And the soldiers look like stormtroopers :P

He poured $40,000 into it with his own money because it was an INDEPENDENT film, meaning he was free to write and direct the film as he wished without having studio interference. The film was released for free so that fellow fans could enjoy it (think of it as creating something for the community and not for any sort of self-gain). Personally, I found it cheesy. But you have to give props for the production design.
In an effort to undermine the movie, you decided to put cocky quotation marks around the word "film." I don't give a ***** how much this movie makes, I'm simply saying this guy can't direct without a pile of cash, which means he's a bad director. He's rich, so instead of being creative, he just buys himself masks and toys which don't help the ***** movie out at all.
And, by the way, this --for sure-- won't get wide release. It looks like a slow, boring, piece of *****, just like Batman: Dead End.

- davelog, on 04/07/2009, -9/+1Not to take anything away from Wreath Ledger's performance - it was very cool - but Boner NAILED the Joker in Dead End. Say what you will about Collora, but he truly captured the Joker that ran rampant through my head as a kid reading Batman comics.
