- PattycakesHaze, on 11/10/2009, -1/+14Assuming Sam Raimi gets full control over the 4th movie, and that little turd Avi Arad doesn't destroy the original script, it should be good. I have sympathies for Spiderman 3, it wasn't the fault of Raimi or anyone besides the studio heads deciding that Venom was necessary. So they threw him in last minute and ruined the original story.
...I think that after Spiderman 3, Marvel might have learned to let Raimi stay in charge and make cinematic gold (a la Spiderman 2). I am all in favor of a sequel if he gets to do what he wants. - AmericanGunner, on 11/10/2009, -0/+11so going 2 for 3 isnt good enough? :/

On 3 the studio butted in too much, and gave into fan cravings for Venom, who originally wasn't a part of the script. But Raimi couldn't do much, other than try to make the best of a bad situation.
