IMHO, they need a few key things to make this Not Suck:
1. Blatant drug abuse, both the pain killers as you mentioned, and in the villians
2. Tons of violent shoot-outs in bullet time with stuff flying everywhere
3. Allusions to the dead family story (I think I heard this was supposed to be post-Max Payne 2, plot-wise, which would make showing the death redundant, and really, like the Joker's back story, it isn't needed)
4. Super-serious, super-cool film noir narration

- Jektal, on 08/21/2008, -0/+3Every "plot summary" bit of copy I've read has mentioned fighting unnatural beings, and these two onesheets clearly play up the angelic angel (the angel wings created by the lit bridge arches in the first, and the angel wings in Max's shadow in the second.)

However, it feels like everything I feared from the beginning might come true; they overdo Max Payne into *****, making him depressed in a way that doesn't feel dark and understandable like in the game, but just stupid and made up. Also, regarding the choice of actor when it comes to who's fit to play Max Payne; what the *****.
