- mattxb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+94the first rule of fight club is hulk no like talk about fight club
- tatltat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+78Finally I get to see the Hulk curb-stomp someone!
- Asianwaste, on 10/12/2007, -3/+74I've always thought the tagline for the first movie should have been: "Don't make me Ang Lee, they won't like me if you make me Ang Lee."
- philomatic, on 02/08/2009, -0/+63Can we keep Jennifer Connelly in the movie? :D
- Margh, on 10/12/2007, -3/+61Don't make me corporate, you wouldn't like me when I'm corporate.
- weakinduhknees, on 10/12/2007, -1/+47I am Jack's hulk smash.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+47So...
Tyler Durden = The Hulk?
What's with all of Edward Norton's characters having split personalities? - doswarrior, on 10/12/2007, -4/+34...as long as Michael Bay isn't directing it!
- cvrefugee, on 10/12/2007, -6/+33Norton the actor and Norton the anti-virus?
- Yonson, on 10/12/2007, -2/+29Edward Norton is one of the most talented actors working today. I don't really see him as a "Hulk" type, but I think he can pull it off.
- fudgeigor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28At least we know he can pull off dual personalities.
- iamdegenatron, on 10/12/2007, -2/+28I cant believe Norton is stooping to this level. This movie better be mind bendingly awesome
- kindrobot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25So how's that working out for you?
- trer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24They're gonna need to CG the hell out of this one to make Ed Norton look like the Hulk.
- gopher043, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Edward Norton is playing Dr. Banner (which I can totally see). The Hulk will probably be played by a computer.
- fudgeigor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18There wouldn't be much left to see...
- Jesse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Yeah, Edward Norton's a fine actor but 80% of what makes a movie great is the director, producers, and most importantly, the writers.
- maexus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+18Dugg for Norton.
- ts8lemonade, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Awesome, he did an amazing job in Fight Club.
- Agent_M, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18Am I the only person who enjoyed the previous Hulk movie?
- jer2eydevil88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12YES! YES! YES!
If you are a fan of Death to Smootchy or any of his other oddball dark movies then this should excite you as well! - Walker2323, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Yep
- Charlesbian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Him and Christian Bale are on the top of my list for the most versatile, talented actors alive. If he approved of the script, lets hope it turns out good
- truthagenda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10He is an incredible actor. This better be written well.
- buddha1822, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Hahaha, thankfully he's on Prince of Persia instead...
- jspegele, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I like this a lot, Edward Norton is awesome in every movie he does; but lets not put the blame for the last movie on Eric Bana. Eric Bana is a great actor (see Munich). Ang Lee should get the blame for that one.
- Charron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10@toxicredm
His name is Robert Paulson.
His name is Robert Paulson.
His name is Robert Paulson. - subtle, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11I'm not sure that I necessarily believe something that reads as if it was written by a teenager. Besides, the last Hulk movie was great. But if it's true, Ed will be awesome as he always is.
- rompom7, on 10/12/2007, -7/+14I like Ed Norton, but Eric Bana playing Bruce Banner will be hard to top.
- Shipley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7completely new. universals rights to Hulk reverted back to marvel recently so they've fast tracked a new movie themselves that more matches what they want for hulk. Same goes for Iron Man, they're cutting out the studios they don't trust to handle their characters. We got real lucky with X-men and Spiderman, but Elektra, Punisher, and Ghost Rider prove Marvel's books out of their hands can turn into disasters.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10...that was the gayest comment ever, TomK.
- AceTracer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6They're remaking movies that came out 4 years ago? Wow.
- Squigly, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10Double yep
- ringo380, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Well, whatever Norton edited obviously worked, because American History X was great. Screw Tony Kaye.
- Holyfool19, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9I will make enemies with this post, but here goes.
I actually really liked "Hulk" by Ang Lee, it had a few weaknesses, the biggest one being the script (it was too similar to the Hulk comic books, Hulk comics suck balls) but Eric Bana and Jennifer Connely totally saved it for me however. I think Eric Bana is one of the best young actors we have right now.
As far as Edward Norton is concerned, I'm glad, he certainly has the potential to breathe new life into the franchise. I just hope that this time they make sure they have a good story to tell, and tell it in less than 2 hours, and dont have huge mutant dogs anywhere in the film. - kidd3ckz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9whatever pedo
- spencersands, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I wonder if they'll do it like a big green smoochie outfit.
- jodokast, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@TomK
The Hulk was a skinhead?
Oh....right. - knightblade2oo4, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9Who doesn't love Edward Norton?
- reevolutn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5american history x, great movie. i see what you mean
- 1807, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I am really sad to see Edward Norton playing the Hulk. While I'll be the first to agree he's a great actor and can probably pull off the "science geek with anger issues" role, are you telling me I am going to have to see everything I saw in the first hulk movie all over again? I know it's in fashion to recycle movie ideas these days but I really have no desire to see the first hulk movie's plot done again.
- gopher043, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4the only thing the Ang Lee Hulk had going for it was Jennifer Connelly and that's it.
- GRTWHT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@holyfool19
PLEASE let me forget X-men 3! Way to completely destory a trilogy there folks. - Woolmonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Its Bruce Banner they changed the name in the TV show to David cause the producers/Network thought that Bruce sounded to Gay.
- mutatron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Bill Bixby had a sweet, gentle quality that heightened the contrast between himself and his alter ego. Norton's a good actor, maybe he can pull that off.
But am I the only one who liked Ang Lee's movie? - edzieba, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The last movie had pretty explosions. That's pretty much all it had going for it.
- nickbender, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2because... u know... variety is never wrong.
/eyeroll - Galaeron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I am Jack's fuming rage.
- W00DR0W, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@buddha
Well a there are a lot of creative limits to what you can do with a hero who turns into an out of control monster of destruction, so you can't expect anything epic there.
The Prince of Persia on the other hand had much greater potential. Emphasis on (had). -
