- matchb, on 07/24/2008, -1/+36I want this on Blu Ray already
- batmanz, on 07/24/2008, -1/+27God, I am sick of these quotations, they were good in the movie, let's leave them there.
...
"Why so Serious?"
"It's all part of the plan."
"How about a magic trick? I can make this pencil disappear... Ta daa!"
"The only sensible way to live your life is without rules."
"You're just a freak, ...like me."
"And here we... go."
"I'm like a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do if I caught one"
"I believe... whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you...stranger."
"Let's put a smile on that face!"
"Now, there's a bat man."
"This city deserves a better class of criminal and I'm gonna give it to them."
"I just want my phone call."
"I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve."
There, I got them all out, you guys OK? - MJDub, on 07/24/2008, -0/+25Going for viewing #3 this weekend. This time on IMAX.
- ar0ne, on 07/24/2008, -1/+24The Joker was excellent, and is a huge part of this movies success.
- inactive, on 07/24/2008, -2/+24I'm probably the only loser who hasn't seen this movie...this weekend for sure!
- xt0xicx, on 07/24/2008, -1/+22Nah this movie is worth to buy not to download
- ar0ne, on 07/24/2008, -0/+20Batman > *
- inactive, on 07/24/2008, -0/+13"The number of people going to see The Dark Knight that do not realize it’s a sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins."
I realize I'm probably going to get Dugg down to oblivion by fanboys of Slashfilm - but this guy makes one erroneous claim after another throughout the entirety of this article, and of course doesn't have proof backing it up. The same could be said for other movies of the same genre. I personally feel like the author is trying to undermine the success of this movie by making points that don't hold water in a rational argument. - TheXeno, on 07/24/2008, -2/+15Wait, so, this movie made 200 Million in four days? Holy *****.
- KingLeo, on 07/24/2008, -3/+15Why. So. Seriousssssagh?
- Ourcellardoor, on 07/24/2008, -0/+10News Flash: Batman is popular.
- chocobomog, on 07/24/2008, -0/+9Transformers opened on Monday night on July 2nd. Tuesday was the first full day it was open and it did especially well since most people took the day off for an extended July 4th weekend.
- Jerryskid02, on 07/24/2008, -1/+10I don't know who he would be up against as far as an Academy Award goes....but heath Ledger's performance deserves SOME kind of award. ***** amazing.
- Astheria, on 07/24/2008, -1/+10It's not about the money. It's about sending a message.
- FrenchAnarchy, on 07/24/2008, -2/+11Jesus, get the quote right...
- Newedge14, on 07/24/2008, -1/+9I'm almost prone to suggest a Batman sub section for digg
- cowsgonemadd3, on 07/24/2008, -0/+7I am going near a IMAX theater in 2 weeks think I should go see it again? It was so awesome!
- Torqz, on 07/24/2008, -1/+7My question is how did Transformers make so much on a tuesday? Was it raining everywhere in the US?
- forthex, on 07/24/2008, -1/+6You don't have to read the article if you don't want to.
And you especially don't have to bitch. - styx31989, on 07/24/2008, -0/+5Dugg for being the first time(that I saw) of that actually sounding right.

- u8muhrice, on 07/24/2008, -2/+4How much I wished I was a producer for this movie, just think of the insane amount money you would make...
- insomniac11, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1heath made this movie......batman sounded like he needed polygrip on his dentures.
- LesterVegas, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Interesting review of the film:
http://www.tontoandfriends.com/2008/07/film-review ... - Lawrencesss, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1TL;DR
- babystar69, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1that last paragraph completely lost me

- punkcat, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1was hot, people wanted the air conditioning of the theater.
- inactive, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1At this time, you would've made more money if you produced Tim Burton's Batman ;)
- Jerryskid02, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1I don't think "fanboys" have anything to do with it. I think anyone can see how good his performance was, whether they're a fan of Batman or not.
- dnields, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1Well, he already seems to have won the "Fanboy's Favorite" award... isn't that enough?
- grneye53, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1KILLER MOVIE FOR A KILLER ECONOMY ? Do you see what I see "Merry Chris opps can't say that anymore either.
- juzz101, on 07/24/2008, -2/+3This world needs a better class of movie .. And this film's going to give it to 'em.
- sgglynn, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Who cares how much money something makes.
- dnields, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1Exactly. Do you know why Heath Ledger said all of those lines in the move?
So fanboys wouldn't have to. - inactive, on 07/24/2008, -1/+2Even though I love Chris Nolan's Batman and all ,These stories on the frontpage are starting to feel like Astroturf.
- TheXuu, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I want this movie on LD! Uncompressed frames baby!
