- door0122, on 02/09/2008, -0/+31Just cuirous, but when did Back to the Future take place in "Outer Space"?
- evan119, on 02/09/2008, -3/+32Dugg for "explodiest."

mofos always forget Serenity. - FellOffACliff, on 02/09/2008, -3/+17Hayden Christensen should never act in another movie ever again.
- siphre, on 02/09/2008, -1/+11Inaccurate. Back to the Future and the Matrix were not in outer space. Also, explodiest?
- ahvi, on 02/09/2008, -0/+10Why aren't there seatbelts on the starship Enterprise?
- inactive, on 02/09/2008, -1/+10Buried for misleadingiest title ever. Back to the Future did not take place in "outer space".
- goingtoalpha, on 02/09/2008, -0/+8What about the wave of attacks in Starship Troopers? With all the ships exploding and crashing into each other and breaking apart? THAT was badass.
- MarkDykeman, on 02/09/2008, -1/+8I can't remember, did the Pegasus make a big boom when destroyed in BSG? They seem to be pretty good about honoring the "vacuum" of space: except for the machine gun effects....
- elementfire, on 02/09/2008, -0/+6Jumper.
- magusg, on 02/09/2008, -0/+4Jeez, I figured they'd have some BSG in there. In Season 3 Episode 4 "Exodus Pt 2" when the Battlestar Peagasus crashes into a cylon base star, it's just freakin awesome. I guess the crash in Serenity doesn't count since it was actually on a planet.
- ericdano, on 02/09/2008, -0/+4Hardly a good list at all. There are a TON of movies left out.
- Hinducow28, on 02/09/2008, -2/+5I can't believe that Serenity isn't in there.
- azizrulez, on 02/09/2008, -0/+3"explodiest"
didnt know that was a word...? - trogdor282, on 02/09/2008, -1/+3The Enterprise-E does I believe.
- dalittle, on 02/09/2008, -1/+3There is no sound in space. My roommate told me that and it has ruined every good space explosion since.
- CLYF, on 02/09/2008, -4/+6Dugg for "explodiest."
Seconded. (Dang! you beat me to it!) :( - thebellmaster1x, on 02/09/2008, -0/+2Exactly what I was thinking. The man pulls them out of a dead spin and crash lands into a hangar with nobody harmed! (Well, until... :( ) That gets nothing?
- meshman, on 02/09/2008, -1/+3"Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith:"
I guess being remotely believable at all wasn't part of the criteria.
"Armageddon: "
Oh don't insult my intelligence. - ericdano, on 02/09/2008, -0/+2Funny, his "list" has many that are on a planet........
- inactive, on 02/09/2008, -0/+2Since 2001: A Space Odyseey.
- toast24, on 02/09/2008, -0/+2That was my thought too...Back to the Future should probably not be on this list.
- MarkDykeman, on 02/09/2008, -2/+3Wait, what about Space: 1999? They used the same explosion sounds over and over and over... and in every freaking episode!
But I do still love Space:1999. - sjbdallas, on 02/09/2008, -0/+1I don't remember a huge explosion. I seem to remember everything just falling to pieces while burning.
- Kieslar, on 02/09/2008, -0/+1Yeah, there was a pretty big boom:

- Amazetbm, on 02/09/2008, -0/+1The explosion wasn't that big but the aftermath was spectacular. Maybe they should do a list for TV as well.
- aaapples, on 02/09/2008, -1/+2Buried in defense of Hayden Christensen.
- twishart, on 02/09/2008, -0/+1I cried when the delorean got wrecked.
- jeffreyan12, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1after the enterprise-D(seen on site) i am sure they had to lol and installed a V chip in data
- dilibau, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1you simply suck...that's why I dugg you down
- callmeTroy, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1o.O pixar deleted it already due to copyright! that quick...
- zunkus, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1As for the Star Wars sequence...don't they demonstrate tractor beams at some point in the series? Wouldn't that pretty much make crashing anything impossible, I mean you could just slow the ship down with your beam and guide it down. Then again maybe the atmosphere makes the beams not work.
- dexedrine, on 02/10/2008, -1/+1I cried when I first saw the Enterprise crash on that planet. That was the coolest design yet at that point in the story.
- pppossibilities, on 02/09/2008, -1/+1buried for inaccurate title
- mzieg, on 02/10/2008, -1/+1Opening scene of Pitch Black was the all-time greatest crash sequence ever. Indisputable.
But the one in Men In Black made the best trailer fodder :-) - dilibau, on 02/09/2008, -2/+2buried for being a MrBabyGay submission...as always, a lame sub of course, but hey, he's got lots of friends on digg right?
- inactive, on 02/09/2008, -2/+2And the sad part is it actually looks like he does a good job in it.
- highstriker, on 02/09/2008, -3/+1Since when is science fiction supposed to be realistic?
- Ricochetbiscuit, on 02/09/2008, -10/+2dugg.. nice! Mr.B, check favs...
