- soupdawg30, on 06/06/2008, -2/+35Glad to hear it's getting good reviews. After Iron Man I have high expectations for any future Marvel Productions.
- Changa, on 06/06/2008, -9/+37I don't know... The first one sucked enough for 2 movies.
It's going to have to be ***** amazing to wash the taste of the first out out. - inactive, on 06/06/2008, -0/+18Spoiler Alert:Hulk is Green.
- AshamedAmerican, on 06/06/2008, -1/+12Doesn't really matter since Hulk is gonna get smashed by a dead clown in about a month.
- drlha, on 06/06/2008, -0/+9Your opinion might be worth ***** if you hadn't mentioned "Transformers" as an example of a good movie. Iron Man is so much better than Transformers its untrue, because it actually had character development and dialog, as opposed to just being CGI robots smashing into each other for 2 hours + Shia Le-*****-Beouf.
- deanosaur, on 06/06/2008, -1/+10Yet us hope that you yearn the Engyish yanguage.
- KEEPTHEFAITH, on 06/06/2008, -3/+12It's nice to see that the Hulk in this movie doesn't look like a huge Flubber.
- endlessoul, on 06/06/2008, -0/+7I'll go on record as saying that there was nothing I didn't like about Iron Man. To date, it's the best movie of 2008.
- jks139, on 06/06/2008, -21/+28Yet us hope that these aren't the same reviewers that praised the latest Indiana Jones flick.
- rtoo, on 06/06/2008, -6/+13You're high, Ang Lee's version was actually quite good.
- SirFoxx, on 06/06/2008, -1/+8Transformers? Really?
- TrevorBelmont, on 06/06/2008, -2/+9If The Human Burrito says it's good, that's good enough for me!
- quakeIII, on 06/06/2008, -1/+7I miss Bill Bixby telling Mr. McGee to ***** off.
- Greengoo, on 06/06/2008, -1/+6Am I the only person who really enjoyed it?
- afx1, on 06/06/2008, -0/+5you're not the only one
http://tinyurl.com/6e7u29 - Greengoo, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4Enter: Edward Norton.
- ozziek, on 06/06/2008, -1/+5Really? How was it so bad?
- ho0ber, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4WTF?
- umbriago, on 06/06/2008, -6/+10Early reviews on Transformers were just as glowing, but that movie proved to be a smelly ass of a film.
- TrevorBelmont, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4Sir, please explain what motivates you day after day to do this. I offer the spotlight you so desperately seek. What is going through your head? What is it you hope to accomplish?
- pootpoot, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4The thing is... AICN always gives an uber enthusiastic review of EVERY film. I'll wait for reviews by actual movie critics... not comic book fans who happen to review a movie.
- 4ster, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4I dug you even though you're an ass
- cheeseron, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4OH, in that case
- dalittle, on 06/06/2008, -1/+5You forgot close up robots smashing into each other so you cannot actually see what the hell is going on. Transformers blew chunks.
- psbpv3o, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3It's a totally separate movie. They're ignoring the first.
- stevealford, on 06/06/2008, -2/+5He said EXCLUDING Hancock, not including. He's saying that Hancock will not be a good superhero movie, which leaves us with three others: The Dark Knight, Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk. I hope that cleared up any confusion.
- cl2yp71c, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3*****.
You ruined it for me. - inactive, on 06/06/2008, -1/+4Christian Bale's and Michael Keaton's Batman movies are up there with Iron Man. The others you listed were, at best, fun rides barely worth seeing before the DVD came out.
- bjs3171, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3i'd say Iron Man was far better than any of the Spider-Man movies. They were good, but the dialogue was pretty cheesy in all of them. Infact, I'd say, aside from the latest Bat Man movies, and Sin City, Iron Man was the best comic movie since X2 (my favorite of the x-mens)
- levelred, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3upped for acknowledging i have a problem
- krypton70, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3maybe learn how to spell "their" and I'll take advice from you about using "my brain."
- psbpv3o, on 06/06/2008, -1/+4It looks like we are going to be staying till the end of the credits for another awesome sneak peak, for Captain America!!!! The way they seem to be bringing these movies together into one epic Avenger movie is amazing. GO MARVEL!!!
- helooksmortal, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3Yet yus yope yat you yearn yhe yngryish yanguayge.
- Cerebron, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3Possibility and necessity are inexorably linked in a twisty little paradox. If you focus on either too much, and neglect the other, you are in despair.
- MRintheKeys, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Yeah, ***** the guys that bust their asses making money with comics. /sarcasm
- Rekbert, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2Hello? Oh hey... no, I'm not going to see that ***** Hulk movie with you guys, I'm staying home to create the next great INTERNET SENSATION.
- landosystem, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2With Marvel in charge of their properties for the first time ever, they knocked it out of the park with Iron Man, and if Hulk is half as good as Iron Man, we are in for some awesome summer series to come!
- dave122, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3no *****, transformers was fun and cool, but it sure as hell wasn't good.
- drlha, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2The Dark Knight also - or does Batman not classify as a "superhero"?
- kmiller2087, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2totally agreed. if anyone can make the hulk badass again, its edward norton.
- NeoCortex, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3I also hear that you wouldn't like him when he's angry.
- Coopjust, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2I did. The first movie got a lot of criticism for not giving the Transformers enough face time. But that was kind of necessary; in order to give the robots more face time, they'd have to do it at expense of the plot.
Now that all of the back story is setup, I'd expect a lot more time with the robots in Transformers 2. People working on the film have said the same...and they'll probably allocate a bigger budget for the sequel, which will mean more $ to be spent on talent for the CGI. - fevredream, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Perhaps you haven't noticed, but movies, much like comic books, are a form of entertainment. Your silly diatribe about "creating the next great internet sensation" has about as much to do with the validity of comic book movies as an owl does with a bungee cord. Hope the Jack Daniels in your name helps you drown the sorrow of your imagination-less existence, friend.
- Greengoo, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3IT was a scary movie... when I was 7.
- bjs3171, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2i saw it opening weekend before reading any reviews, and i thought it was great. probably wouldn't have been as good if it weren't for Downey Jr, but he rocked that film.
- Deanblackoak, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Yeah... it was.
- soupdawg30, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2I second that.
- ozziek, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2A perfect diagnosis and resolution
- kaplanfx, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2No, the OP is being sensationalist. I think Transformers was a very enjoyable film and even had a decent story (considering it was all based of a fantastic but far fetched cartoon).
- Apocalyptic0n3, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Why is this guy getting dugg up? Does no one realize that this movie has absolute nothing at all to do with the Eric Bana release? This is a completely separate movie. Has nothing at all to do with the other one. Do you associate Christian Bale with Clooney, Keaton, or Kilmer? No? So why the hell is Norton being associated with Bana in any way at all? Norton doesn't know how to make a bad movie, something Bana seems to have been doing for years.
