- Xihix, on 09/07/2008, -4/+63I will bury you for whatever god damned reason I feel like!
- jggube, on 09/06/2008, -1/+58I loved that movie, hands down the best one in the whole Batman series.
- kefkaantakrist, on 09/07/2008, -1/+52On the same screen!
- Xihix, on 09/07/2008, -1/+49I'd see it on a yearly basis, especially if it was on IMAX. The experience is worth it.
- OrangeSoda31, on 09/07/2008, -5/+49at the same time!
- TheGreatBelow, on 09/07/2008, -6/+44I liked Batman Begins just as much as Dark Knight.
I say play both! - shauntacular, on 09/06/2008, -5/+34This is a good idea?
- ry4nsm1th, on 09/07/2008, -2/+29How about another magic trick?
- seastobble, on 09/07/2008, -2/+19contradicting much?
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -4/+17haha, that was a clever way to word your comment

I'm down. I'm buying it on blu-ray when it comes out, but even blu-ray on a 1080p television doesn't come close to IMAX. - xyllar, on 09/07/2008, -2/+14I'd definitely watch again it if it was in IMAX; I didn't get to see it in IMAX the first time.
- BlaqReaper, on 09/07/2008, -1/+11Graphically violent as in....a lot of punches and explosions? Let me introduce you to Sin City and SAW.
- electrolemon, on 09/07/2008, -1/+11Seasons don't fear the Dark Knight. Nor do the wind, or the sun, or the rain.
- t3hmyth, on 09/07/2008, -2/+11Well, there's nothing like the movie theater experience.
- Pinkshisno, on 09/07/2008, -1/+10Ew.
- t3hmyth, on 09/07/2008, -6/+15Yes.
- SmackMyMac, on 09/07/2008, -1/+10*Makes "Milking" noise
- ikayto, on 09/07/2008, -2/+10LIES!
*covers ears - gamingdude, on 09/07/2008, -1/+8You got to experience what some peoples hometheaters are capable of, huge amounts of dynamics and extremely low bass down to the infrasonic's and concert like mid bass punch to the chest with some amazing PQ. Most theater can't match them. Maybe in screen size but not in comfort and quality. You should check out the avs forum and the hometheater setup designed by mark seaton for Art Sonneborn
. =) - t3hmyth, on 09/07/2008, -2/+9I got a FEVER... And the only prescription... IS MORE THE DARK KNIGHT!
- theclaw1, on 09/07/2008, -1/+8I like the idea of occasionally re-running older movies. Some are simply far more enjoyable on the big screen than anywhere else.
- DOCKAUF55, on 09/07/2008, -3/+10No Harley needs to be as well acted as the joker. I suggest Helena Bohnam Carter (marla from fight club). I think she'd make it twisted.
- Vindexus, on 09/07/2008, -2/+9It wasn't very violent.
- mrm3x1can, on 09/07/2008, -1/+7I loved the comment, hands down on of the best in the comment thread.

- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -1/+7That would be great if it did come back. I missed seeing it in an Imax theatre, but everyone I've spoken to says that it was spectacular. Definitely would be great to see in iMax.
- iofthestorm, on 09/07/2008, -0/+6It was pretty good. It would be nice to have a chance to see it in IMAX but I don't know how many people would go to watch it every year. Incidentally, isn't that what DVDs/Blu-ray disks are for? Especially now with HDTVs, 5.1 surround sound speakers and Blu-ray disks, the reasons for going to the theater to watch this over and over again are much lower. But then again, IMAX is pretty different from a home theater setup.
- antdude, on 09/07/2008, -0/+6Too long? What's wrong with that?
- jakethelake, on 09/07/2008, -1/+6loooooool
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -2/+7Oh I see Dark Knight = Quantum Physics
- RaulMuadDib, on 09/07/2008, -0/+5Imax is the best.
- Vindexus, on 09/07/2008, -2/+7I didn't even notice.
- RaulMuadDib, on 09/07/2008, -1/+6*shrug*
- Xihix, on 09/07/2008, -1/+525 minutes? What the *****? What the hell kind of random number is that? The run time was just fine, dumbass.
- WhatsUpWithJack, on 09/07/2008, -0/+4I want to see it in IMAX again...
- ry4nsm1th, on 09/07/2008, -1/+4CHILL out man and get the character name right.
- CowboyBebop, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3I like the idea. I saw it for the fourth time and second time on IMAX this past Thursday here in San Francisco. It really is quite a different experience to see it on IMAX versus a traditional movie screen. I really hope film makers start filming stuff specifically for IMAX as Nolan did. This is one way that the movie theaters can compete with the home movie theater experience. Because there's no way you can currently replicate the IMAX experience in a traditional home.
- solidus636, on 09/07/2008, -1/+4Says the guy on digg.
- morphinapg, on 09/07/2008, -1/+4Blu-ray certainly beats audio and video quality of my local movie theaters. I doubt it would beat Imax, but I have yet to see TDK in imax.
As for the experience, the more people watching a movie with you the better, One of my best movie going experiences, although the movie was crappy, was watching Star Wars Episode 2 with thousands of fans at Star Wars Celebration 3. Also, midnight premieres are usually a really good experience as well. - andypop481, on 09/07/2008, -3/+6Maybe.
- darwinwins, on 09/07/2008, -1/+4how do you think theaters did it back before the land of VHS? it's not a new idea and time tested one. some of us are overseas and in places where there are no movie theaters and have missed the dark knight. we would like a chance to still see it in a theater when we get back to something resembling civilization.
- RaulMuadDib, on 09/07/2008, -2/+4I saw it twice at the IMAX.
- morphinapg, on 09/07/2008, -1/+3Almost always for me at least, the longer a movie is the better it turns out to be. Too many directors cut so much of a film simply to get it down to the 2 hour mark. I don't think directors should ever focus on how long a movie should be, just film it like it was written and release it the way the writer intended. Don't cut scenes or change endings, it almost always makes a movie worse.
- darwinwins, on 09/07/2008, -1/+3it hit the 1.6 billion in eight continuous months, dweeb.
- KingGorilla, on 09/07/2008, -1/+3for the pencil trick alone!
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -3/+5Eh.
