- D3koy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+41If you read it, you find out he has a girlfriend...that's what is most amazing....
- Elektriq, on 10/12/2007, -9/+36WILL IT ***** BLEND? YES. IT WILL.
- jsg7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20See, this is what would have happened if New Line had banned Peter Jackson from the movie trilogy...
- tripple-breve, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21That is, truly, a work of nerd love.
Starting countdown to the stupid blend joke... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19mmmm..... Helm's Deep smoothie
- StarCrusher, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18>>No offense, but the detail is in no way comparable to some of the more amazing work out there.
There's always some bozo who has to belittle someone else's work. Why not post pictures of YOUR amazing recreation before slamming someone else's? - marinist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Those Uruk Hai melt in your mouth, not in your hand.
- yoshitx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15@salagat
Its 10 PM Will we have pictures by 3 am? - Amnesia10, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14"It's going to suck when ants invade his house."
No those are the to-scale orcs. :-) - Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Dugg for effort... my goodness.
- AkatsukiNoTobi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11It's going to suck when ants invade his house.
- Eyeooga, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8he said that he worked on it with his "girlfriend"....
hang on, i'm googling "girlfriend" to see what that is... - urie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Thats the most realistic looking CGI I have ever seen!
- sjbdallas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Wow, definitely a bitter crowd on DIGG tonight..
All these folks sitting around on their computers late on a Saturday night talking about how other folks are a waste of oxygen or aren't going to get laid.
Uh.....my excuse for being here is the ice storm, what's yours again? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Reminds me of the time I I built de_dust2 out of legos for a drafting project. Damnit I wish I would've taken pictures of that.
- capiCrimm, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8do you ever think God sees us as tiny pieces of sugary candy and just wants to suck, twist, and rip our heads off?
- dominasian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I wonder how long people can resist temptation
- aplardi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5You Have My Twizler! - Gimli
- kpwells, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4me too...I would've dugg that
- yoshitx, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8A pathetic waste of time, obviously done by social misfits.....I love it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I have a nerdrection.
- pureliquidhw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5RTFA
he has a girlfriend. I dunno about you, but digging at 11PM on a Saturday means you're either sick (like me) or 12 (like you). - dtfinch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5That's a lot of gummy bears.
- missedmanners, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I is a virgin?
Say wha?
Hard for me to get all indignant about that considering that if I were on the other side of the confectionary wall, I'd probably be saying the same thing, so I understand.
Thanks for all the diggs and comments :-D - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Maybe one day I'll remake it, it was pretty sweet. I gave all my legos away to the less fortunate kids like 2 years ago, but I'll go grab some more once I'm done with all my current projects.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Did anyone read the about section? "Miss(ed) Manners didn’t really start out as a blog, well it sort of did, kind of. One day, in 2004, on the way into work I got offered Crystal Meth and hot gay sex by a complete stranger and the retelling of it on a messageboard"
- RubeGoldberg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2'Let's ride out and 'Eat them!'
- SSCrow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Imagine how badass this would be in Stop Motion.
- cypherz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Awesome! You are today's Nerd King! I want to eat the gummi's when you are done with them! :-P
- pureliquidhw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2dugg for the intended pun
- Eyeooga, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Uh - my dog ate my car, i think...
- Tristam29, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Don't just look at the pictures. The comments are pretty sweet too. (pun intended..)
- Tapewormz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He did! His girlfriend AND his sister! If that's not Jerry Springer I don't know what is. ;) *just kidding*
- lostradamus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1At first I was skeptical until I read this line: "Pwnt is Ent-speak for owned."
DIGG! - astrotrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You need find yourself a woman....WAY too much time on your hands.
- krakkinem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When they're finally ready to destroy it, they can eat it in the order that the battle progressed in the story/movie. Build it like nerds, wreck it like nerds.
Another thought - why didn't they use something like yellow and green only for the orcs, and orange and red only for the defenders? The way it is now they all look the same. They wouldn't have wanted me there helping out, I'm such a stickler for detail. - twinklyJesus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, he CLAIMS to have a girlfriend. Whether she's actually a girl AND a friend is yet to be determined.
*he also plays LOTR with gummi bears* - Coffeedemon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1FTA: "As you can see, my mom has a bitching rug."
I'll bet... but does it match the drapes? - RubeGoldberg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh my god! I can't type any responses to any thing as 'dig is over'! Oh...wait...
- socbret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Who else thought of the 2005 Victoria's Secret holiday runway show thing when they read the title?
- mikesly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Now stick it outside and let the new battle begin
- 5xSTUN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1OMG, that totally reminds me of this game I used to play on my SNES called "Populous." There was a level that took a while to get to where all the minions were mice and the buildings and landscape were made of candy and pastries. Whoa, early 90s flashback!
- TheOther1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Orcs! Get in my belly!
- Xanin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1mm...elf fresh
- tcwood00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1screw that...no one wants to know if it matches the drapes....everyone wants to know
Will It Blend?? - Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mmmm. Candy... orcs.
- JoeBlunt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The battle was sweet but soon to go sour, when suddenly two naked giants fell from the sky. The multi colored riders of Rohan and thousands of gummy orcs and battle hardened trolls were crushed by the mounds of sweaty flesh. After the days battle capped off with the wrestling of these two love struck giants, Helm's Deep was never again quite the same.
Probably not. - jlyoung, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1oh great, now i have to step over my puddle of drool when i get out!
- angusm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1azathothx wrote "the book has no elves at Helms Deep. It was a cinemtatic contrivance to show the fighting on all fronts of the 'free-peeps of teh zomg middle-earth'"
It's a Coalition of the Willing of Middle Earth: "See, we really do have all the good guys on our side!"
The elves probably were at Helms Deep, but they only sent four ambulance drivers, a press and publicity officer, and a couple of armored garbage trucks, so Tolkien didn't notice them. -
