I'm Batman
Your Mommas Batman
Ceiling Cat is watching your Batman
Enlarge your penis, go to enlargeyourpenis.com - vtbarrera, on 02/03/2009, -6/+77BD Live will be an epic failure, I'm already picky enough with who I want to watch movies with in my own home; I certainly don't need to be engaged in some movie related discussion with some 2-bit whackjob about the Dark Knight after watching it. This feature only spells bad news.
- BigTuna99, on 08/07/2008, -2/+55I am the terror that flaps in the night.........
- dty2010, on 08/07/2008, -0/+45Now you can spoil the end of the movie from the comfort of your own home!

/quit - reconflux, on 08/07/2008, -0/+38How is this going to be regulated? Are we going to have some form of IRC Ops? Will the MPAA rating change to change when people start cursing in the chat room?
I hope we have something in place or we'll have tons of SPAMMERS... - viewdrix, on 08/07/2008, -0/+34This is just like that chat ability Microsoft announced, where friends will be able to chat with you if you're all watching the same Netflix movie on the 360.
In that my main reaction is "I don't want people talking while I'm trying to watch a movie, especially if I can't reach over and hit them if they start getting annoying." - coheedcollapse, on 08/07/2008, -2/+32Why is everyone so up-in-arms about this feature. I can't see myself using it often, but It'd be cool to do it with friends that I don't always have contact with. Sort of like a virtual movie night.
Also, it's not like it's mandatory, so why bitch? - digifuzz, on 08/07/2008, -3/+26gross, TMI !
- greenlight2001, on 08/07/2008, -0/+20Dark Wing Duck?

- Animal, on 08/07/2008, -0/+13I am the rhinestones on the jumpsuit of justice!
- MalDON, on 08/07/2008, -0/+9Still going to pirate the movie in HD. I saw it more than enough times in the theater to warrant pirating it.
- rowjimmy, on 08/08/2008, -0/+9"I hope we have something in place or we'll have tons of SPAMMERS..."
- GlitchEnzo, on 08/07/2008, -1/+9I am the winged scourge that pecks at your nightmares!

- SteelFrog, on 08/08/2008, -0/+8wut?
- Kevleviathan, on 08/08/2008, -0/+8There's already been BD-Live releases. So no, it won't be.
- P1um, on 08/07/2008, -1/+8screw batman, I'm the joker!
- cjvercetti, on 08/07/2008, -7/+14Then don't use it. Problem = solved.
- jester55, on 08/08/2008, -0/+5how many people can be in the same room? I wonder if digg movie night could work
- gl77, on 08/08/2008, -0/+5dumbest idea........ever......
- Jrr6415sun, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4some people are lonely when they watch movies.... and would enjoy the company of others
- smartguy4932, on 08/07/2008, -0/+4I am Darkwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing Duck!
- rinote, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4"This scene is below viewing threshold."
- WiseWeasel, on 08/07/2008, -0/+4The reason it's a terrible idea is that you have to coordinate your movie watching with other people remotely. Need to go to the bathroom? Gotta contact the host and ask nicely to pause the movie. One person gets a phone call, he's screwed out of whatever part of the movie he's going to have to miss. Watching a movie with people works when they're all in the same room, but with people scattered across the globe, it's going to be a ***** experience. Either the viewers are going to get out of sync, or you're going to be spending half your time trying to rewind/pause/explain to people what they missed, all for the privilege of being able to trash-talk your flick.
Agreed with grandparent post that it's going to be a complete failure, only used by 1/1000th of 1% of the BluRay-playing population. IOW, it's more effort on the part of the equipment manufacturers than it's worth, and you'll only see extremely ***** implementations if any at all. - MOJIRA, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4Let's. Get. Dangerous.
- Aliwalla, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4yes. can we digg up/down scenes?
- djphilos, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4Buried because this article/paragraph doesnt explain what BD-Live really is. Now its seems all of you think that BD-live is a chat feature.
- MOJIRA, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4It might interesting to chat with people with similar movie interests.
If BD has an online profile feature where you can specify your favorite flicks and it matches you up with similar movie buffs that could be interesting. On the other hand it could get incredibly nerdy. - themastersb, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4Whatever happened to movies getting the "Change camera angle" feature?
- mccartyba, on 08/07/2008, -3/+6I don't think its that bad of an idea. Granted the movies I'd love to do it with will never have this feature... It would make all my cheesy horror films so much more fun to watch. because I enjoy joking during them. Then again, its not like you would have to use the feature even if its available.
- bubbameister33, on 08/07/2008, -0/+3Then why send them a chat invite or accept theirs?
- borez, on 08/07/2008, -1/+4Is that the best they could come up with?
Watching a film while being profanity-flamed by some teenage tosser with the enlightened opinion of a goat is not my idea of entertainment...or fun. - GlitchEnzo, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3You mean just like the person who commented 7 hours before you? ;-)
- HappyScrappy, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3I shat on it because it sucked.
The feature sucks on BluRay too. Not interested in community viewing. - Qumahlin, on 08/08/2008, -1/+4Wow, your so wrong its hysterical.
HD-DVD was actually a pretty finalized format, unlike Blu Ray which was never finalized in the first place which is the reason they started releasing "profile updates" and then broke the news that unless you own a PS3 pretty much every profile update they've done is useless to you.
HD-DVD much like Betamax was the better format, but lost due to a marketing war. Anyone who thinks that Blu Ray is superior to HD-DVD just because it "won the format war" is a moron. - Hale, on 08/07/2008, -2/+5When HD DVD released a community viewing feature 9 MONTHS AGO everyone on digg shat on it. You guys have such a short memory.
- MickJT, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3Misleading headline, the article says it might be Warner's first BD-Live release
Men In Black was the actual first BD-Live release. - HappyScrappy, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2Inaccurate. That's not what BD-Live is. BD-Live is just BluRay 2.0, which allows BluRay movies to access the internet.
This interactive "watch stuff together" thing is just an application of BD-Live. - solesoul, on 08/07/2008, -3/+5That depends on which Rachel Dawes you're talking about....
Nah who am I kidding, I'd slip it to Maggie too if I got the chance. - FriedTurkey, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2Those HD-DVD guys who said it was a big deal that some Blu-Ray players couldn't update to use this worthless ***** should be saying people want to use it. They weren't just complaining about the lack of updatable Bu-Ray players because they bought the wrong machine were they?
- Hnnnnnghhh, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2I'll stick with the Pirate Bay format, thanks.
- Jrr6415sun, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2I'm pretty sure Disney movies will be the first with BDLive.. maybe this will be the first for Warner Bros.. but the title saying it's the first BDLive release is a little inaccurate.

says Oct 7th for sleeping beauty. - UniversityX, on 08/07/2008, -1/+3No really, it's OK to leave the house.
- slugicide, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2Aren't people already doing this? Ethercasting or something?
- zboyet, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2The feature sounds stupid and something I will never ever use to be honest. Who the hell wants to click away on a keyboard while they are watching a movie. It is like getting a phone call while you are trying to watch a movie ***** annoying.
- Yaanu, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2The Harvey Dent poster is backwards.
