The Broken Videos -> On The PSP

sahaskatta.com — Download all THREE of the Full-Length episodes of "The Broken" for the "PSP". The videos have been converted to MP4 enable playback on the PSP and each of the videos are under 30MB so they will fit on the MemoryStick Sony has provided.   • sahaskatta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The videos are not in wide screen mode, if they were the file would be to large to place on a 30MB card. But luckily the PSP allows you to strech the video to best fit the screen once you start the video. The video looks great and more videos will be put up soon.

Also i have had over 200 visitors downloading this "useless crap" off my site in the last 3 hours. And im #9 on this site with (40) on the home page you have (0) and your are ~1400 so i wouldn't be talking
  • the.smo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good move. I like it but you need to change the filenames around a bit -- for example: Video 3 should be "M4V00003.MP4" in all CAPs or else the PSP will not recognize it.

    Oh, sorry big man! Didn't realise your internet "street cred" was so important. This is useless. If anyone WANTs to watch a video on the PSP, they can convert it themselves.

    Oddly, when I downloaded the vids, the .MP4 was in lowercase. Hmm, weird. I can try and host them but I left the videos at my friends house. If you could give me another place to download them, I will gladly host them.

    I also am considering opening a torrent tracker for PSP converted videos. It helps a lot when people convert video for others as it is time consuming.

  • G-RaZoR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When they say that they are mostly thinking about posting it on a site, not reencoding it. Either way, I'm wrong. I admit it. But does anyone else think the PSP video thing is a pain? Converting, renaming, buying memory sticks. Very incovient in my opinion

  • raj3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0well g-razor, there doesn't seem to be any solutions that eliminate any of those steps, renaming (for me at least, dont know about you) isn't much of a hassle at the moment, and while paying for hardware sure is a pain, thats just how the world works. and as for the converting, if the psp somehow supported video at such high quality, you would be even further "inconvenienced" by being forced to buy more memory sticks. but otherwise, yes, transferring the movies to the psp is quite inconvenient, a system in which the machine could, by psychic communication, sense which videos you wanted and automatically transfered them would be a much more intuitive solution, too bad sony was too inconsiderate to implement such technology.
