Yes. Yes you are. It was all written by Frank Miller so it must have been your mind. - drlha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17"I'm hoping we'll start in late spring. It gets pretty hot in Austin, so there might be a summer's interruption there, but both Robert and I really want to be shooting this thing as soon as possible."
So the title "Sin City 2 Begins Filming" is inaccurate then? Still at least its inaccurate in the linked story as well, not just the Digg title. - wphj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17The characters were great, although I never quite look at Frodo the same way again...
- KlayBorg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15This is brilliant. One can only hope it is as good as the original. I wonder how many characters, if any, will make an appearance. Good to hear Jessica Alba will be cast again :P
- wphj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Technically... That was the most useless nitpicking comment I've ever read. WHO CARES.
- picturesnstuff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@Battleloser
You probably thought that because the film script was a composition of several of the Sin City graphic novels. There was indeed more than one separate story which they put together to form the one screenplay.
I felt it was done well but I'd read them beforehand so my judgment is biased... - chemicalpink, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@picturesnstuff
I saw the movie first and loved it so much I read the graphic novels. I also think it was done extremely well. Probably one of the most accurate "book to movie" adaptations. - NeutrinoQ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Did anyone else read: "Sim City 2 begins filming"
- bIuebonics, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7as long as devon aoki is in it, i'm happy :)
- dataminer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'm glad Mickey Rourke is in this. He was perfect as Marv.
- tsunamisteve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Ok but next time you kill someone in WoW remember that all you did was push some buttons that executed some code that turned a 1 into a 0.
- vednode, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I read 'Sim City 2' instead of Sin City. I was hoping for some construction action.
- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Is Angelina Jolie in this one? I remember reading something about they delayed it for her...
cool, Danny Trejo is attached. should be interesting. - Retsudo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@krymore
Prequels? - dudefather, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2no llamas were hurt in the making of Sim city 2
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ah, that makes sense. I haven't read the graphic novels. =(
- jsdratm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I thought I saw that too lol. I was wondering what on earth they would put into a film like that. :D
- SeenD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was reading something more awkward.
I thought it said, The Sims 2... I was like? uh wtf...
but oh well... i really liked Sin City... so i'm happy... :D - Dougcope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458481/
- omega86yu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Whaddaya know... I guess it happened then ;)
- hiney, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Awesome! I love how you can build your own city!!
- tony11572, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Give me more Jessica Albaaa. ;]
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Didn't he die? If I remember right, Dwight was the only one of the 3 protagonists alive at the end of the movie.
- TheProtested, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1agh, itll be delayed again they've been waiting for Angelina Jolie to sigh on and she still hasn't last time i checked. The movie wont start filming for like another year, or until they give up on Jolie
- EGOvoruhk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I wish they would have picked someone other than Alba. Her character was supposed to be topless in the first one like she was in the comic book, but she didn't have the balls to do it. I would have gladly sat through and watched some terrible actress just to see some more tit...I mean just to see the integrity of the comic book kept
- pegisys, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I heard they replaced her with Rachel Weisz
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Erm, Sin City is live-action, with composited 2D/3D sets (mostly)..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Sincityfinishedfilmcomparis.png for example..
There's a version on the Sin City DVD that has the entire film as it was shot on greenscreen's (Albeit sped-up)
- Ben - iam413x, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Speaking of Jessica Alba, am I the only one excited about the movie simply because there is a rumor she might appear topless.
Sure, it's a slim chance....BUT DONT CRASH ON MY DREAMS!*sobs* - slickrick2k1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1First one wasn't that great. Overhyped, overrated. Hopefully this one's better.
- Flamingmoth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0One was enough. 300 is more appealing to me than either Sin City production. I am a great fan of film interpretations of graphic novels and I'm sure we will see more and more of such films as the future unfolds.
- saman82, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0first part of sin city impressed me a lot http://www.coplace.com/m/sin-city-41319.htm very nice noir action with comedy elements. i hope that the second part will be even better
- egarcia79, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2burried for being inaccurate. hasn's started filming yet.
- v3rb4t1m, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3pics or it didn't happen
- unlimitedorb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Will Jessica Alba be in it again?
Sorry, it's the only thing I really cared about with this movie. - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I think "filming" is a little inaccurate, since it's no doubt all digital and computer generated. More like "working on the scripting, models, and rendering."
- JordanM85, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1I love the comics, but the first movie was so boring to watch. I hope the new one is better.
- JohnKNYC, on 10/12/2007, -9/+0I'm still trying to decide if the movie was written by/for misogynists or those who have an underdeveloped ID.
- SpollakPrime, on 10/12/2007, -15/+2Technically they will never film Sin City 2 it will be taped. Come on this a nerd site get it right. There is no Sin City on Film. Its on HD TAPE or crap I might be wrong it might just go straight to hard drive at this point. Who knows Robert Rodriguez is always on the bleeding edge.
- Battleloser, on 10/12/2007, -24/+1Don't get me wrong, I did like Sin City, it was nice to see something different, but am I the only one who felt like the script was written by 2-3 different people, who didn't really communicate what they were doing to each other?

What is Digg?
