- christopheles, on 10/11/2007, -0/+29And he's apparently going to try to get the ***** Spirit out of his ***** lab.
- redwolfb14, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17It's Samuel Jackson. No one calls him Sam Jackson. Except people who don't know he's Samuel Jackson; anything else and it's some other dude.
- motbob, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Goddamn it; his name is Samuel L. Jackson, not Sam Jackson. Sheesh.
- 11arrows, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10Sam jackson can make a movie about snakes on a plane decent, so he will be great in a movie that's good to begin with.
- cheekybastard, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5-What does the Octopus look like?
-What?
I can't wait. - Saint3k, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5They called me... Mr. Glass.

- iamdeirdre, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Will Eisner was a great writer and artist, I hope Frank Miller doesn't try to gimmick it up. Although he (Miller) kicks ass, the Spirit has a different feel than his material. Samuel Jackson was an interesting choice. I can't wait to see who they choose to play Danny Colt.
- Hermitwise, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4but what I want to know is, who's going to play Ebony White?
- gormenghast, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4blogspam
- consonance, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Frank Miller didn't write V For Vendetta. That was Alan Moore, who is totally out of the mainstream, unlike Miller.

Straight to the whole article. - otep, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2"it's the one with bad ***** on it" ............
- APHughes, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Hopefully Frank will do Will's Spirit story justice and after seeing his last two films I bet he will.
- JrGhoull, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5frank miller could make a story about my bowel movements into an unbelievable comic and eventual movie....i look back at some of the really popular stories in the past...and came to the conclusion that it wasnt the idea of the story, but rather the writer themselves. Sin city was a bunch of short stories about...well...alot of crazy people. it was weird...almost random, but unbelievable. 300 was simply his own spin on history ...and look what he did with it? frank miller (it seems to me) uses basic ideas to bring a sort of power to his stories. a big part of sin city was the use of black and white, and the self narroration that they did in movies from the 50s. 300 was a good vs evil...all odds against them kind of story. V for vandetta wasnt what it should have been, but was pretty damn good if u take in consideration the fact that it was done by one of the main guys who worked on the matrix. my main concern right now is watchman...but i'm not sure if they will be able to show on the big screen the grittiness and complexity that IS watchman. i'm not a huge huge fanboy of frank miller simply because i am not a particularly avid comic book reader...but a rule of thumb i have is, if its done by frank, its good *****.
- Dorepoll, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Samuel Jackson is a 100 Bullets fan. Major props.
- ares623, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Samuel L. Jackson is cool.
- sonaro, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5This is what I would call, not a pet peeve, but a major psychotic ***** hatred. (Thank you George.)

All about Frameing, Light and Shadows - SomGuye, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Someone care to mirror this?
I'm afraid I do not know how.
Thing is down in under 11 minutes... - airship, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I thought maybe this was the part Samuel L. Jackson was going to play! :)
Seriously, I doubt they will include Ebony in the plot. If they do, they'll have to PC him up by changing his name and giving him kick-butt Karate skillz. - smek2, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Frank Miller adapting a Will Eisner comic? I thought he would doing his own stuff now?
- easybakelovin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0***** it, IMO the Sin City style is a good style to copy.
- TheKingOfHell, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1if it doesn't look like Sin City at all, it will be good.
- pathy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1I don't know about this...
Okay, the previous Frank Miller movies have been awesome, yes, but they're also based on stuff he did when he actually had a bit of sanity left. (Come on, Batman vs. Al-Qaeda?) That, and he's never directed by himself before, and it looks like it's going to just copy Sin City's style... Eh, I'm skeptical. - tdogg241, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2YES THEY DESERVED TO DIE AND I HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL
- jdunkel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2THIS IS HOW I TALK
- Spacejack, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Hopefully it won't be Sam J. Jones again!
- mary76, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1@redwolfb14 and sonaro
In real life, he goes by Sam. "Samuel L" is more of a stage name. - KnightMareInc, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2now its sure to suck
- rasterbator, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1If it looks anything like Sin City, it will be good.
- easybakelovin, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0@soaro
