- Bukowsky, on 01/06/2009, -3/+64I saw the Dark Knight at the IMAX.. It was *****' sweet!
- bixby1, on 01/06/2009, -1/+42Monsters vs. Aliens. Why not? I'll see anything when i'm on drugs.
- Ac1dburn, on 01/06/2009, -1/+31I can't wait to see Watchmen in IMAX
- ScubaSt3ve, on 01/07/2009, -7/+23IMAX...whatever - just sit on first row and you'll get IMAX every singly time

Say's it all really. I don't know about you but I like to see the whole movie not just part of the screen. - ObiNguyen, on 01/07/2009, -2/+16Avatar, definitely.
- stufflebean, on 01/07/2009, -1/+13I saw Batman Begins in IMAX and I actually thought it was too big. There are a few shaky-cam fight scenes which, while they didn't make me nauseated or anything, were just too hard to follow. I was in the middle of the theater too, not right down in front. I think films with a slower pace lend themselves better to the IMAX format, since you have time to take in everything on the massive screen.
- inactive, on 01/07/2009, -0/+10I wish they'd start filming entire movies in IMAX.
- andrewlotta, on 01/07/2009, -1/+10I really hope it lives up to the hype.
If it does, I predict it will beat TDK's box office numbers (definitely in the top 5). Without a doubt it will be the biggest film of the decade. - veriix, on 01/07/2009, -0/+9Like a film telling the story of sexy teens getting locked in the IMAX?
the IMAX is haunted and the black guy dies (spoiler) - trispear, on 01/07/2009, -0/+9I saw Dark Knight Imax in summer and then in a normal theatre. The second time was such a let-down. This movie is made for Imax. Forget the DVD, and watch it how it's meant to be seen when it gets re-released while there is still a chance.
- shlemielo, on 01/07/2009, -1/+10I found the fight scenes hard to follow even on a regular screen. That's just how Nolan chooses to direct his action.
- fubar109, on 01/07/2009, -1/+10LOUD NOISES!
- inactive, on 01/07/2009, -1/+9It's the latest film trend. It's easier to shake and pan the camera around than it is to properly choreograph a fight scene or car chase. In 20 years it will probably be laughed at, as audiences wise up.
- MindTrigger, on 01/07/2009, -1/+8I don't know.... I love IMAX and all, but sometimes watching movies where you have to turn your head left and then right to see each eye on someone's head kinda sucks. There are times when the bigscreen hdtv + blu-ray release is worth waiting for.
- xaxxon, on 01/07/2009, -0/+6It's made in Germany. You know Germans always make good stuff.
- souljaboytellem, on 01/07/2009, -1/+7Sham-Wow!!
- webgrafix12, on 01/06/2009, -4/+10Dark Knight in IMAX!!! Wow!!!
- andrewlotta, on 01/07/2009, -0/+5When was the last time James Cameron released a film?
Oh yeah, in 1997 (twelve years ago if you can't subtract), and it was the highest grossing film of all time. - inactive, on 01/07/2009, -1/+6Jim Carrey is awesome
- tyler0is0sexy, on 01/07/2009, -0/+5Digg meet up?
- dunmasterkane, on 01/07/2009, -0/+5Wait... doesn't digg allow 5 minutes for post editing? Why did you post twice?
- steger, on 01/07/2009, -2/+7BAM!
- TomTruelle, on 01/07/2009, -3/+7KAZOW!!!
- nerdsftw, on 01/06/2009, -1/+5I saw it once in at IMAX -- it was totally packed on a Sunday night after being out for weeks. I want to see it at least once more. It was stunning.
- TomTruelle, on 01/07/2009, -3/+7Incredible!!!
- Elranzer, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4You see the whole screen... if it was shot with special IMAX film. If it was shot in regular 35mm, then a standard theater will show the whole film.
People seem to forget that IMAX is not just a bigger screen, but its own (proprietary) film format. - elister, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4Yeah, lets hope this has any of the class of Aliens or Terminator.
- seldon452, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4Yeah, Jons massive blue balls are gonna be awesome...
- TomTruelle, on 01/07/2009, -3/+7Awesome!!!!
- Elranzer, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4The Dark Knight - Already saw it
Under the Sea IMAX 3D - Sure, maybe
Watchmen - Definitely
Monsters vs. Aliens IMAX 3D - Probably not
Star Trek - Ugh, hell no
Night at the Museum 2 - Hell no
Transformers 2 - Shia LeBouf = Automatic No
Harry Potter 6 - Maybe wait for the Blu-Ray
Avatar - Definitely - syntaxgs, on 01/07/2009, -1/+5i mean knight,,, -,-;;;
- dagamer34, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4I'd really like to see an entire movie in IMAX, but it'd cost WAY too much. It's a shame too.
- MavRevMatt, on 01/07/2009, -1/+4Use the ***** reply button next time. Your comment makes no sense.
- h4ppydotcom, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3Google is your friend
- andrewlotta, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3Except it's been in production for 19 years, James Cameron's name is attached to it (he wrote, produced, and directed it), and he is using filming effects and techniques never before used to make a movie, no film has been in post-production longer, and James Horner is scoring the film.
Come on now. This just may be the biggest sci-fi film ever. - Skishy101, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3What? Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen came out June 26, 2008!?! I missed it? This is an outrage!
- plague, on 01/07/2009, -1/+4Read the graphic novel, you won't be disappointed.
- antdude, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3Too bad not the whole movie isn't in IMAX. Only some scenes.
- madcaps1980, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3Dark Knight was great in IMAX but 300 in IMAX was amazing.
- xaxxon, on 01/07/2009, -3/+5You don't even know if it sucks.
- Stikes, on 01/07/2009, -3/+5Is it just me or do IMAX movies look like crap because of the resolution vs screen size? Last one I went to looked like they stretched out a regular projector over too big of a screen and let Michael J Fox hold it.
- souljaboytellem, on 01/07/2009, -1/+3Yes, I also give generic comments
- inactive, on 01/07/2009, -1/+3I wish someone would actually tell me what the ***** watchmen is about. the trailer looked sweet but i have no ***** idea what the movie is about
- EatChex89, on 01/07/2009, -0/+2I saw the preview for it when I saw "The Day the Earth Stood Still" in IMAX and I can't wait to watch it either . . . . in IMAX!
- avatar28, on 01/07/2009, -0/+2I am seriously surprised that there hasn't been some sort of digital IMAX format released yet. I doubt the camera equipment would be all that much more expensive than a regular IMAX camera (projectors would be astronomical though) and I would fully expect that it would be easier and cheaper to shoot more footage at a time than is possible with a standard IMAX camera. If IMAX really wants to push their format for normal movies, that is what they need to do. IMAX is to normal cinema film as Blu Ray is to DVD.
- CLTchey, on 01/07/2009, -0/+2I like Potter...
- dandonia, on 01/08/2009, -0/+2MRinthekeys
I suppose you wouldn't be that bothered if someone covered a few inches of your screen at each side - at least you can see the main bit in the middle right? ***** that man, I want to see the lot - the way the developer shot the movie not the way my local cinema can be bothered to display it.
It made me laugh in the cinema when that advert for piracy came on and it showed how you often get part of the image cut off - then it opened with the clown scene where half of the image is cut off compared to imax. - latingirl, on 01/07/2009, -0/+2I for one can't wait until Watchmen comes out on IMAX. I just hope the release is not delayed.
