- CannedMango, on 09/11/2008, -0/+47Actually, Justin Long was in Galaxy Quest (in a very fitting role as an obsessive nerd) two years before he was in Jeepers Creepers.
- mockidol, on 09/11/2008, -1/+36I liked the movie Toys.
- DforSpiD, on 09/11/2008, -0/+29Masters of the Universe is a bad ass-movie
- ThunderXcat, on 09/11/2008, -0/+28Masters of the Universe is a bad ass movie.
- rjhomuth, on 09/11/2008, -1/+26lol @ the guy in that page's comments pretending to be MrBabyMan.
- russ3, on 09/11/2008, -1/+23This articles a little confused. Being paid to have sex is a great and honorable profession. I wish I could, but the closest I get is jerking off a work.
- Miamisun, on 09/11/2008, -1/+21Does that mean this whole list is a FAIL?
- Heidenreich12, on 09/11/2008, -1/+20MRBABYMAN left a comment on the site and he didn't even submit the story...that surprised me
- Sneezyx, on 09/11/2008, -0/+18Popeye is one of Altman's best movies, and one of Williams's best roles: buried for being an asshat.
- toolivejew, on 09/10/2008, -0/+15Nightmare on Elm Street is an amazing movie. Not sure that fits the bill. I'm not sure he'd be particularly embarrassed by it either. Not when he has Nick Of Time on his later resume
- sirdandan, on 09/11/2008, -0/+14Ok, Williams was in Good Morning, Vietnam before he was in Popeye.
No Jamie Foxx in Toys.
Jeepers Creepers was not Longs first flick.
Toy Soliders description is highly inaccurate.
The article is burried for being badly writen, trying to force wit and being full of *****. - Osirus1156, on 09/11/2008, -3/+13@ #5.
Jennifer Aniston is still hot... - AmericanParty, on 09/11/2008, -12/+22Justin Long sucks.
- cdawzrd, on 09/11/2008, -0/+8Great domain name
- D3koy, on 09/11/2008, -0/+8Justin Long hasn't really proven himself as a decent actor yet, therefore he shouldn't be considered in "terrible first movie roles" or else everyone who was on some Sci-Fi channel original movie and never made it big should be on this list...I mean when Dodgeball is the highlight of your film career...
- displacednomad, on 09/11/2008, -0/+7See also: Earth Girls Are Easy.
- Jingoism, on 09/11/2008, -0/+7***** You! Popeye is Awesome.
- P1um, on 09/11/2008, -1/+8Small Soldiers PWNS. It's part of my childhood.
- BunnyEarBoy, on 09/11/2008, -1/+7Ok,
That was LL Cool J in Toys not Jamie Fox
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005112/
I loved that movie, cause it was cool, like Willy Wonka without the candy,
How did they leave Kevin Bacon off the list with his first film being Friday the 13th?
I laugh every time he gets the arrow pushed through his neck from underneath the bed... cause the best part about Kevin Bacon movies ... is watching him die in them - DforSpiD, on 09/11/2008, -0/+6It isn't very sporting to break a combo before it has a chance to begin...
- MrM1yagi, on 09/11/2008, -0/+5Never give up! Never surrender!
- mockidol, on 09/11/2008, -0/+5Once Bitten
- nomonkey, on 09/11/2008, -0/+5Whoever wrote this is an idiot.
Popeye?
In addition, it is inaccurate and poorly written. Worse, the author clearly thinks he's funny, which is also inaccurate.
Oh, and..."even the ones with Cox." ? Is that suggesting that Courtney wasn't hot in 1987? Since he already implied something similar about Aniston, I shouldn't be shocked.
What a tool. - charm803, on 09/10/2008, -2/+7Two movies bring me happy memories of my childhood, number 10 and number 2.
- whazdown, on 09/11/2008, -0/+5Not gonna lie, being a male pornstar isn't embarassing, fair play to be honest.
- wildbill185, on 09/11/2008, -0/+5They forgot Hercules in New York staring Ahhhhhhhrnold. It is available for free viewing on hulu.com for any interested in a truly hilarious movie.
- chibimmy, on 09/11/2008, -0/+5I believe you're confused. This article is about TERRIBLE first roles, not brilliant ones.
- regicide, on 09/11/2008, -1/+6Whats so embarrassing about Jeepers Creepers?
- Chocobot, on 09/11/2008, -0/+4Johnny Depp gets eaten by his bed in the movie.
- Deadpixel1221, on 09/11/2008, -0/+4Um...Re-watch the film and get back to us. That wasn't Depp in the jail cell; besides he didn't consider it an embarrassment he even did a cameo for Nightmare on Elm Street 6.
- ProfessorRiffs, on 09/11/2008, -0/+3Depp's death in NOES is one of the greatest on-screen deaths ever.
Also, Popeye and MOTU were both killer flicks.
ok bye. - RobotKeaton, on 09/11/2008, -0/+3No he wasn't. In fact, nobody was funny in Waiting.
- canvashinder, on 09/11/2008, -1/+4Just throwing this out there.
It isn't starring but Kevin Bacon 1st movie was in Animal House role of Chip Diller memorable line "Thank You, Sir may I have another." - eelwrolyat, on 09/11/2008, -0/+3Haha I forgot about the Italian Stallion. What was that horrible movie Jim Carrey did in his early years where he became a vampire?
- wutimatang, on 09/11/2008, -0/+3Seriously, that was a bad ass movie.
- TrevorBelmont, on 09/11/2008, -0/+3Popeye is a good movie. Give it a watch. It's chock full of weird little background details. If anyone should be embarrassed by this being an early entry on their CV, it's Dennis Franz.
(Yup, he's in there...) - archer104, on 09/11/2008, -0/+3Wait a second...
Nightmare on Elm Street
21 Jump Street
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
...sesame street...?!?
Don't do it Depp! Don't ruin big bird! - AmericanParty, on 09/11/2008, -1/+4Sir, I think you should know these growths on your forearms, they're giant tumors. Yeah I'm surprised you haven't realized this isn't how a human being is supposed to look. And the speech thing, and what you're doing with your eye. Uh, you had a stroke about seven years ago. That you've managed to be walking around all this time is nothing short of a miracle...
- scoreloot, on 09/11/2008, -0/+3Which wasn't his first either - Check out Rubber Neck, its by far worse...
- nomonkey, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2It was both.
- isukeyo, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Yes!
- ipxodi, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2How about Tom Hanks in "Mazes & Monsters"? A truly horrible movie. Rumor is, he won't even admit to having been in it when a fan asks about it these days.
(Okay, technically it wasn't his first movie, and it was made for TV, but still it's no less accurate than the facts the article was throwing around....) - SiXiam, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2How dare they dis the 80's....
- ovni, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Yeah, that's a great movie. Not sure what they're talking about.
- Oracle95, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Hardly, those roles made their careers. They may have moved on to bigger, more complex roles, but that movie was playing for years in midnight theaters before those two came into their own. This isn't a case where you find a video and say "They were in that movie?", it's more like their first few good roles got additional attention because of it.
- ohhoe, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2I agree! It's ***** sweet.
- Llanowar, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Not sure why he is being dugg down.
A lot, if not most, male porn stars start off in gay porn. - Falldog, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Hercules in New York?
- MadHarvey, on 09/11/2008, -1/+3Jeepers Creepers is by no means embarrassing. Its not great, but it had potential. The first half is good.
- jezsik, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Good movie? Naw. Great movie! Any kid raised on Popeye cartoons would appreciate the subtleties of this big-screen adventure. Robin Williams does an amazing job.
