- vpotok, on 11/03/2009, -7/+46looks terrible...
- gregatron, on 11/03/2009, -1/+29I wish Romero could make another great zombie movie. He invented the genre but cant seem to keep up with what it has become.
- dha07030, on 11/03/2009, -0/+17Dawn of the Dead 2004 was directed by Zack Snyder.
- metalgel, on 11/03/2009, -2/+17Meh.
- funkboy27, on 11/03/2009, -0/+15Then it stood back up and walked around for a while
- ZigZagZilla, on 11/03/2009, -1/+16Is Lucasing a word?
- phildawg, on 11/03/2009, -0/+14DID I JUST SEE A ZOMBIE RIDING A HORSE?
god. romero is just embarrassing himself, he should have stopped after Day. "After the dawn, after the day, after the land, after the diary, comes some more slop" - aandkh, on 11/03/2009, -3/+14The first zombie movie ever was a social commentary. The ones without them are stupid
- Pensi, on 11/03/2009, -0/+9I thought the screenshot was a zombie blowjob which lead me to think this had something to do with zombie porn.
- JDLamb88, on 11/03/2009, -0/+8He thinks the zombie genre is still about OMG LOL VIOLENCE but Shaun of the Dead, 28 days/weeks later, even Zombieland have shown us that it can be much more.
- PunkRampant, on 11/03/2009, -0/+8Interesting movie, but I got distracted by sexy motivational posters.
- OMGSocialism, on 11/03/2009, -0/+7Zombies eat head, not give it.
- mike42979, on 11/03/2009, -1/+7WTF is that?
- BaddBrainz, on 11/02/2009, -8/+14The Grandfather/KING of the Zombie is back!
- andrewh7, on 11/03/2009, -2/+8Land of the dead was good. Diary of the dead was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. You must be ***** crazy. Terrible story, terrible actors. Awful ***** movie. I wasted $9 bucks on Diary and sneaked into Jumper next door immediately when it was over because I felt the theater had cheated me.
- Redmo0n, on 11/03/2009, -1/+7Why did the zombie put his mouth on the nozzle of the fire extinguisher? Why did a zombie pick up explosives and murmur "huh?" Retarded. After zombies that can run, normal walking zombies seem less terrifying.
- Brodie321, on 11/03/2009, -1/+6That's the whole point of the zombie genre...
- DeadpoolPHP, on 11/03/2009, -2/+7The original Dawn of the Dead is much better than the remake.
- JDLamb88, on 11/03/2009, -0/+5If the last couple are any indication of how good this one will (or will not) be, then I have low expectations. George Romero created the zombie genre then killed it.
- evilresident, on 11/03/2009, -0/+4... How is anybody excited for this??
the special effects looked cheesy.
and the zombie giving oral to a fire extinguisher is weird. - andrewh7, on 11/03/2009, -2/+6Trouble yourself to check imdb for three seconds dip *****. Romero doesn't make every zombie movie out there.
- MPKFA, on 11/03/2009, -1/+4Romero finally lost me with that trailer.. Diary sucked. Land was weak.. Day was his last good one and it isn't even great.
- Cloned, on 11/03/2009, -0/+3George Romero created the genre and will always be credited with it, but it's like a child who grew up and the parent still thinks they knows what's best for it. I hate to say that zombies have outgrown him, this trailer and some of his recent movies show that.
- dha07030, on 11/03/2009, -2/+5Dawn of the Dead 2004 toned it down and is one the better zombie movies. I understand that the genera is inherently like that but it does not need to be exaggerated like Romero does in Land of the Dead.
- DjOverEZ, on 11/03/2009, -2/+5He made "Diary of the Dead" after Land of the Dead. Though not amazing, much better than Land.
- RobotBuddha, on 11/03/2009, -0/+3Well, of his specific area of the zombie genre. I'd go so far as to say that despite giving birth to the new zombies, he's one of the very few who uses social commentary.
- Vostok, on 11/03/2009, -0/+3This is just the same movie he's been making for years, doesn't look like anything new, and in fact looks worse.
- cyrix, on 11/03/2009, -0/+3Sure why not. We've added the phrase "nuke the fridge" to our repertoire. Lucasing is just as appropriate.
- EvilDeadAsh, on 11/03/2009, -0/+3i was about to ask the same damn thing. yup, it was a zombie riding a ***** horse. yikes.
- ZigZagZilla, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2I think nuking the fridge is a perfect example of Lucasing.
- RobotBuddha, on 11/03/2009, -1/+3I quite liked land, even if it was the low point of the series. I think he was coming from a pretty solid place in terms of the message, but the different nature of the movie got in the way.
- reyoo30309, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Ah, Monkey Shines the standard of which all horror movies should be judged.
- flyinfoofighter, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Something Something Dead
- reyoo30309, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Dude, you were double cheated Jumper is no gem.
- nambio, on 11/03/2009, -1/+3Didn't think I would skip through the trailer. I love the Living Dead movies, but this just didn't capture my attention.
- gankige, on 11/03/2009, -3/+5I'm excited to see this. I was a little disappointed with "Land of the Dead". Hopefully he comes back and kicks ass with this one.
- falconear, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Do they though? Or is the slow, plodding relentless wave coming at you have genuine terror in a whole different way? I like the running zombies too...except they don't make as much sense.
- Pushkin, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Hmm, strange title. Thought it was about the averted demise of promo trailer videos
- TheBlackDart, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Day of the Dead is an amazing movie as well. The original Day of the Dead. Much better film than 28 Days Later or 28 Weeks Later.
- DrMilkdad, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Kinda reminds me of a zombie western. Which would be awesome.
- zionoe, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Nice way to end the story after a horror start...
- sedatedbylife, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1So after you watched Jumper did you sneak into another movie out of spite also?
Reminds me of the time I took a girl on a first date to go see Ultraviolet. We shortly left that movie then stopped into a few other movies, each one was worse than the one before. It came down between Date movie and Dave Chappelles Block party. Sadly I ended up sitting through Date movie. I should have realized we were doomed from the start. - reyoo30309, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Actually it really wasn't. Many people have ask George about that. And according to him he hired that black guy because he was the best guy for the job, nothing more and nothing less.
- shipwreck58, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1Cised!
- reyoo30309, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1I heard that it has some three stooges inspired comedy in it...
that does not bode well. - EndouOuto, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Land of the dead was awful. Theres no way zombies could've crossed the river, they would be swept down river by the currents.
- reyoo30309, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1I like both honestly. But they make for a very different horror movie.
One is essentially an undead plague that leaves you with no where to run the other is more of an adrenalin rush that makes for a better action/ horror movie. - reyoo30309, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Its been all down hill ever since Monkey Shines...
- falconear, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1I think they're all in continuity with each other. I think Romero's zombieverse is like the Marvel universe. No matter that it started in 1962 (or in Romero's case 1968) it's always 10-12 years old.
- reyoo30309, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Zombies never stop its their defining quality.
