- ator1, on 11/10/2009, -0/+113It's gonna be a bitch to pirate.
- Bondheli, on 11/10/2009, -2/+67"It has been filmed by Gerard Courant, who wanted to capture the thoughts of his artistic friends.
For three minutes and 25 seconds, they can do exactly as they please in front of the camera."
Otherwise known as youtube - TheyCMeTrollin, on 11/10/2009, -7/+64no one is going to bother pirating what is surely to be a 150 hour pseudo artsy, pretentious wank fest
- iheartbakon, on 11/10/2009, -0/+44Can't wait for the unedited director's cut.
- bated321, on 11/10/2009, -3/+26Long for the sake of being long, pretentious for the sake of being "art".
- inactive, on 11/10/2009, -0/+22Man you have a serious case of ADD or something...
- cloneenolc, on 11/09/2009, -3/+20I am all for art, but if I can't watch a movie within a whole days sitting... I am not viewing it.
- tenbosch, on 11/10/2009, -1/+17Actually, this is quite stupid. Technically, any sitcom or mini-series could be a150hr+ movie. There are soap operas that have been ongoing for decades. Why does this have to be such a big deal. In fact, all it is is a bunch of 3+ minute clips of this dudes friends...The crazy thing, is that people are actually going to sit through this.
- pimpofpixels, on 11/10/2009, -0/+16Note to filmmaker... editing improved films.
- inactive, on 11/10/2009, -2/+17Cure for insomnia.
- fluidfoundation, on 11/10/2009, -1/+11Take that, RunPee!!!
- TheBifman, on 11/10/2009, -0/+8Yeah, no-offense but your non-theater viewing habits sound pretty dumb
- pLuhhmm, on 11/10/2009, -0/+8lol @ downloading this.
- counterplex, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7Yes but imagine the "prestige" in having it. C'mon! You can't pass that up! Load up the drobo, here it comes!
- OdinThor, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7While the film is riveting in several scenes, it drags in parts and is at least half an hour too long.
- Pixelante, on 11/10/2009, -1/+7Sit? I was lying down and trying hard not to be killed by jap bullets and bombs.
- Homerr, on 11/10/2009, -2/+8TLDNW
- mothy, on 11/10/2009, -0/+6If the camera is held still for long periods of time, there will be lots of redundant data, resulting in a very small filesize if the encoder is smart about it...
- enclaved, on 11/10/2009, -0/+6it would take ten 22 episode seasons of 42 minute programming to equal 150 hours. so any half hour sitcom would have to be running for 20 years, like the simpsons and considering mini series are called mini, i doubt 5 days of 2 hours equals anywhere near 150 hours, but someone should check the math for me.
- aquapete, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4it would take a 9-5 job with an hour lunch break for a month (staying a little later for a few days) just to finish this.
- gridbread, on 11/10/2009, -1/+5Extended LoTR has nothing on this.
- lostradamus, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4**Spoiler Alert**
All the good stuff happens in the last 3 minutes. - taox, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Seed plz!
- whytey, on 11/10/2009, -1/+4How many Blu-Rays for this?
lol - djnikadeemas, on 11/10/2009, -1/+4Make it a Netflix week!
- abstracthuman, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3I am all for art, but if I can't watch a movie within a whole days sitting, I will check out what the internet has to say about it, then decide whether I want to devote 6 days of my life to watching it. But most likely I'm not viewing it.
- TheAbsintheHare, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Assuming DVD quality video (4Mbps bitrate) and double sided BluRay discs (50GB), then 6 discs.
- ClarkWells, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3I knew someone was going to point this out...
But, Six Hundred And Thirty Seven Point Five Gigabytes, just sounded to good. - firezflight, on 11/10/2009, -2/+5I couldn't sit through Pearl Harbor.
- fuzzynyanko, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Man, if this film was bad, a reviewer that was paid to watch it would have to watch the equivalent of 75 Uwe Boll films end to end. The Geneva Convention must have something against that.
- ClarkWells, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3hahahha... My thoughts exactly. The average 2 hour 1080p mkv is around 8.5gb... At that rate we are looking at 637.5gb for this one.... Time to buy another external.
- Boogalou007, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Dumb...
- goobly, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2The longest film ever should have been Lord of the Rings. Dude, if they included ever scene and piece of dialogue from the books, it would have been so much better.
- fecalfart, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2tl;dw
- raydeen, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2I'll wait for the book.
- UNC0MM0NSense, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2its not a film, its called a tv-show
- shanealeslie, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Imagine waiting for it to load...
- buzaman, on 11/10/2009, -0/+21455 GB Torrent
- peestandingup, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2I hope they make all the seats into toilet/recliners (like in Idiocracy).
- gangavalli, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1how many shows and for how many days for one movie? Looks like a daily serial to me.
- glockman69, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2I can't even stay awake for a regular length movie never mind this!
- sputnikv, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1so, how much is the price of admission then, €500?
- strongsad, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1This would be the equivalent of watching all the episodes of The Young and the Restless at one time. They could have saved some investment capital and made it a series.
- Jeff901, on 11/10/2009, -2/+3I thought that Casino, The Godfather and Gone with the Wind were long!
- shanealeslie, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I'm a DVD Author and I shudder at the thought of having to encode, pick the chapters, grab chapter thumbnails, design the chapter menus (like, >100 probably), program all the links and then Q.C. something like this.
- RagManX, on 11/10/2009, -2/+3Yes I do. Drives my wife batty. I've learned to deal with it somewhat,, and do well enough professionally coping, but it's a bother to a large portion of my friends and family at times.
- OUChevelleSS, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Eff that.
- RagManX, on 11/10/2009, -6/+7Given my customary non-theater viewing habits of watching 15-30 minutes at a time and then putting away movies for days or weeks, I expect I'll not be able to finish this movie before I die. I'm betting that a fan-edit version will come along that's only 4-6 hours and better than the original.
- fuzzynyanko, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Or wait for the "Phantom Cut" version where they take out Jar Jar
- Punisher2K, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Realtime recording of Vanilla Ice's career
