- jordanlgta, on 11/24/2007, -3/+14Batman Begins was one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. It surpassed just being a "superhero movie" and became something more. To this day, it is one of my favorite films of all time. I cannot wait for The Dark Knight.
- jupaneanu, on 11/24/2007, -0/+9i can't wait for this film!!!
- KrazyKoala, on 11/24/2007, -0/+6No offense but why write that? Isn't it just implied?
- jordanlgta, on 11/24/2007, -1/+7Yeah, you sound smart, but you're not. The story WILL be there. Christopher Nolan has never been about doing something without a good story. "Who cares about the quality" is not a good statement. You need to care about both the QUALITY of the technical aspects as well as the STORY...not just one...
- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+5I think you'll get both with Christopher Nolan. He directed Memento, Insomnia and the The Prestige.
- bashnu, on 11/24/2007, -1/+5Who cares about the Quality, make sure the story works.
Content. - AshamedAmerican, on 11/24/2007, -0/+3Let me set this straight: the footage isn't a prequel, it's simply Joker's bank robbery at the beginning of the film that they shot at the old post office building in Chicago, that's all. You're gonna get to see the first 7 minutes of the film, that's all.
- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+3FYI: From the Dark Knight (film) wiki...
"A five-minute preview of The Dark Knight will show before the IMAX screenings of I Am Legend, which will be released on December 14, 2007. The preview will show the first five minutes of The Dark Knight in which the Joker rises from small time bank robber to a powerful gangster in Gotham City." - MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -1/+4It's not a remake. It's a continuation of the new Batman Begins franchise; a more realistic take on the Batman universe.
- cmdrNacho, on 11/24/2007, -0/+2Watching the last harry potter film in imax 3D was amazing... I saw superman in 3D and it doesn't even compare to the potter movie in Imax 3D
- crweaks23, on 11/24/2007, -0/+2I agree, it was one of the coolest theater experiences I've ever had.
- neom, on 11/24/2007, -0/+2Did anyone see what looked to be a lambo with a stedicam rig on it?!
(Never mind, they are shooting in, not out) - greenriver572, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1does anyone else notice the trailer for Halloween next to it? "only at the movies November 22"? they already released that and it sucked, why try again? ANYWAY, TDKR looks excellent.
- jordanlgta, on 11/24/2007, -2/+3Beowulf in Real D was spectacular.
- slothlovechunk, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1What's going to suck is watching the rest of the film in the imax. Yeah, those 4 scenes will be amazing, and then you will have to go back to stretching your neck and seeing upscaling and sharpening artifacts.
At least the sound is still amazing regardless of feature movies just not working on an imax screen. - Wrabbit26, on 11/24/2007, -2/+3I saw Superman Returns in 3-D and I found it to be very annoying that I had to take the glasses off and put them on numerous times during the film. If the whole thing isn't in 3-D then why bother. Besides, the scenes in Superman that were in 3-D looked more like models than like what they were supposed to be. CGI movies do better in 3-D in my opinion. I agree with bashnu; who cares about the all the 3-D and graphics if the story sucks. Give me a great story like the last film. I'll pay to see that.
- Philbert, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1I'm not so sure about having only four scenes done with the IMax camera. I feel like "if you're going to do it... do it!"
- KewlerKid3, on 11/24/2007, -1/+2Imax + 3d = (i-don't-think-i-can-handle-it) Friggin Awesome
- adamantium, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1Whoever dugg him down is too retarded to read any comment longer than 2 lines. Dugg up for good sense and proper priorities: story > visuals.
- 786digger, on 11/25/2007, -0/+0Does anyone know the name of the music that was playing during that video?
- Tomson74, on 11/25/2007, -1/+0WOW did Digg become a BITCH FEST or what?
- brad06, on 11/24/2007, -2/+1IMAX 3D kind of sucks. Did you see Superman Returns? Fumbling with the glasses when action starts for a small 3D clip that makes you (me?) go crosseyed is lame. Normal IMAX will do. :)
- slothlovechunk, on 11/24/2007, -2/+1But Superman Returns sucked balls anyways. You could probably blame the sucking on the 3D. I blame the sucking on it sucking.... Who is better off? I don't know.
- ogremidget, on 11/24/2007, -3/+1What made Batman Begins so great was that it hadn't been done before. Can someone please explain why this movie is being remade?
- jinkop38, on 11/24/2007, -6/+1boring.
