Ten Batman Villains Who Should Never Be On Film
filmschoolrejects.com — Do any of these wacky characters belong in the gritty, realistic world that Christopher Nolan has crafted? Probably not. Here are some of the worst offenders in Batman ’s rogues gallery - all of whom have been judged guilty of being ridiculous.

- akpwnz, on 07/17/2008, -2/+26Kite Man was epic fail.
- shutaro, on 07/18/2008, -0/+7Didn't he make an appearance in a Mega Man game?
- 1807, on 07/18/2008, -17/+4Kite man sounds racist. Couldn't they just have called him Jew Man? or Jesus?
- fanclerks, on 07/18/2008, -1/+7@1807
Please tell me that you're being sarcastic... Nobody can be that stupid. That sounds like some joke from Porky's. - Rotkiv, on 07/18/2008, -1/+41807... that doesn't even make any sense
- zer0nix, on 07/20/2008, -0/+2for the uninitiated: the word 1807 was thinking of is 'kike.'
also, he is an idiot.
- shutaro, on 07/18/2008, -0/+7Didn't he make an appearance in a Mega Man game?
- OtterStratton, on 07/17/2008, -0/+56I dunno, I always thought Scarface was one of the most twisted, sadistic villains in the batman universe. The parallel between him and Wayne of having parents killed, plus the split personalities would make for an epic Nolan-directed film.
For the most part, I believe most of the other villains should be left out, but I do think Bane is a badass.- PixelMagic, on 07/17/2008, -3/+6Say hello to my little friend! What?!?!? You knew someone was going to say it. Why not me?
- Scopitone, on 07/18/2008, -3/+7Scarface is The Godfather for ghetto people.
- punx, on 07/17/2008, -0/+14Yeah I always liked Bane, too. He was looney as hell.
- davidamerland, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Yeah, had a few issues...
- mywhitenoise, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3BANE! LONELY!
Batman & Robin is one of the worst films in history. - ramunenke, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4i like bane too, but B&R did him wrong. Scarface could work maybe.
- Rotkiv, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2just watched B&R for the first time last night, it was hilarious.
B&R + drinking game when a cold pun is spouted from mr. freeze, or anyone for that matter = epicly wasted.
yeah that movie = epic fail. lol
- staticneuron, on 07/18/2008, -3/+1Ass in the nightfall series, a mean bane (that is still human) and the new batman after (azrael) would make for a great story.
And even Robin (nightwing) would be an awesome addition. I know people say he can't fit into the nolanverse but I call BS. With enough creativity anything can be done. - Gerz1219, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4Scarface works in the comics and animated series, but I really don't think audiences could accept a murderous ventriloquist's dummy in live action. No matter how expertly handled, it would elicit unintentional laughs from the audience. The only way around that is to introduce intentional laughs, and then we're already in Batman Forever territory.
The Bane/Nightfall story would work in the Nolanverse, except that doing it properly would require a full living rogue's gallery in the first act. I won't know until tonight whether the Joker, Two-Face, and Scarecrow all survive TDK -- but the Joker can't make another appearance without re-casting and Ra's is already out. - wedges, on 07/18/2008, -0/+6if you thought Scarface was twisted, imagine the Mad Hatter in the Nolanverse... a sick and twisted man who lives in a demented version of a child's fairy-tale... in the comics, he even abducted young girls named Alice and, presumably, raped them. That is ***** dark as *****.
- PixelMagic, on 07/17/2008, -3/+6Say hello to my little friend! What?!?!? You knew someone was going to say it. Why not me?
- subliminali, on 07/17/2008, -6/+15was mr. freeze ever a real batman bad guy or did Arnold have to create the character in order to play someone who could only speak in concise bad puns?
- punx, on 07/17/2008, -0/+38No, Mr. Freeze is a villain, a really good one before that movie destroyed him.
- IphtashuFitz, on 07/18/2008, -0/+6I remember seeing Mr. Freeze in the original 1960's tv show, so his character has been around for a long time.
- mywhitenoise, on 07/18/2008, -1/+4He originated from the TV show, him and that King Tut guy.
- kaleesh, on 07/18/2008, -0/+5whaaa? nope. he started out in Feb 1959... batman #121. and was created by the grand kahuna Bob Kane himself..
- mywhitenoise, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2"From the time of his first appearance in 1958 onward, Mr. Freeze was portrayed as one of many "joke" villains (see also Killer Moth, The Mad Hatter) cast as stock enemies of Batman.[1] Originally called Mr. Zero,[1] the producers of the 1960s Batman television series renamed him Mr. Freeze (and portrayed Batman addressing him as "Dr. Schimmel"),[1] and the name quickly carried over to the comic books."
We're both right...you're a little righter.
- leftBelow, on 07/18/2008, -0/+25Check out "Batman: The Animated Series" for an example of how they successfully intrepreted the Mr Freeze character. Arnold's Mr. Freeze was a sad attempt to bring that version to the screen.
- punx, on 07/18/2008, -0/+8Yeah, The Animated Series was the best. I liked Mr. Freeze because even though he was a villain, he was still likable, trying so hard to bring his wife back. You could still empathize with him.
- kaleesh, on 07/18/2008, -0/+6some of the saddest episodes of BTAS were those with Mr. Freeze in them. Don't forget Batman : Subzero the movie :)
- punx, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4kaleesh, that was a great movie, and (off subject) so was Mask of the Phantasm. The Joker was great in that. Mark Hamill did a really good job with that part.
- Elranzer, on 07/18/2008, -0/+16Batman: The Animated Series did *EVERY* villain correctly. The animated Mad Hatter was more threatening than the movie version Mr. Freeze.
- curiousgrge, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1I always thought that Mr. Freeze was more The Flash's arch nemesis than Batman. But then again I haven't picked up a comic book in ages.
- yukeake, on 07/18/2008, -0/+0Wasn't the Flash's version called "Captain Cold" or something equally lame?
- Logrusmage, on 07/18/2008, -1/+0Yep. All of Flash's villain's except for Gorilla Grod suck the big wazoo.
- musicmaverick, on 07/18/2008, -0/+9lmao at crazy quilt. "This is what happens when you’re last in line at the costume store, you get stuck being Crazy Quilt."
- JigoroKano, on 07/18/2008, -1/+99Clay Face was ***** awesome. Take it back.
- Sabretou, on 07/18/2008, -2/+6It's just that if he comes into the movie, people will think he's a Sandman rip-off. :(
- cesclaveria, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2they share similarities, but if they focus on the fact that he became a monster that can shape shift, it can be done without drawing too much sandman parallels
- Elranzer, on 07/18/2008, -0/+5That's too bad, sine Sandman is more of a rip-off of Clayface.
Clayface is pretty damn old, actually. He started off as a parody of Boris Karloff, who could shift his face around (hence the "FACE" in his name). Future Clayfaces could change their whole body.
- Inflammo, on 07/18/2008, -3/+14Clayface looks a bit like the poop monster from Dogma...
- Trax91, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4Clayface would differ from Sandman with his Face-shifting abilities.
Clayface will rock the next Batman movie. - m4szyman, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Clayface was cool but Nolan hates CG so he won't be on film any time soon (unless someone else makes the next batman in which case probably I wouldn't wanna see it anyway)
- Elranzer, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2If they used the original Clayface in which only his face could change, then it wouldn't require any CGI nor would be a "rip-off" of Sandman.
- Sabretou, on 07/18/2008, -2/+6It's just that if he comes into the movie, people will think he's a Sandman rip-off. :(
- Jonathunder, on 07/18/2008, -0/+9CALCULATOR FTW!
- kaleesh, on 07/18/2008, -0/+5I totally agree.. The world shall shake before the awesomenss of “The Calculator”. He will be joined by “The Thermodynamics Textbook”, “The Liquid Paper” and his ladyfriend “The Pink Highlighter”!!!
- Trigononamous, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Oh please. Everyone know if you're going for old-school villains, Abacus-man's where it's at - - and his sidekick Slide Rule.
- leonidas333, on 07/18/2008, -5/+59I tell you who should be the next villain: the Riddler.
No not in the camp Jim Carey way.
As in the sadistic Saw master mind
i.e. Solve this riddle or a bear trap explodes in your jaw type of thing.
Now that would be awesome- mcfara, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1Exactly what I was thinking. I mean, who else are they going to go to...Penguin?
- alexra, on 07/18/2008, -1/+2the riddler would be perfect for the next batman movie
- Lynxplus, on 07/18/2008, -3/+4so basically SAW?
- Cowboy1015, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4No.
SAW V
- Cowboy1015, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4No.
- iamnobody8614, on 07/18/2008, -2/+2Bear traps explode?
- mywhitenoise, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1Yup, all the best villians have been taken already, Catwoman, Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler...too bad half of them were in really bad movies.
Like the person who posted above, Scarface could work. - CaptMonkey, on 07/18/2008, -0/+8David Tennant has said that he would love to play the Riddler in a Batman movie. Honestly, I can't think of anyone who would be more suited for the role.
- Elranzer, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1John Glover, who played Riddler in the Animated Series, as well as Lionel Luther in Smallville, would be the one and only working Riddler for Nolan. He also was unfortunate enough to be a cameo in Batman & Robin as Dr. Woodrow.
- knobidy, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2Although I agree that he could play the role, I think he is too old for this modern incarnation of Batman.
- Elranzer, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1He's one of those actors who defy age. If Ian McKellen can play Magneto, John Glover (now in his 60s) could play a convincing Riddler in his 40s.
- thestranger, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1I think so too, but not in the Saw way. I think Rainn Wilson (if he is an good an actor as he seems to be), would be a good fit as the riddler.
As for the list Scarface and Clayface would make good villains for the next movie. I mean look at Scarecrow, two-face, and Joker, they don't look good on paper with Nolan's vision. - im2emo4myshrt, on 07/18/2008, -3/+2Have you seen the movie yet? It ends with the creation of two face. I am pretty sure they are setting up to use him in the sequel.
- Logrusmage, on 07/18/2008, -2/+1What the hell are you talking about? You obviously haven't seen the movie. Two Face can't be the villain for the third one...
- im2emo4myshrt, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Why can't he?
- ajbl, on 07/19/2008, -0/+1SPOILER:
Umm... Harvey Dent dies - im2emo4myshrt, on 07/19/2008, -1/+1SPOILER:
They show him fall, they never show him defiantly dead. I mean one guy was shot and he was still alive. Plus it's two face how could he already be dead. - ajbl, on 07/21/2008, -0/+0They have a funeral. And Gordon was a set up for the joker...
- theadvinci, on 07/18/2008, -3/+1#9 - Damn how I hated this one. I don't know why. Actually none of Batman villians make sense... so you could just have posted "none of them".
- welliwonder, on 07/18/2008, -0/+13Why not Clayface or the Mad Hatter??
- mlvassallo, on 07/18/2008, -1/+16Um, Clay Face would be cool.
- kaleesh, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3"The Batman" has the coolest version of Clayface :). very tragic to see even for a kids show.
- whahaa, on 07/18/2008, -3/+1i dunno who the villain might be exactly but $10 says the next film will be a heavily adapted Dark Knight Returns.
- bundwallah, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1I would love to see the Dark Knight Returns done as a movie with no major changes. I don't think the time is right to do it though. The storyline premise is that Batman has not been seen or heard from for years. An older gritty actor would have to play Batman. (I always envisioned Clint Eastwood from his Heartbreak Ridge days as an older Batman). Bale is still interested in doing Batman movies so no need to jump too far ahead.
I don't think it will ever be made. It will have to live on its' own as a great graphic novel.- whahaa, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1you are correct, DKR takes place in a time where batman has been retired for 10 years. however, going by how BB adapted Year One, and how TDK adapted The Long Halloween, i don't see why nolan can't lay the same treatment on DKR. instead of 10 years it can be 2 or 3 years. take superman out of it. replace joker with another villain. essentially, keep the themes while changing nearly everything else, which seems to be what nolan likes to do.
SPOILER ALERT:
at the end of TDK they vilify batman and drive him into hiding. that, along with the title itself, is the obviously perfect setup for DKR.
- whahaa, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1you are correct, DKR takes place in a time where batman has been retired for 10 years. however, going by how BB adapted Year One, and how TDK adapted The Long Halloween, i don't see why nolan can't lay the same treatment on DKR. instead of 10 years it can be 2 or 3 years. take superman out of it. replace joker with another villain. essentially, keep the themes while changing nearly everything else, which seems to be what nolan likes to do.

- leerayIG88, on 07/18/2008, -0/+6Calculator man...watch me as a mystify you with pi!
- ssjbriguy, on 07/19/2008, -0/+2You could kill him by making him divide by zero or do the square root of a negative number.
- pitchblack16, on 07/18/2008, -2/+3man bat, clayface and mad hatter should definitely be in the movies, man bat can get a great storyline going too
- mywhitenoise, on 07/18/2008, -2/+1Dude, those would suck!
Why not add Killer Croc and make a CG infested sci-fi crap of a film?- bagboyrebel, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1The only people who complain that much about CG are just trying to be cool. CG used properly can and does look really good.
- mywhitenoise, on 07/18/2008, -1/+2"The only people who complain that much about CG are just trying to be cool."
that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. - bagboyrebel, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1would you care to refute my comment instead of just calling it dumb. CG looks just fine for what it's used for, and it works better than makeup or props for a lot of different effects.
- mywhitenoise, on 07/18/2008, -2/+1Dude, those would suck!
- dgaspard, on 07/18/2008, -5/+1Personally... I wish they would come up with a new villian
- BSeffrood, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2This has only successfully happened once outside of the comics, and that was the Clock King from the cartoon.
- Adrianne, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3What about Harley Quinn?
- BSeffrood, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Yeah forgot about her too.
- Adrianne, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3What about Harley Quinn?
- BSeffrood, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2This has only successfully happened once outside of the comics, and that was the Clock King from the cartoon.
- razorfine, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Can't argure about most of the list, but Man-Bat could be pretty cool if they ever did a Batman horror flick. Same could be said for Clayface III.
- m4szyman, on 07/18/2008, -2/+7Killer Croc almost made the list?
I actually think Killer Croc would be awesome in one of Nolans Batman movies. Think about it, a guy who had a skin disease and was in the circus then turned into a serial killer/cannibal who hangs around in the sewers - pretty cool if you ask me. Killer Croc was cool in the Gothan Knight anime that just came out and he would totally fit the dark Batman films that Nolan has been making, he is one of those characters that (given the right actor and script) could work really well, even as just a secondary villain.- sublimeslime, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1But why settle for Killer Croc when you can have Bane. A man who is obsessed with beating Bats just to prove he's better. You add in the fact he's a pretty smart guy and he actually succeeds and you have a character who would snap Croc like a twig.
- IphtashuFitz, on 07/18/2008, -2/+2Wow, I'm really out of it as far as comics go. I only recognized one of those villains.
- morninglorii, on 07/18/2008, -1/+2Honestly... I feel like if Nolan and Heath Ledger hadn't done such a great job reinventing the Joker, he would belong on this list as well.
- savethehobos, on 07/18/2008, -6/+0We're you expecting a quirky kind of Joker like Jack Nicholson brought to the silver screen.
I have to completely disagree with your statement. Everyone is entitled to an opinion esspecially when it comes to film, but Heath nailed the Joker's complete insanity and lack of care for human life. His little twitches he brought out as well. The constantly smacking of the lips and licking his lips as if he's always gotta be doing something. Completely changed his voice through the whole thing to sound something of what a crazy clown thats bent on killing everything might sound like. Joker is Batman's most fearsome enemy, and they explained it in the movie quite well I thought. He just wants there to be chaos. No order. Which means he wants nothing.
How can you say that the Joker's persona wasn't captured and reinvented with this new installment? I really want to hear why.- Feanor, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4Dude, he said he DOES feel like they did a great job reinventing him.
- Halsfield, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3he was saying that before the movie was announced with the joker in it, the same kind of arguments made against having the mad hatter, clayface, etc, could be made against having the joker as a villain. he did not say anywhere that ledger did a bad job.
- morninglorii, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1I feel like you were reading another comment entirely :(
- Asianwaste, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Read Killing Joke, but the same guy who wrote Watchmen. The Joker is hardly the "Clown Prince of Crime" that he is reputed to be. He is now the human embodiment of chaos and contempt for order and humanity. He will come up with very elaborate ways just to mess with someone's life in some of the must ***** up ways possible.
- savethehobos, on 07/18/2008, -6/+0We're you expecting a quirky kind of Joker like Jack Nicholson brought to the silver screen.
- wing05, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Along that line, Superman and the Justice League don't belong in Nolan's world either.
I do like the fact that this incarnation of Batman is merely a little stretch of our real world as compared to the wrap around reality of the comics and the cartoons, (Smallville, I'm looking at you). - andyd273, on 07/18/2008, -0/+14Clayface in the animated series was pretty cool. Basically (if I'm remembering correctly) something of a shape shifter that could look like anyone, could form giant weapons out of his hands... Actually, now that I think about it, Clayface in Batman TAS was a clay version of the T1000... though with human emotions instead of cold machine logic.
- WarMachineWCLH, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1You are correct. And you know who should play movie Clayface? Ron Perlman for two reasons. 1) Ron Perlman is awesome 2) He was the voice of Clayface in TAS
- reverendshort, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2A few of these could be interesting in the new batman series. I think they could be recreated in a new disturbing way. I really like Mad Hatter, clayface, scarface, and manbat. Manbat actually has a really interesting story. I think if it were not for the Batman begins the scarecrow would have also been added to this list. I mean if you think about it, the joker is really pretty lame in concept but, when he is delivered he is actually an interesting character.
Kind of a dumb list but, I dugg it anyway so I could state my thoughts.- sublimeslime, on 07/18/2008, -1/+0Joker is an awesome character.
- vinceislegend, on 07/18/2008, -8/+2Slightly irrelevant, but this needs to be said:
Having seen TDK, and judging it as best I can from an unbiased perspective:
Give Heath an Oscar. - TomT223, on 07/18/2008, -3/+0Penguin. Oops. Too late.
- IphtashuFitz, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3What about Egg Head, portrayed by Vincent Price in the 1960s tv show? Or King Tut for that matter...
- groonk, on 07/18/2008, -1/+9i couldn't be bothered with that list cause the rampant stench of fanboy was too ***** intense. that and they dissed Clayface, Man-Bat, and Mad Hatter. i saw B:TAS. i know they could work.
- sublimeslime, on 07/18/2008, -0/+5Points to you! I liked the Mad Hatter episode where he has Batman in his dream thingy, that was trippy.
- Adrianne, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Mad Hatter was always one of my favorites.
I would like to see them move away from the characters that have already been in movies like they did with Scarecrow. I nearly wet myself from excitement when I saw him in the first movie.
However, I feel that it might be worth it if I could see Paul Williams play the Penguin. He did the voice on the animated series and if you have ever seen him he's like 4 feet tall and perfect looking for the part.
- LumberingOaf, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Pardon me for totally geeking out here, but Killer Croc is on the Batman: Gotham Knight DVD/Blu-ray disc that just came out (which if you're a fan, you should definitely check out, as it bridges the two movies), so he could possibly show up in the 3rd movie.
As for Mr. Freeze, if they had Patrick Stewart play him, that would be pretty cool (sorry about the pun, couldn't help it).- savethehobos, on 07/18/2008, -0/+0Mr. Freeze is russian im pretty sure. Which is partly the reason why Arnold played him the first time around was because of the eastern european accent.
- stafa786, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1What about 10 batman villains that would be great on film?
- sublimeslime, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Azrael. I want to see Azrael in the crazy batsuit with the ridiculous gatling gun style batarang shooter and spikey claws.
- collegekidd, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Robin!
- Adrianne, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1***** that.
Nightwing!
- Adrianne, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1***** that.
- BryanG412, on 07/18/2008, -0/+8Clayface was ***** awesome.
- cbrunet, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4Its funny, Killer Croc is on his list, but he's actually a villain in Batman: Gotham Knight, the animated Animatrix-like movie set between Batman Begins and Dark Knight. So, technically, I guess, he is in the Nolanverse already.
- juniorb, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1That image at the top of the article is ***** great. Can anyone tell me where that's from? It's that from the comics or the cartoon?
- mercano, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1I believe its from the end of Clayface's premier two-parter on The Animated Series.
- danmarek, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3Buried for horrible writing.
- Owwmykneecap, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2thanks for shrinking my browser, i love it when sites do that.
Its not annoying at all. - juniorb, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1That image at the top of the article is ***** great. Can anyone tell me where that's from? It's that from the comics or the cartoon?
- juniorb, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Sorry for the double post. My internet connection is crapping out.
- hpvforum, on 07/18/2008, -7/+2Top 10 Things that are going to SUCK about the Dark Knight
http://digg.com/movies/Top_5_Things_that_are_going ... - ZenMojo, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2First, the Calculator was always that awesome. Second, he just had that stupid costume holding him back.
Irony of ironies, the best way to use the Calculator in the Nolan Verse is to use the modern version of the Calculator.
On honorable mentions:
Killer Croc: Is awesome. Watch Gotham Knights, the animated spin-off of The Dark Knight movie, and it's clear that a good Killer Croc can work. The original and 90's and early 00's Killer Croc is just a 300-pound bruiser with a skin condition.
Bane: NEEDS TO BE DONE. Why is it that the Animated Series can get these characters right so effortlessly but the movies keep screwing stuff up. Is it directorial arrogance or ignorance? Don't know. - tkhan456, on 07/18/2008, -0/+8I'm going to have to say Clayface, the Ventriloquist, and The Mad Hatter were badass bad guys so this guy can go screw himself.
- abran1984, on 07/18/2008, -7/+1Dude, people are paying $100 a ticket to see the Dark Knight...wtf??
http://digg.com/movies/BREAKING_FANS_PAYING_100_A_ ...- Acglaphotis, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Spam isn't cool.
- gipp, on 07/18/2008, -0/+0General sounds pretty badass to me, actually. Although it could be kind of tough to fit it in Nolan Batman, I'll agree.
- Asianwaste, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2I was talking with my buddy and he actually thought of a decent way to "Nolanize" the Riddler. He could be a B villain (in the lines of Scarecrow losing the spotlight to Ra's) where he is a computer hacker who is sabotaging Wayne Enterprise's resources but leaves cryptic messages in every attack.

Clayface has a great story from the animated series, which easily fits into the mob vs. super villain world that the new films have gone towards. Do I necessarily think it should be throw into the series right now....no. But I wouldn't be disappointed to hear they were thinking of using him.
Odds of this happening however are slim to none.
Would love to see the "Beware the Gray Ghost" storyline used in the live action movies. This will also never happen though. - allisonaxe, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3I would LOVE to see Scarface as the main villain in a batman movie. I think it'd be a great way to cap off the series, to have the villain be another broken man whose parents were killed, and dealing with it in a very different way from Bruce Wayne. they could also rewrite it that the ventriloquist's father was the mobster Marconi that Batman has been crusading against in the movies, thus making it that much more of a grudge against batman: he could blame batman for his parent's death, in the same way that batman blames the general attitude of crime in Gotham for his own situation.
- davemerican, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Theres much worse than the ones on this list. The Minstrel, The Clock King (with the power of punctuality), The Bookworm, and The Archer all come to mind
- elithebest, on 07/18/2008, -1/+2***** you, I like Clayface.
- LunaticFringe, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Clayface from the animated series scarred me for life.
- Slayerdude51982, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Yeah ummmm this is list is just a tad inaccurate for the fact clayface and mad hatter is on here, probably some of the best of the minor villains in the batman universe, hands down.
Also wtf is up with all the freakin batman list lately? I'm looking forward to seeing the dark knight as much as the next but we don't need 2 or 3 top batman list a day. - Darksoul, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Yeah well you can ***** off for the Clayface comment. Nothing wrong actually done right it would make a very good movie and hes a fool for saying that *****.
- chaos7, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1next time put the images below the numbers in your list
- JakeyG14, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1To reiterate my last comment:
"Bane would be awesome. People need to realise that the sycophantic moron that followed Poison Ivy about in the Crapman films wasn't the real Bane.

Look at this clip (especially 3:09) to see how the real Bane isn't just glamourised hired muscle." -
