It's cheaper, most are double features and you can bring your own snacks. The one in San Jose allowed you to move screens so you could see what you wanted. We took our son when he was two months old and have been going almost weekly since.

Most of the advertising for the movie doesn't actually mention that 300 was based on a historical event, it mainly says it is based on a graphic novel. I was hoping that most people knew it was a historical event and didn't need to be told.
