Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee

- buttheadward, on 03/19/2008, -4/+84Smeckler - "What are you doing?"
Gay Lover -"I want to cuddle."
Smeckler -"Cuddle? What a fag." - nazzareno, on 03/19/2008, -3/+54Well, can't do much damage with that then, can we? Perhaps it should have been a rule of wrist?
- TomK88, on 03/19/2008, -6/+54I would love to see a sequel. It's too bad Rocco isn't around anymore though, he was the best character.
- hummstheword, on 03/19/2008, -3/+45What the ***** were you going to do, laugh the last three to death, Funny-Man?
- rvandy, on 03/19/2008, -2/+44I can't buy a pack of smokes without running into nine guys that you *****!
- bromac, on 03/19/2008, -6/+44AND THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT!
- jdizzle88, on 03/19/2008, -14/+49Maybe troy duffy is insane but The Boondock Saints is a masterpiece. Top 5 easily.
- evolove, on 03/19/2008, -2/+29maybe i should've RTFA. consider me buried.
- TomK88, on 03/19/2008, -3/+28He died in the first one...
- Apokalyps2547, on 03/19/2008, -5/+27I hope for excellence, but I fear the worst.
How many GOOD films have been tarnished by bad sequels? How many more must there be?! - sonofblacula, on 03/19/2008, -5/+261. Insert random quote from movie

3. Get Diggs! - tbone8978, on 03/19/2008, -1/+16Look at how many good movies didn't have bad sequels too. Like Good Burger.
- TheJumpOff, on 03/19/2008, -8/+22Hell yeah! Boondocks 2 baby!
- dagnabbit, on 03/19/2008, -3/+16What do you mean? Wikipedia says he's booked for the sequel.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Della_Rocco - intekra, on 03/19/2008, -6/+19Yakavetta: I'm having a ***** day. I'm depressed. Tell me a funny joke.
Rocco: Uh, OK. There's these three guys walking on the beach, a spic, a white guy, and a black guy.
Yakavetta: *****.
Rocco: Yeah, right. So they find this pot, rub it, and a genie comes out. The genie says, "You can wish for whatever you want." So he asks the Mexican what he wants, and he says "I want all my people in America to be happy and free, and in Mexico." So the genie goes poof. It's done. Then he says to the black guy...
Vincenzo Lipazzi: *****.
Rocco: Yeah, right, he says to the ***** "What do you want?" and the ***** says, "I want all my ***** brothers to be back in Africa, and happy and free and everything." So the genie goes poof. And they're all back in Africa. So... I'm not funny today, really, this joke sucks, I know...
Yakavetta: Continue the joke.
Rocco: Uh, so he says to the white guy, "What's your one wish?" And the white guy says, "Wait, you mean to tell me that all the spics and ***** are out of America?" The genie goes yeah, and the white guy says, uh, "I'll have a Coke, then."
That joke always makes me chuckle... even though it's terrible. - oOLiquidNightOo, on 03/19/2008, -0/+12I actually liked Saints but .. yeah, it was almost unbearable to watch Duffy collapse under the weight of his ego/id in Overnight.
- dagnabbit, on 03/19/2008, -2/+13Oh that's right. It's been a while since I've seen it. Still, he's apparently credited for part 2 so maybe he'll be in a flashback or something.
- burstaneurysm, on 03/19/2008, -5/+16Why don't you make like a tree, and get the ***** outta here!
- FZero68, on 03/19/2008, -2/+13Watch Duffy be a huge dick and crush everyone he knows with his massive ego in overnight. It's a shame this ***** is going to get a second chance.
- oOLiquidNightOo, on 03/19/2008, -1/+11If they ARE actually bringing him back, that doesn't speak to well for the sequel. I could see duffy trying to "resurrect" the character via "divine intervention".
- TomK88, on 03/19/2008, -1/+11Perhaps a flashback or maybe the movie is a prequel.
- Swarms, on 03/19/2008, -0/+9I hate that saying. I can still enjoy the original even if the sequel sucks. Dumb and Dumberer didn't ruin Dumb and Dumber for me, it's still one of the funniest movies of all time. IF the Boondock's Saints sequel sucks, then it sucks...the original will still be a masterpiece.
- Chompy, on 03/19/2008, -0/+9I pity the fool who greenlights an A-team movie without Mr. T. The only place he'd even be safe would be on an airplane.
- intekra, on 03/19/2008, -5/+14Connor: Now you will receive us.
Murphy: We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
Connor: We do not want your tired and sick.
Murphy: It is your corrupt we claim.
Connor: It is your evil that will be sought by us.
Murphy: With every breath we shall hunt them down.
Connor: Each day, we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.
Murphy: Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal, these are principles that every man of every faith can embrace.
Connor: These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
Murphy: There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.
Connor: For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three. And on that day, you will reap it.
Murphy: And we will send you to whatever god you wish.
[Murphy and Conner join II Duce behind Yakavetta]
Connor, Murphy, Il Duce: And shepherds we shall be, For thee my lord for thee. Power has descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
Il Duce: In nomine Patri
Connor: Et Fili
Murphy: Spiritus Sancti
BOOM *****! YAAWW - inactive, on 03/19/2008, -2/+11Is it dead?
- andyhite, on 03/19/2008, -5/+14A good friend of mine was killed in a car crash last week and we read the Boondock Saints Family Prayer at his memorial last Friday because he was a huge fan of the movie (his heritage was Irish, and he was incredibly proud of it, so he loved the Boondock Saints). He was always quoting the prayer, so it was fitting that we read it at his memorial.
Anyway, I know this was off-topic, but that prayer has a different meaning to me now. - intekra, on 03/19/2008, -1/+9Shut your fat ass Rayvie! I can't buy a pack of smokes without running into nine guys you *****!
I killed your cat! I thought that it would bring closure to our relationship! - skyshock1, on 03/20/2008, -0/+8I'll have a coke then.
- Chompy, on 03/19/2008, -6/+14Hey, film nerd: nobody cares about how you think you're better than everyone because you didn't like Boondock Saints. Taste is subjective, so get over yourself.
- RoroCo, on 03/19/2008, -2/+9They should.. but they won't. Hollywood is running out of ideas so they are trying to milk the success of the past (ironically... this movie failed initially). I am just waiting for the announcement of an A-Team or M*A*S*H remake.... {slaps forehead}
- Shogi, on 03/19/2008, -1/+8Has to be flashback. If it's prequel, they won't exactly be the saints will they?
- jull1234, on 03/19/2008, -0/+7The aforementioned documentary called "Overnight" is available on netflix 'watch it now'
- sonofblacula, on 03/19/2008, -1/+7Zombie Rocco, brought back by to life by the Lich Lord, does battle with the Boondock Saints in the an epic CG battle.
- PocchieTheMan, on 03/19/2008, -4/+10Hey *****-ass! Give me a beer!
- SenorCardgage74, on 03/19/2008, -3/+9To be fair, jidizzle88 has only seen 6 movies and one of them was an old Sweatin to the Oldies VHS (which he strangely ranked #3)
- MovieQuest, on 03/19/2008, -3/+8BAD idea. Did anyone listen to the DVD commentary? It's evident Troy Duffy didn't make the movie. Everyone around him with talent to spare gave their own and made it into the film it is. He just sat around with bad ideas and zero talent and lapped up the credit. Boo.
- charlesray, on 03/19/2008, -2/+7Why are you blaming Hollywood? It's being made by Troy Duffy. It's not like Hollywood execs are going to ruin it, it's being made by the same goddamn guy. Boondock Saints was awesome, hopefully the second will be too. When it comes out, just wait a week and and see if it's going to be good. There's no downside to this. Either we get an awesome sequel, or it sucks and you DON'T SEE IT.
- aqcarter, on 03/19/2008, -2/+7been waiting 9 short years for this!
- oOLiquidNightOo, on 03/19/2008, -1/+6no *****' way that just happened.
- diggduggDOOM, on 03/19/2008, -5/+10Boondock Saints is vastly overrated. With such a strong cult following and many recommendations I finally checked this movie out. Obviously this is subjective, but I found it to be only mildly entertaining at best and I damn near fell asleep during some scenes.
- Billions, on 03/20/2008, -2/+7Watch both 'Reservoir Dogs' and then watch 'Boondock Saints' and understand how bad 'Saints' is. Terrible cliché shots, conspicuous wide-angle lens use, sub-par acting... Troy Duffy's greatest achievement was the slow burnout that was shown in the documentary 'Overnight'; at least that rang true. 'Bondock Saints' was garbage.
- arcooke, on 03/19/2008, -4/+9WE, the audience and fans, created the hype because WE think it's worthy of its status. It's our opinion. Don't come in here trying to tell us our *opinions* are wrong.
- astitious, on 03/19/2008, -3/+8I hope it doesn't get made. Troy Duffy doesn't deserve success.
- SenorCardgage74, on 03/19/2008, -3/+7Movie was fake hipster *****.
5th rate copy of a copy of a copy crime flick filled with the kind of gimmicky affectations that people that hang out at Spencer's gifts and buy framed Scarface posters would think are cool.
If he were an Assistant Manager of a Hot Topic instead of famously managing a video store in his early years, Tarantino might have made Boondock Saints instead of Reservoir Dogs.
If Pulp Fiction was Chili Palmer's dope ass Italian Leather black blazer, then Boondock Saints is a $40 pleather knockoff from Wal Mart. - Rockmaninoff, on 03/19/2008, -1/+5An A-Team movie is rumored to be in development.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0429493/
Also, without Mr. T, it will fail. - grumpy1377, on 03/19/2008, -3/+7http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiAGy90hQxA NSFW
- SenorCardgage74, on 03/19/2008, -1/+5"is still one of the best all-time films in my library"
Occupying a prestigious spot on the shelf betwixt the modern classics Bad Boys 2 and The Chronicles of Riddick. - Misaiato, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3Yeah I was just going to write what you did. ++
