Someone PLEASE, replicate that so imageshacks servers don't explode it. - TheCount, on 10/11/2007, -0/+30ugh, the format of that title made my head hurt.
- Tombs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+26"I always say, you never know what a man is truly made of until you peel the skin off his face one piece at a time." This was in my email.
- faxxy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+25He's ***** gruesome... I love it!
I love the direction they're taking this: dark and gritty. - bocanegra, on 10/11/2007, -3/+27again (sorry)...

- praveenmarkandu, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19where are we actually submitting our email addresses to?
- MisterSatan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19After Batman and Robin? He's earned it.
- thewebguy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+19katie holmes not returning will probably make some retarded ass scene with some other chick necessary. weak.. (thanks for nothing, l ron hubbard)
- JoeDiggsIt, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16That is one creepy ass Joker.
- XivGNP, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12Don't forget, all the sites for NIN's Year Zero ARG had about 10 different hosts, so I don't think that means much.
- sugarsickness, on 10/11/2007, -6/+18Looks more like Anna Nicole to me.

It looks like his face was cut from the edges of his mouth to his ears and then stitched together... - newbietheatre, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9@mythman
Yeah, Jack Nicholson immortalized The Joker... but only for those people who have never read a Batman comic. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9@Mythman
"not including George Clooney"
Are you ***** kidding me George Clooney was the worst Batman to date and that includes the 60's batman as well !! The Batman and Robin film blew f'n chunks. At least Val Kilmers portrayal was a bow to the 60's Batman.......unlike Clooney who was a filler because Val backed out sating the Batman Robin film script lacked substance and the story was all over the place. Apparently Clooney thought he would better it showing off his ass in the foam suit. All that didd was add more to a list of flops Clooney has starred in. I guess thats the FACTS OF LIFE
no pun intended - amalthea23, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11Looks exactly like Heath Ledger to me.
- Kronos6948, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Dude..you're right on...
As much as I liked the old '89 Joker (Nicholson) and all of the comic book renditions that I've seen, this one adds a whole new twist. He's actually horrifying. A criminal who's smile just causes you to get scared. Whereas Nicholson and the comic book versions all look like clown masks. - democrats, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7I am so tired of Batman fan boys crying over this - it looks fantastic. I wanted a creepy, scary looking joker and at the time it seemed like all these fan boys did too and now, they're bitching and crying over this. It is about the eyes and i think when heath smiles and/or laughs, its going to count. I didn't want a friggin clown running around laughing, i didn't want a green goblin etc. This is going to be one twisted tale and I am so pumped for it now. GREAT JOB NOLAN & CO.
- Lumiras, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7but, you have to imagine that Warner Bros. wants to be sneaky about this whole thing, and just because it's registered with GoDaddy does not mean that it's a fake
- cookiebearo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5that's what it's supposed to do, and it does it automatically without right clicking and choosing Play
the idea was that originally more pixels were blocking the image until people entered their email addresses
it explains that in the article... - Axtech, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5The smudging and messed up colours between his lips are from someone filling in the bits of the image that hadn't been revealed yet. Check the site now and you can see that many of those areas are now revealed and are much cleaner, with none of the "flaws" you pointed out: http://www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com/
- coopa, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5As a note, the text that comes up "You have 5 minutes to play" looks like the same handwriting as the letters in the Arkham Asylum comic that's done by the Joker.
- paulbjensen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Does anyone think of that guy from the Prodigy when they see this?
- CalSherpa, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Alright, for those of you that checked this site and just got a "Page not Found" message, take a closer look. If you use your curser and highlight the entire page, you can see hidden text saying "haha" in all different fonts.
This is clever, but you need to look deeper. There are other letters hidden into the H's and A's. When you find them all and put them in the order that they appear in a message comes up. "SEEYOUINDCMBR" See you in December. The movie doesn't come out until July, so this is probably referring to "The Joker's" next publicity stunt. Suddenly this is getting kinda exciting isn't it.
P.S. Yes I do have a lot of free time. - Axtech, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Actually, it says the full "SEE YOU IN DECEMBER" (just copied and pasted the text, and found then deleted every group of "ha ha ha ha ha")
Awesome find, though. I wouldn't have noticed those letters. - carpespasm, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5anyone care to look up a good match to the pre-edit photo if this is fake?
- micro506, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Don't feed the trolls.
- Thumper13, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I was a little worried about them doing the Joker thing. But this looks dark, REAL dark, and that makes me happy.
I don't think they are going for the same campy, pun filled fun of Nicholson. I think this is more Gacy, clown, freaky killer type.
woot! - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Remember when in Fight Club Brad Pitt gets punched by that mob-boss-ish guy till he's bleeding profusely from that mouth? Yeah, he could play the Joker.
- ScrumFritter, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It's like the start of the Bohemian Rhapsody video, where it had Queen's heads on black lit from beneath.
- JoeDiggsIt, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3You are soooo lame.
- BGFeltenink, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Haha, I was just thinking that he would have been a decent casting choice, other than the whole not being an actor thing.
- hofftv, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I just got back from Golden Apple Comics off of La Brea and Melrose in Los Angeles and in chalk out front on the sidewalk there was "I believe in Harvey Dent too" surrounded by "Ha Ha Ha." The guys said they don't know who did it, that they came into work in the morning and it was there.
- mlvassallo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Um... maybe some of you have never seen Val Kilmer? I'm not saying that is who it is. I am saying that is what the face looks like.
- Dorepoll, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I wonder if 42 entertainment is handling this one as well? They did a great job on the Nine Inch Nails and Halo sites, and if this ARG is just as good, I'll be playing along.
- dagooh, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Wait 'till you see his face.
- XivGNP, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Not to double post, but the confirmation for me that it's not a fake is those playing cards; not only do they say "I BELIEVE IN HARVEY DENT TOO", but that and the "HA HA" are in the same font/typeface/style as anything Joker said outside the balloons from The Killing Joke.
- Krakenman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0There's what appears to be a bunch of new movie photos!!! INCLUDING SOME OF TWO FACE!!!! And it IS Aaron Eckhart, it looks like they did his face with CG, looks pretty cool! CHECK THESE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!
http://s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa298/MovieLover909/The%20Dark%20Knight/ - dethop, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0well....i may be saying the obvious...but everyone knows that harvey is twoface....and that the joker's name is unkown???
- dethop, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0also adding to that it is said on wikipedia that the joker will be the one to throw the acid in harvey's face....so i guess thats where the joker comes in on the harvey dent websites (the joker does this when on trial)
- guito2005, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0what is this?
- resplence, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1That is either Heath Ledger or Marlon Brando.
- kenyon, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1I always thought Lyle Lovett had the perfect 'Joker' face. If only he was a bit yonger and could act.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005164/ - aussiekevin, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4It's amazing how leaving a period out of a sentence can make it unintelligible.
"I believe in Harvey dent, too SEE THE NEW JOKER" - onaps6453, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0When you respond to the initial email that is sent to you....the Joker rights something back...
I received this : "People always ask me about my charming boyish smile. Jessica used to love it. She was the loneliest girl in high school, and my first big kiss..."
character development anyone? - spidergus2k6, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Hey, word is if you take out all the HAHA's in the website they replaced the joker pixel thingy with, it says see you in december...now im not the smartest guy in town but id say that means the dark knight is out in december :) just a guess
