- black|math, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I used to think Keaton was the best even after I saw "Begins". Until I watched it again. Keaton was way too hammy and cheesy, which is a great sandwich, but not a good Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne should be more like James Bond and less like Woody Allen.

- madcaps1980, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Of course some people are going to think that Keaton was the best Batman ever because he was the first (I know Adam West was technically the first but I'm talking movies here) just like Sean Connery being the best Bond (which is true) because he was number one but Christian Bale did a great job and I hope he does more, even though the whole time I was watching it I was waiting for Bruce Wayne to suddenly switch to Patrick Bateman and emerge with an axe and some tape player playing Huey Lewis and the news..hahaha..sorry American Psycho joke..anyways "Begins" totally wiped the floor with all of the previous movies and I can't wait to see what the future holds for the Batman saga.

there was a weird heroin chic look to him in that shot too... The butler explains everything moment. The dance.
what. in. christs. name. The horrible thing is that some of the worst moments in this film remind you of some of the best moments in the second. And god that sunrise ***** between the three of them at the end. Thats up there with matrix revolutions sunrise in terms of ***** codas. And then he has the temerity to echo the graveyard from the first film?

Batman is a funny franchise when it comes to films; easy to make mistakes: Michael Keaton, "Batman Returns", Nipples on Batsuits, "Batman & Robin" to name a few.
