- 0ceanic, on 01/11/2008, -0/+17i torrented "the nines" a few weeks ago when i heard about it.
i ended up getting the porn of the same name. those poor girls wont ***** right for the rest of their lives. - antivibe, on 01/11/2008, -3/+14good list for those who are into film
- aurrea, on 01/11/2008, -1/+11Don't tell me which movies I haven't watched... Bitch.
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -0/+10The last time it was on the frontpage was 16 ***** days ago. I don't usually bitch about dupes, but can we at least wait 3 weeks between stories? Last time it got over 2000 diggs. Its not like no one saw the list. C'mon, people 16 days between dupes is unacceptable, we can do better than this. If you didn't see the list then, its a good one, enjoy it, but If you miss it again, no worries, I have a feeling it'll be back sooner rather than later.
- FyreGoddess, on 01/11/2008, -6/+14I saw 5 of those in the theater. An additional 4 were on the list, but either didn't play in my area, or played in such limited release that it was impossible to actually catch a showing.
Why, yes, I am an art house movie snob. - inactive, on 01/11/2008, -5/+13I gotta call ***** on Grindhouse making this list. I saw quite a few of these movies, and Grindhouse doesn't rate.
- jd72277, on 01/11/2008, -0/+7yeah, because this is a list of movies you haven't seen.
- hellas1g7, on 01/11/2008, -0/+7http://digg.com/movies/The_Best_19_Movies_You_Didn ...
-???? - zaxang, on 01/11/2008, -0/+7This article has already been on Digg. Buried.
- DinosWillDie13, on 01/11/2008, -0/+6I can believe this is a great list. I saw the host and it was an awesome film.
- theholotrope, on 01/11/2008, -1/+6Awesome, this is a good list. Although it would be great if I could see either trailers or rotten tomatoes ratings beside each one. I pretty much do anything the tomatoes say anyway.
- hddigger, on 01/11/2008, -0/+5wtf? Duplicate. Buried.
- Niightwitch, on 01/11/2008, -0/+4 "I pretty much do anything the tomatoes say anyway."
The tomatoes say go kill yourself. - nunofgs, on 01/11/2008, -0/+4The story was great? I have to disagree.
Mankind's very LAST hope, a starship equipped with the ability to re-ignite the sun was sent to save humanity and an ENTIRE TRAINED CREW decides it would be a good idea to deviate from their course to investigate an old crashed ship.
And don't give me the argument of: "2 sun-igniting ships are better than one". They said in the movie that the weapon was all theoretical and they had no idea if it would work. Two uncertainties are NOT better than one. - Le3f, on 01/11/2008, -0/+4Not a bad list, only 2 additional films come to mind (that got extremely limited to no release... at least where I live) : The Darjeeling Limited, Juno
- skunkman62, on 01/11/2008, -0/+4so it was a dupe. thank the gods. i thought there was a glitch in the matrix
- MasterPlayer, on 01/11/2008, -2/+6Sunshine was great.
- modsuperstar, on 01/11/2008, -2/+6Good list. I have a bunch of movies on this list that I have yet to watch. I'm itching to see King Of Kong
- erikwithaknotac, on 01/11/2008, -4/+8Missed the masterpiece...No country for Old Men
- anselm83, on 01/11/2008, -1/+5Boring. Repeat.
And "Everything's Gone Green" is the ***** piece of ***** in the *****. - ebaycoach, on 01/11/2008, -0/+3I quit going to movies - too many rude cell phone addicts ruin it for the rest of us. I just wait for the DVD that I can watch in a NO CELL PHONE zone.
- hellas1g7, on 01/11/2008, -0/+3you beat me to the punch
- hokuxlani, on 01/11/2008, -4/+7Dugg for Across the Universe. Long live The Beatles.
- mailthev, on 01/11/2008, -1/+4death proof was an incredibly awful movie
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -3/+6I saw across the universe thrice. And yes it was the best movie I saw in 2007.
- Niightwitch, on 01/11/2008, -0/+3I'm going to put it up again tomorrow nitesmoke....bend over, and get ready for it.
- cambrown99, on 01/11/2008, -0/+3This list is missing the best one: Once
Not only is it an amazingly great movie, it also cost next to nothing to make. I wish all movies had this much heart in them. - bdbr, on 01/11/2008, -0/+3I did see these in 2007...on Digg!
- SlamShut, on 01/11/2008, -2/+5Holy *****, what an awful list. The review he puts up for "Grindhouse" calls it "not only Kurt Russell's greatest performance, but the best car chase ever filmed, hands down."
You've gotta be ***** kidding me.
Then he finishes by calling it "The best experience I've had at the movies my entire life."
What a ***** joke. This guy has ***** horrible taste, and no real idea what he's watching. I think a more accurate title for this article would be "All 19 movies I mindlessly lapped-up at the art-house theater this year and then claimed were the year's best so that I could appear to be intelligent about film."
Schmuck. - happytedium, on 01/11/2008, -0/+3Where's "The Man from Earth"?
- Niightwitch, on 01/11/2008, -1/+3It does rate.
- Niightwitch, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2"a lot happens in my life in seats."
...I'll bet it does. - Protoss, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2I saw 4 of those movies, and they definitely deserved being on the list.
- FatPhizzle, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2I have to add wristcutters: a love story to the list. Its a funny movie and a great story.
- verynegative, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2these lists saying what i did or did not do the last year are really ***** annoying.
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -1/+3ok, all lubed up! engage.
- phazon88, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2Digg is turning into 4can. "Every post is a repost".
- xMaru, on 01/11/2008, -1/+3Dugg for The Lookout.
- D3koy, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2Saw all of them but King of Kong, and that's the only one I really wanted to see....
- TrevorPace, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2WRONG!
You need to watch this movie on drugs.
(Although the original albums were much better recordings) - diskit, on 01/11/2008, -0/+2"Forget about Cloverfield"
WTF? I haven't even seen Cloverfield because IT HASN'T BEEN RELEASED YET.
Don't tell me to forget about a movie I can't possibly have seen in place of one I could see. - finalfantasyIII, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1I disagree. Sunshine was my favorite story of 2007, and visually, for me anyways is comparable to "Space Odyssey 2001, a". Highly emotive and very very strong visually.
- Vigrant, on 01/11/2008, -0/+1Do you like music?
- FrostyITRadio, on 01/11/2008, -0/+1I like the move "*****", or how it's known also as F**k
- AceTracer, on 01/11/2008, -0/+1I saw 6, but I need to see the rest.
I would also include Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, An Unreasonable Man, and Behind the Shadow of the Moon. - inactive, on 01/12/2008, -0/+1Except Helter Skelter.
