- squishee, on 02/21/2008, -4/+88Even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up to see the Arrested Development movie.
- neio, on 02/21/2008, -2/+78Arrested Development, man I hope this movie get made.
- FarmPunk, on 02/21/2008, -4/+76Dugg for "The Brazilian Job" (title alone!)
- badjoke, on 02/21/2008, -2/+56Coxblocker - 0%. Excellent work, guys.
- WileyK, on 02/21/2008, -2/+48Wait, did they start the Halo movie back up?
Also, ***** Yeah Sin City - cnicodemus, on 02/21/2008, -1/+37Christian Bale will pump you up!
- bry512, on 02/21/2008, -0/+33where the wild things are - hells yes.
- starfisch, on 02/21/2008, -2/+35Friday The 13th? Really?
- jmanlasman, on 02/21/2008, -0/+32I really can't wait for Inglorious Bastards! All the elements of this film make it seem like it will be beyond awesome.
- Silv23, on 02/21/2008, -0/+32Some of these have not even been green lit yet, let alone gone into production.
- chubbybubba, on 02/21/2008, -0/+29I'm really curious how Heath's role in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) is going to work out.
- InfinitySnatch, on 02/21/2008, -1/+27Who's going to watch the Watchmen?
- bry512, on 02/21/2008, -0/+22isn't XFiles a 2008 Release?
- dwninjungleland, on 02/21/2008, -0/+22I don't know about YOU guys, but I'm pumped for Land Before Time XXI!!!
- Cpd4224, on 02/21/2008, -1/+23I second the "Watchmen" question, cmon, that should be at the top of everyones list. Same graphic novelist who did V for Vendetta and same director as 300. its going to be entertaining to say the least
- Hobbes24, on 02/21/2008, -1/+23oh man...and terminator with christian bale?
...i think i need to change my pants - mbonzo531, on 02/21/2008, -0/+21I was going to vote for Coxblocker but I accidentally voted for Pat Buchanan
- cinefreak7, on 02/21/2008, -0/+19This list sucks. Halo is at a stand-still. Who knows if we'll see it at all, let alone in 2009. Brave New World? That's straight-to-video, at best. Coxblocker? Besides having the worst title ever, I'm ashamed of anyone who'd put this on a most-anticipated list that manages to leave off Watchmen, Where the Wild Things Are, The Hobbit, and Avatar, all of which have filmed, are filming, or have at least been green-lit (in the case of The Hobbit). Maybe they should get someone with some knowledge of the film industry to write this article next time?
- Pritchard, on 02/21/2008, -0/+19That's not the site's fault, douchebag.
- InfinitySnatch, on 02/21/2008, -0/+18It's going to be like Equilibrium but with killer robots!
- petethepanda, on 02/21/2008, -7/+25Half of those rock, but GI Joe? Italian Job 2? Angels and Demons? Friday the 13th? Halo?
- Farceur318, on 02/21/2008, -0/+18Right now, I'm just anticipating The Dark Knight so much that by the time it comes out, my anticipation fuse will be blown and I'll never care about another movie coming out ever again.
Also, where the bloody hell is Watchmen? How is something called Coxblocker more anticipated than the next Alan Moore bastardization? - beammeup4, on 02/21/2008, -1/+15what? A list from Co-ed magazine and not one mention of Star Trek?
- inactive, on 02/21/2008, -1/+15I had no idea any of those movies were promising.
- nitsnipe, on 02/21/2008, -3/+17Still can't decide between The Brazilian Job and Coxblocker.
I swear I'm not making this up, both movies are on the list. - 25mL, on 02/21/2008, -0/+13The Origin of Wolverine will be the film I look forward to in 2009, but for 2008, it's Batman: The Dark Knight.
- McMaster88, on 02/21/2008, -4/+17CLOVER FIELD 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's still alive! - badjoke, on 02/21/2008, -1/+12You're thinking of "The Brazilian Wax."
- Farceur318, on 02/21/2008, -2/+13Let the AD quote frenzy begin.
"I'll buy you a hundred George Michaels that you can teach to drive!"
"You're losing blood, aren't you."
"Probably. My sock's wet." - JBmtk, on 02/21/2008, -0/+11Q: IMDB.com says the movie will be released in 2009, is that true?
A: No, this is purely a guess. The movie is not even shooting yet, but Microsoft is actively looking for distributer.
from: http://www.halothemovie.org/ - VelvetoneFusion, on 02/21/2008, -0/+11This was a triumph.
..Oh, is this not....sorry, its like a reaction now. - bawpcwpn, on 02/21/2008, -0/+10How does Pixar's Up not make this list?
A coming-of-old-age story about a seventy-something guy who lives in a house that "looks like your grandparents' house smelled." He befriends a clueless young Wilderness Ranger and gets into lots of alter kocker altercations. Says Pixar: "Our hero travels the globe, fights beasts and villains and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon."
That and the fact that this movie is from Pixar, it is basically set up for success. - Tyrghast, on 02/21/2008, -2/+12Christian Bale. Hell yes.
- colto, on 02/21/2008, -0/+10Someone has a man crush...
- Tanker940, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10I was expecting a 1984 movie.
- skin, on 02/21/2008, -3/+12There's no way Spiderman 4 or Halo is coming in 2009
- ncairns, on 02/21/2008, -0/+9Whoops - yes it is. Sweet.
- DaviDTC, on 02/21/2008, -0/+92010 = super troopers 2
- VoteForDummies, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10Sounds like a rip-off of The Dirty Dozen, but I won't judge it too quickly. It's still a long ways away, and not much information is available yet.
- didiman, on 02/21/2008, -2/+10Are you kidding?
- N3k74r, on 02/21/2008, -2/+10Playboy? Friday the 13th remake? Coxblocker?
This list is terrible, not a surprise for Digg. - jc7012, on 02/21/2008, -1/+9The AD movie better not be a trick...er...illusion.
- Pzycho, on 02/21/2008, -2/+10The huge missing title is James Cameron's 3D space epic "Avatar"
- inactive, on 02/21/2008, -0/+8teh spoilarz!!!!!!!!!!!1
- Tony611, on 02/21/2008, -1/+9HUZZAH!
- z3nbrain, on 02/21/2008, -0/+7"Oh, that's great. The guy who's dirty dancing with his niece is telling the guy in the $3,600 suit... how to... run the business...
come on!" - DarkStalker, on 02/21/2008, -0/+7It's the site and submitter's fault for your work being extremely anal about what they allow and what they block? Wow, makes a lot of sense.
- inactive, on 02/21/2008, -1/+8which half rocks, the half that they didn;t mention?
- JonesJohnson, on 02/21/2008, -0/+7"It's a fire! ... sale."
