        Just because it's a sequel doesn't mean it won't be good, look at Godfather part 2, T2: Judgement Day, Empire Strikes Back or even Matrix Reloaded (One of these things is not like the other), even movies based on cartoons hae been good in the past, Spider-Man, Batman Begins, X-Men, all awesome.

        I say, wait until it premiers and then judge.

      Maybe the next 007 will be a movie to remember, too. Casino Royale was much better than I expected.

A film with Edward Norton and Tim Roth can't be ignored, I'm hoping this does for the hulk franchise what Batman Begins done for Batman. Should be interesting.

Certainly easier than the super soldier, the billionaire arms merchant, the Norse God, the wife beater who can make himself huge, the blind lawyer etc.

      I have to say that, although I find Bana great, his casting was terribly wrong in Hulk.

I'm just curious who's going to play the head of KAOS. The original was Bernie Koppel - the doctor on the Love Boat. And he was young then. That shows you how old they're going back to find scripts of television shows to make movies from.

      It took one film for the to relaunch the Hulk franchise. Think about that before you get really excited, or before you expect it to make billions at the BO.

    • rtrypowred, on 01/02/2008, -0/+0I remember watching the Dalton films when I was younger and didn't understand, because Bond wasn't Connery or Moore. Because of that I wrote off the Dalton films as crap for years.

      A couple years ago, I went back and watched a bunch of Bond films I hadn't seen in a while, and realized that "The Living Daylights" is one of the best Bond movies ever made (IMHO). Due to that, and the fact that even "License to Kill" is better than some of the later Moore films, makes Dalton my favorite alternate Bond (Connery being the one true Bond).

      Moore/Craig (Jury is still out, need more movies to make a decision, but I really dug Casino Royale)

      Lasenby

        But really, it was close enough for my tastes. It had Bond working to bankrupt Le Chiffre, who was trying to pay off his debt to some bad guys. Bond survives a few attempts on his life, gets helped by Leiter and Mathis. Then one of the bad guys comes and kills Le Chiffre after Bond gets his balls whacked. And Vesper Lynd is a traitorous bitch.
        In all honesty I liked the movie's plot better than the book's. I'm as much a Fleming fan as anyone, but it was just his first attempt at a novel, after all.

          Just didn't feel like a "James Bond" movie to me. I'm not hating the movie it was a good movie just wasn't a "James Bond" movie for me. There was aspects that took me away from the feel of a Bond movie, like a car chase that lasted 15 seconds but otherwise it was a good action movie.

    WHAT?! That movie should be way freaking higher on the list! #9 definitely doesn't do it justice - and I'm pretty sure most people I know would be MUCH more excited to see it than, say, #7-9. Narnia might be more successful...but it's pretty much obvious that a big-budget CGI blockbuster would do well.

    13. James Bond 22 = for the love of god please stop telling him your plan and just shoot him in the head, Bond has always been cool but it's getting a little old.

    12. Sex and the City: The Movie = you saw it all in the TV show unless you watched it on reruns on network TV.

    10. Hellboy II: The Golden Army = based on Hellboy one which is based on a screen play which was taken from some comics.

    8. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - based on a movie - based on a book.

    7. Star Trek = based on the STNG the movie - based on STNG the tv show - based on Star trek the movies - based on Star trek.

    6. Wall-E = true creative animation and i hope a good story line.

    4. Iron Man = the song? the cartoon? or the comic?

    2. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull = my god i do not even need to say any thing you all know what i will say!

    Ok so what i am i getting at the fact that allot of the stuff they are trying to hype of is a redo, remake or ad on. Why to sell another name when you can sell the same name doing the same thing but with a number 2 after it.
    If batman used numbers and not other names i think batman would be at about 3000 by now.

    If you really can not wait to see any of the above movies just watch the old ones and close your eye to picture new CGI effects!

For example, they could have the joker kill Paris Hilton and Sarah Jessica Parker and when The Dark Knight comes to the rescue (driven by speed racer because the batmobile is out of commision), he is taken out by the Hulk. When Eric Bana realizes that he ***** up by killing Batman he calls his brother-in-law, Indiana Jones to see if he can help him escape to Africa to fight the Nazis. Meanwhile...

That isn't saying quality original movies wont get praised but without a strong fanbase from either the source material, previous work,or faith in the competency of the people behind it there is absolutely no reason to wait in anticipation.
