- BR3DDY, on 12/12/2007, -8/+44The Simpsons Movie? As a gigantic Simpsons fan, even I have to say BS. Maybe just because of the hype, but definitely not based on content.
No Country for Old Men was masterful and is more than qualified for the top 5 - sinurgy, on 12/12/2007, -0/+26Never mind...I guess those were both technically 2006 releases. They were released at pretty bad times IMHO. Anyone who hasn't seen them, do yourself a favor and check them out!
- sinurgy, on 12/12/2007, -16/+42How about Pan's Labyrinth or Children of Men?

1. - MindTrigger, on 12/12/2007, -2/+24I've heard people bitch about it, but I really enjoyed Zodiac as well. Glad to see it made the list.
- h4k0r, on 12/12/2007, -2/+23Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer didnt make the list!!!! Whats this world coming to, next people will be telling me that ghost rider was horrible
- delusionz, on 12/12/2007, -1/+20Surprised American Gangster didn't make the list.
- TheLaughMachine, on 12/12/2007, -2/+21Continuing Legato's list....

....am I the only one who's completely unfamiliar with this list's top choice? - Harboggles, on 12/13/2007, -3/+21THIS.....IS.....*****!! I mean. Sparta.
- ResonantToe, on 12/12/2007, -1/+15Both 2006 films, not 2007
- Legato, on 12/12/2007, -0/+14the people who submit these damn top 10 lists need to freaking copy this stuff down and post it preemptively...
4. No Country For Old Men
3. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
2. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
1. Once - unrequited, on 12/12/2007, -10/+23Simpsons movie sucked. Spider pig and all, it was worse than three random episodes (pre season 5) strung together.
- picalicious, on 12/12/2007, -4/+16This list sucks
- siralphred, on 12/12/2007, -2/+14here i come piratebay
- MattnJax, on 12/13/2007, -3/+15Children of Men was an incredible, thought provoking film. The cinematography was amazing. It's definitely one of my favorites from 2006. The Departed would have to be #1 from last year though.
- Procure, on 12/12/2007, -3/+15...Seriously? The only one you've seen is Gone Baby Gone?
- inactive, on 12/12/2007, -1/+13Down at 27 diggs ;_;
Though id like to say i REALLY enjoyed enchanted more then i thought i would. Really expected it to be just a girl chick or a kids film but i laughed all the way through it. - Pake, on 12/13/2007, -0/+10We're still 2 days away from it's release in theaters...
- reckless8594, on 12/13/2007, -1/+11My God, near the end there was a one take scene that blew my mind. I would definitely recommend Children of Men to anyone.
- fnaqzna, on 12/12/2007, -1/+11Worse... Ocean's 13 as an honorable mention.
- trentasaurus, on 12/13/2007, -2/+11Zodiac was great. Do people not like it just because (spoiler) they don't catch the killer at the end? Because that's what happened in real life. I think the problem was that people was that they advertised it as slasher/horror movie and young people went expecting that, and didn't have the patience for the actual movie.
- fridenstrom, on 12/13/2007, -0/+9Where's 300 ?
- chiefbandit2200, on 12/13/2007, -3/+11The Simpsons Movie was pretty bad (and im a simpsons fan!)... i think the Bourne Ultimatum should have its place.
- heypetray, on 12/13/2007, -3/+11Yeah, and then when I hear "Spider Pig Song" every 5 ***** minutes, I want to blow my brains out. That movie killed any liking I might have still had for the series after it went downhill. I now have a disgust for the Simpson's that rivals my extreme distaste of "That Seventies Show"
Sorry for being a negative Nancy... But Com'on. - estacado, on 12/12/2007, -3/+11My personal no.1 is Stardust.

1. Once - MillionsLivio, on 12/13/2007, -0/+8It was sarcasm.
- janoo1989, on 12/13/2007, -0/+8lol Where's 300?
- luet, on 12/13/2007, -0/+7And the 2007 award for slowest person on digg goes to...
- Pake, on 12/12/2007, -0/+7I guess they didn't like American Gangster too much.
- Roger, on 12/13/2007, -1/+8The only positive thing about Ocean's 13 is that it sucked less than Ocean's 12.
- gambyt13, on 12/13/2007, -1/+8Ghost Rider was horrible.
- hbfarker, on 12/13/2007, -1/+7No sure why everyone is raving about Superbad. I just saw it last night. It really wasn't that funny. Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin were much better movies.
Yes... The Simpsons Movie was a big disappointment. But I'd still recommend it to any Simpsons fan. - jhuebel, on 12/13/2007, -0/+6Although being subtitled made the movie a bit harder to follow, it was a really spectacular movie. I watched it the first time to take in the subtitles, then a second time to take in how gorgeously made the movie was. Children of Men wasn't great, in my opinion. It was overhyped.
- ahoyhoy, on 12/13/2007, -0/+5This one confuses me. They insist on having The Host (kinda overrated) but not one of the greatest mob films since Goodfellas?
- Shpox, on 12/12/2007, -8/+13Sad to see Superbad at 11.
- GirSaysDoom13, on 12/13/2007, -1/+6Sir, you obviously have not SEEN Ratatouille. It was a masterpiece.
The Host was also awesome. - drastik21, on 12/13/2007, -1/+6Where's 300?
- TheAtomicMoose, on 12/13/2007, -1/+6Hotfuzz was one of the most hilarious movies I have ever seen... Superbad was kind of good, it had moments... but it was not nearly as fantastic as hot fuzz... oh the perfection.
- merdiesel, on 12/13/2007, -0/+4No Benders Big Score?...
- heypetray, on 12/13/2007, -0/+4No kidding. Author could have cut "The year is recapped through a top twenty list that includes...And more" and just listed the other 4 in the Subject. Thanks for listing 16/20 in the description.
- scabbers, on 12/12/2007, -1/+5If I wanted to know the 'best' in terms of user votes, I'd go to IMDB to get some idea.
- paulvq, on 12/12/2007, -1/+5It's only a matter of time before someone says, "Where's 300?"
- CannedMango, on 12/13/2007, -0/+4I second that, I loved Zodiac.
- Pake, on 12/13/2007, -3/+7In 2006.
- EzarKun, on 12/13/2007, -2/+6where the ***** is Bourne Ultimatum?!
- luet, on 12/13/2007, -0/+4No really, it was nowhere near as good as 28 Days Later.
- dietfacts, on 12/13/2007, -0/+4Yep, from the list I've only seen Gone Baby Gone. Sad, eh? A lot of them never came here. When it costs over $20 just for my family to get into the theatre, it makes better sense to rent. 3:10 to Yuma was pretty good, too, but not much different from the original.
The biggest theatre in my area has 8 screens, but they tend to devote 3 of them to same dang movie. If I remember right the latest Die Hard movie and every freakin' kids movie holds almost half of the screens hostage for several weeks after opening. I guess in the Heartland kids' movies are where the profits are. :( - neodorian, on 12/13/2007, -0/+3In your Xbox with the rest of the thin plots and overused CGI.
- h4mx0r, on 12/13/2007, -2/+5The Host IS NOT THAT GREAT. Jesus, it's not bad, it's better than okay, but it isn't great.
