The F4 movie made money simply because of Jessica Alba's boobs. (hopefully they've taught the cast to act and the director to direct for the 2nd one.)

Nightwing means that Grayson has grown up and left the side of Batman and is his own man now. Nightwing is a badass so hopefully they can make this movie well. I'm not sure about the writer though, Timecop isn't exactly something I would use as a selling point. The should get Wolfman to help out with the script since he pretty much wrote what is considered the best Titans material.

I enjoy the effect it's had on the Timm/Dini animated productions for DC Comics, and Avatar is an example of taking the techniques and adapting what is usually lacking from Japanese Anime (at least for me): plot and coherency. Even die-hard fans have to admit that a ton of anime is like American action films in that it's all an excuse to see stuff blow up in close proximity to hot babes with a bunch of martial arts thrown in.
And yes, I know the comic book was there first. However, I have a sinking feeling which influences the producers are going to pick, don't you?
But the Teen Titans cartoon tries to be, I dunno, what's the word? Kwai? From the Japanese-accent theme song (which is brain-melting) to the unnecessary emotion signals (the sweat drop, the plus sign on the temple, the chibi versions of the characters at random moments... c'mon, we have facial expressions and voice inflection for a reason; your entire audience is NOT autistic). It's like reading a webcomic where some kid from Illinois thinks its cool to draw demon-fighting Sailor suit girls with "badly translated" dialogue that you have to read from right to left.
