The spiderman movies haven't been mere "2 hour entertainment then forget about it" movies. They've had concrete plots, solid acting, a believable story (as much as can be), and... well.. they work. Now Spider-man gets more villains, and its an even deeper look into the evolution of the title character. Go figure. Simply awesome.

Spider-Man has to get rid of the symbiote suit before Eddie Brock finds it, and there are two other villains (Hobgoblin and Sandman) that he has to take out during he course of the movie. With the whole "man vs. self" theme that the trailers are conveying, I have a feeling Venom will only briefly be present toward the end.
This is all speculation of course. For all I know, Venom could find the suit in the first 10 minutes of the movie. - Wolfbeta, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No way this is a real movie poster.
So many glaring issues with the reflection. The rain looks like someone followed a Photoshop tutorial on "how to make rain" It's way to flat and one dimensional. The Yellow in the second one serves no purpose and looks really bad. Yellow has never been a dominant colour in the series so I see no reason for it to be plastered on the poster like that. It also mutes the effect of the original. - calvinosaurus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2damn... They went nutso with the airbrushing on that photo.
As for the Spiderman 3 posters; I prefer the first one. Seeing stuff with the second one's color scheme on the subway just reminds me of how grimy the environment that I'm in is. - rakaur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I manage a movie theater, and we have already received some of these posters. I haven't see either of these, but the earlier one of just the black suit. They're pretty nice looking.
It's a shame it's published by Sony. Sony puts all kinds of restrictions on their movies so that theater employees and people with complimentary passes can't watch them for the first two weeks they're at any given theater.

- cosmid, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Also the reflection of Spiey's boots or 'socks' are wrong. The squares at the top are shorter in the reflective surface. I thought the costumes were different, but in the picture on the bottom, the colors are just swapped. Call me picky, but it stuck out right away.
