- nrose101, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1I am a huge fan of the first Mummy film. #2 was a bit of a let down (but still okay), and the spin-off the scorpion king was horrible. I was exciting when this was first announced, but not so sure anymore, Brendan Fraser is definitely back as Rick, however the special effects look pretty terrible (hopefully they will clean up before the release) and Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh, don't have the same presence as their counterparts did in #1,2....Here is hoping I am wrong.
- Dorian822, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1The Mummy franchise has been one that seems to be comparable to the old Universal horror films: just for thrills and fun. The third seems to carry that torch rather well and looks like a good popcorn-action flick to me, hope I'm right.
