopers and realize that it's all one big parody about the glorification of military life, you will see that it's one of the greatest movies of all time.

When a couple of unknowns make one of the most profitable (as ratio of expenses) movies in the history of film itself, a studio would be insane NOT to give them a modest budget and see what they can do with it. If you remember when the first Blair Witch was released, there was actually a lot of buzz about "seeing what these young filmmakers can do next."
