- inactive, on 02/28/2008, -12/+364Terminator 2 is the best :).
- robfarrell, on 11/27/2008, -11/+230Christian Bale is the definition of awesome, but can we please stop dragging out movie franchises for the sake of making money?
- luke16, on 02/28/2008, -16/+202"If it ain't got Arnold, it ain't Terminator" - Stephen Hawking
Seriously though, can you imagine someone else stealing Arnie's one liners? And no austrian accent!!! - gametavern, on 02/28/2008, -4/+174Charlie's Angels director... erm... I don't feel so good.
- chris9902, on 02/28/2008, -7/+137no doubt. T1 looks so dated and T3 was just *****. So ***** the new TV doesn't even acknowledge it.
I still think the special effects in T2 are good. These kids now with their Pixar and Shreak will never understand how awesome it was seeing the T-1000 morph out of the floor and stab that guy in the eye. - geoken, on 02/28/2008, -7/+112Please let John Connor use the 'Gun Kata'

- Maccc, on 02/28/2008, -4/+72Just in... Warner Bros. has announced Terminator XVII: Why Won't These Robots Just ***** Die Already.
- imaxami, on 02/28/2008, -2/+65Ummm. No.

The Movie Industry - bjs3171, on 02/28/2008, -9/+63am i the only one who didn't think T3 was so bad?
the show would be OK if Jon didn't have the personality of cardboard. - CaptainMcNerd, on 02/28/2008, -2/+56Fighting between my anger at the bastardization of the Terminator franchise... and my unsettling man-crush on Christian Bale...
- jerrolds, on 02/28/2008, -1/+55I think Christian Bale adds some credibility and hope to this Terminator, but McG as the director....ugh.
- worthone, on 02/28/2008, -0/+44More importantly, can you imagine Hawking saying that quote?
- g30ph, on 02/28/2008, -9/+47TSCC is well on its way to not being renewed for next season. They've done a great job of turning the two main characters into a couple of pussies.
- whiledo, on 03/25/2009, -2/+39Dugg for "Shreak."
- inactive, on 02/28/2008, -4/+36Dugg for "Equilibrium" reference.
- devaka, on 02/28/2008, -9/+41california governor 4 :)
- enclaved, on 02/28/2008, -0/+32You may be right on both counts there, but I'm going to take in as much Summer Glau as I can before that happens.
- Mjuboy, on 02/28/2008, -16/+46Night at the Museum was lame, why would they want to make a sequel?
- H2Glitch2007, on 02/28/2008, -13/+43Not the same without Arnold.
- lyderaly, on 02/28/2008, -2/+28sing it with me, Money money money money........money!
- hexydes, on 02/28/2008, -0/+25Oh well, that's what happens when you (James Cameron) get a divorce and your ex-wife (Linda Hamilton/"Sarah Connor") gains the right to your movie franchise, and then she sells it off to another production company (Carolco Pictures) that doesn't care much about "canon" or "quality", and just wants to make "money".
As Cameron will not be directing this installment either (though he personally recommended McG?!), expect this to be similar in quality, if not style, to the third movie. - falstaff, on 02/28/2008, -1/+26Unless the next movie ignores continuity to the same extent that the TV series has, Sarah is dead.
- HypocriteDigg, on 02/28/2008, -20/+44And I'm guessing it's going to suck 4x as much as T3 did.
- TypeEE, on 02/28/2008, -5/+28Will Lena Headey be Sarah Connor in the the movie? She is hot.
- slvrbullet87, on 02/28/2008, -1/+23Think of T2 like you would the matrix. When it came out it was considered the greatest use of special effects ever, now it doesnt seem all that cool, but if you remember watching it you still get that awe you did the first time.
- inactive, on 02/28/2008, -3/+25The director is *****, movies are a directors medium, nuff said.
- sindex, on 02/28/2008, -1/+22Well, it sounds like it's set where I had hoped T3 would be set - the post-apocalyptic future. That should be visually interesting anyway. Sadly McG is directing, who is about as talented as you'd expect a 3rd rate music video director to be. Then again, it does star Christian Bale, who I must admit pretty much kicks ass in every movie he's in. Sigh... too many variables. This will either be the start of a new kick-ass trilogy in Terminator fandom, or more typical Hollywood drivel that is the reason I only see about 6 movies a year now.
- Klinky, on 02/28/2008, -0/+21I think Linda Hamilton's helmet head of hair also plays a big part in dating it...
- AronT, on 02/28/2008, -20/+40Wrong - The Sarah Connor Chronicles is doing just dandy without him.
- breckinshire, on 02/28/2008, -0/+19"beat up the wife a little"
Weird, we have the same name for our penises. - whoamarcos, on 02/28/2008, -3/+21dundun dun dundun!
- funkytaco, on 02/28/2008, -0/+18In a fight, I think Bale would chuck Norris if Norris didn't bail.
- secondplayer, on 02/28/2008, -2/+19I really doubt Batman is going to let this movie suck.
- klipsch, on 02/28/2008, -2/+19I liked it too. The chase sequence with the crane smashing through the car dealerships was undeniably kick ass. The guy who played John did a decent job. Claire Danes, on the other hand, just phoned it in.
- PleaseJustDie, on 02/28/2008, -0/+17Christian Bale is pure brilliance, he is the only reason why I'm excited for this movie after the 3rd one. If anyone can make a movie to let the franchise end with greatness it is him.
- kinseyincanada, on 02/28/2008, -2/+19we Christian Bale is playing the adult John Connor, so this movie not not even have a Terminator in it, it could just be a movie about an all out epic war against the machines, which ive been hoping for since i was a kid.
- terminal157, on 02/28/2008, -0/+17Yes, and it is awesome.
- inactive, on 02/28/2008, -4/+20Christian bale is a badass. I bet he can easily knock Chuck Norris the ***** out.
- IphtashuFitz, on 02/28/2008, -3/+19I just hope Summer Glau makes an appearance in this movie as a terminator. She's hot!
- inactive, on 02/28/2008, -1/+17Unless you're 12 years old, please die.
- nytejade, on 02/28/2008, -1/+17Did anyone look at the IMDB entry?
Look at the director and writers.
Director's previous efforts: "The Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll", The Charlie's Angels movies
Writer's previous efforts: TERMINATOR 3, The Net 2.0, Watchers 2
I was excited about this when I saw Christian Bale had signed on. It implied he'd done his homework into the crew and his agreement to take part was a stamp of approval of sorts. I guess I was wrong. We're doomed to another crappy Terminator 3-esque lawlfest. Though I have to admit, the Terminator show is DECENT (not great), and it's done by the same guys who did Terminator 3. We'll see how the previews look... - redphone, on 02/28/2008, -3/+19I love that aceakm is too dumb or dumber to get the joke.
- optimusfx, on 02/28/2008, -1/+16The female shape-shifting terminator was kind of lame, but it was pretty good in the sci-fi storyline sense. It was cool to see some of the futuristic combat robots come to fruition and seeing SkyNet come online. It is much like Star Wars Episode 3 leading up to the old trilogy where the Empire is beginning to take shape.
- g30ph, on 02/28/2008, -0/+15I give T3 a 6.5/10. I didn't hate it.
- nickerbocker, on 02/28/2008, -0/+15I don't know what version you were watching but the one I saw was rated R.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103064/ - Ivand, on 02/28/2008, -0/+15McG. For gods sake no
- inactive, on 02/28/2008, -2/+16T1 would have been crap without him. Sadly, he didn't really do anything worthwhile afterward except maybe Predator.
- PleaseJustDie, on 02/28/2008, -0/+13If you watch the special features of Terminator, Arnold wasn't even originally planned to be the Terminator, it wasn't till after he interviewed with James Cameron that they decided he would be better for the Terminator than Kyle Reese. They even reworked a lot of the movie because of the change for that. Arnold made the Terminator what it was. Without him the first two movies would have been completely different and probably no where near as good. That said, he shouldn't have been involved after the first two and they should be much more like how the series is with terminators that look completely different.
- manstein01, on 02/28/2008, -0/+13And before that he worked on music videos...this movie might be to Bale what Batman Forever was to Val Kilmer
