- Melodik, on 12/01/2008, -0/+5I thought Be Kind Rewind was enjoyable. It was one of Jack Black's better roles of the past few years, and the "sweding" was hilarious, spot-on, and clever. Overall I thought it was enjoyable and sweet.

Juno, There Will Be Blood, No Country For Old Men, Sweeney Todd are a few that stand out.

- inkswamp, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Zack and Miri Make a Porno was released in the UK so I wonder if the writer just decided it didn't merit inclusion on this list or it was left out because it arrives so late in the year. If it was left out intentionally, then that's unfortunate. IMO, it's one of the funniest movies I've seen in ages and better than many of the films included on the list.

(Same as Twilight.) I wish Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull would just die... or my mind could be altered. And as much as I like to oogle at Daniel Craig, the new Bond movie was bad. D:
- esc27, on 12/01/2008, -1/+3It was a very good movie in how it was made, produced, etc., but in the end the experience watching it was exhausting. The best movie I went to see this year in terms of pure entertainment value was Iron Man.
