/Team America voice - JYoungest1, on 07/09/2009, -1/+35They shot that in my tiny hometown of Decatur, Illinois. Everyone said Matt was a great guy he would go to the local bars and wear a hat so no one recognized him but he would bring people over and talk, he just wanted to lay low. He also went jogging like every morning and would talk to people all over. Its nice to see a real person behind someone behind all the hollywood *****.

- CaptObvious, on 07/09/2009, -0/+10I'm ***** Matt Damon.
- rossisdead, on 07/09/2009, -1/+11I seriously hope Scott Bakula's first line is "Oh boy!"
- thenameisfinger, on 07/09/2009, -1/+10How sad that Soderbergh is known only as the director of Ocean's 11, 12, and 13. It's too bad that people haven't seen or don't remember Sex, Lies, and Videotape, Out of Sight, or Traffic.
- inactive, on 07/09/2009, -3/+12looks awesome, and Ben is not in it, so I think we're safe
- schtick01101, on 07/09/2009, -0/+8He's ***** Matt Damon.
- JYoungest1, on 07/09/2009, -0/+7Actually here is a couple of pictures from when he was in Decatur, he was at the mall and the film crew was trying to make him leave and he told them no and came over and talked with us

- Libertaire, on 07/09/2009, -0/+5Dugg for Scott Bakula.
- bboyjkang, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4Damon is one hardworking guy
"He was required to lose 40 pounds (18 kg) in 100 days (for only two days of filming). After following a self-prescribed diet and fitness regimen to lose the weight, Damon was told after filming that he was fortunate his heart did not shrink. Damon took medication for several years afterwards to correct the stress inflicted on his adrenal gland, and has stated that it was worthwhile to properly portray his character and show the industry how committed he was to the role"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Damon#Early_year ...
"Matt has the propensity to go the extra mile to get into the skin of the character that he is playing. For the role of Rudy Baylor in The Rainmaker, he went to Tennessee and tended a bar there to hear the stories of the townspeople. He also attended some college football games. Matt fainted on the sets of Courage Under Fire, where he played a junkie, because of the effort he put in to lose 40 pounds. He ran 12 miles a day, and ate nothing but boiled chicken and potatoes"

- ShiftyBizniss, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2Our step-mom, we did everything to hate 'er. She took us down to the edge of Decatur.
- chris4404, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2According to Slashfilm hes planning to.
- babyheadout, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2Depending how well this movie does, Hollywood might start adapting other TAL episodes like The Ghost Of Bobby Dunbar....wait....that was already kinda done in The Changeling.
- inactive, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1yeah the Girlfriend Experience looked incredibly awful!!
- keysersozejr, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1Let the guy get some pubes first, jeez....

- N01SE, on 07/09/2009, -1/+2If only more execs would turn informant and blow the whistle.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Whitacre - jbmcb, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1My favorite is the the House on Loon Lake. It wouldn't make a good movie, though, as the ending rather anti-climatic. The studios would probably give it to Shyamalan and he'd bring in aliens or something...
- blueswannabe, on 07/09/2009, -1/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWTzyU5MFgM
- keysersozejr, on 07/11/2009, -0/+1He shot it dark on purpose and with available light in an attempt to imitate life as it really plays out, plus the whole metaphor of 'the shadows' of society where the GFE women and business exist.
Acapolypto and Che' were shot on Red and looked amazing so it I guess its how you use the technology. If GFE was shot on film wouldn't it have been filled with noise, shooting in available light? - constantine111, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1dugg for buster and tom poppa
- jbmcb, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1That's one of my favorite episodes. It's got the FBI mafia story in it as well, doesn't it?
- keysersozejr, on 07/09/2009, -1/+2Dugg for being shot with Red Camera and Lenses. Jim 'freakin' Jannard baby, that's right you just heard me say Jim Jannard...baby!
