- moskrin, on 07/08/2009, -0/+46Predators descend on the Titty Twister bar and take on the vampires?
- kevro, on 07/08/2009, -2/+35Carl Weathers: Whoa, whoa, whoa. There's still plenty of meat on that bone. Now you take this home, throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato. Baby, you've got a stew going.
- HonkingAntelope, on 07/08/2009, -0/+26If it bleeds, we can kill it.
- wannaBdug, on 07/08/2009, -0/+19Can't wait to see how the outcome is without the Hollywood Predators.
- nwhysee, on 07/08/2009, -1/+19GET TO DUH CHOPPAH
- geodebug, on 07/08/2009, -0/+15Rodriguez movies are great and don't take themselves too seriously: Dusk Till Dawn, Planet Terror, Sin City...
Not everybody's taste but always fun and original (and not afraid to be gory). I'll see his Predators.
"That boy's got the devil in him" - andrewlotta, on 07/08/2009, -0/+14I'll believe it when I see it :-|
- WiretapStudios, on 07/08/2009, -0/+13Let me tell you a little story about acting. I was doing this Showtime movie, Hot Ice with Anne Archer, never once touched my per diem. I'd go to Craft Service, get some raw veggies, bacon, Cup-A-Soup... baby, I got a stew going.
- KnightMareInc, on 07/08/2009, -0/+10i would pay to watch this movie
- fuzzytank, on 07/08/2009, -0/+10The CIA got you pushing too many pencils?
- amawg9, on 07/08/2009, -0/+9Now wait a minute. This is just purely a social call. You know, just two adults getting a stew on, man.
- Threlly1, on 07/08/2009, -3/+11Why is it that I'm starting to hate and despise the word 'reboot' in a movie context ?
- Sangreal2007, on 07/08/2009, -3/+11Completely incorrect use of that meme.
-1 - Chairboy, on 07/08/2009, -3/+10Why do you "need" _any_ movie? It's entertainment, and if it's done right, it will find AN audience.
Does that mean that people who like Predator now will love it? Absolutely not. Lucas created his Star Wars abominations and spit in the face of us Star Wars fanboys, but he made a pantsload of money by filming to a specific audience successfully.
So no, you don't "need" this, but then, what films DO you need? - MrZaiko, on 07/08/2009, -1/+8Ive been waiting for a new true predator movie.
Would be nice to have Arnold as a "crazy" war Vet. and nobody believes his amazing stories, until... - snareguy17, on 07/08/2009, -0/+7Am I the only one waiting for it to come out on DVD for another 10 minute cooking school?
Oh wait, yeah, I probably am. - asgardshill, on 07/08/2009, -1/+7Will we finally get to see the goddamn sexual tyrannosaurus?
- Pirate42, on 07/08/2009, -0/+6I personally always remember the scene where Lindsay says "oh here comes my husband now" when Tobias and Carl Weathers walk into a bar shes in and the man shes flirting with says "Your married to Carl Weathers! *****!" and runs off.
- KnightMareInc, on 07/08/2009, -0/+6If this wasnt from Rodriguez I would be claiming its going to suck donkey balls.
- rabidjester, on 07/08/2009, -0/+4Unless, of course, it ain't got time to bleed.
Sorry. - Kidddrunkadelic, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4You are one ugly *****!
- deadasdisco, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4DYLAN!
- Stormwern, on 07/08/2009, -0/+4Sure, have a go. Since it's outside the hollywood system we probably wont even hear about it unless it's good, so win win.
- deadasdisco, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4hey, predator 2 was pretty badass.
- UnpossibIe, on 07/08/2009, -0/+4What made the original Predator so awesome was the predator itself, which has become an iconic villain. If Rodriguez can recreate the image and lethality of the original predator, he'll have a big movie. If he makes the ***** predators from the last few movies, it'll bomb.
- Trigonometron, on 07/08/2009, -0/+4So you cooked up this story and dropped the six of us in a meat grinder-
- Amadeus2490, on 07/08/2009, -0/+4I'll see it if Salma Hayek makes a cameo in it as a dancer.
- Bloodwine, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4You know, that'd be perfect. I mean, Arnie survived the original movie and even Predator 2 acknowledged his survival.
They could make this a true sequel if somewhere in the movie you have an old, gnarly, drunk Arnie hanging out in some slum in a third-world country, telling anybody who would listen about the predator. Everybody would write him off as a crazy old kook. - Trigonometron, on 07/08/2009, -0/+4...his man boobs peel away to reveal a cybernetic organisim. Living tissue over metal endo-skeleton. The metal endoskeleton is a microprocessor controlled fully armoured hyper-alloy combat chassis. This endoskeleton is constructed with frictionless bearings in its joints, and a servo-actuated control system. Its limbs are controlled by axial drive motors and clavicular trailing links. This allows the T-800 to.......
- Ahornet, on 07/08/2009, -0/+4Soon the hunt will begin. Man the old Predator movie rocked.
- smacksaw, on 07/08/2009, -0/+3I was thinking about this the other day. Predator and Terminator were good movies for other reasons, some being their budget. You don't want Michael Bay with too much money making just explosions. We need more movies like Predator and Terminator where it's just a good sci-fi flick with a decent budget and some actors you'd actually pay to see. Somewhere between the blockbuster and direct-to-DVD crap.
- ParticleMan420, on 07/08/2009, -1/+4its never a good idea to base your movies/games/whatever around fanboys.
they dont like anything new or different. There is nothing that lucas could have done that would have been acceptable to the fanboy crowd, so why bother?
remember, it was the fanboys that killed the star trek franchise, and the lack of fanboy coddling that brought it back. - MrOsis, on 07/08/2009, -0/+2I would LOVE to have something to do with this film.
Texas is home to many different environments (woods, beach, desert, oklahoma) so I can see how he can film at least 60% of the film there.
I just wish he would stop by my city so I could bug him with praise - Bloodboiler, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2Same here. At first I didn't recognize the name and was sure it would suck.
Rodriguez directed Sin City ( and Desperado) so I would expect something good.
However, he did also direct 'From Dusk Till Dawn' and 'Planet Terror ' so the end result may be not entirely unlike 'Evil Aliens' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383353/) - Fleagleman, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2I'm still waiting for a full-length version of Eli Roth's "Thanksgiving". Can we have another Grindhouse and make it happen? Only, can we just eliminate Rodriguez being involved at all this time? Planet Terror was awful.
- Trigonometron, on 07/08/2009, -0/+2Cmon guys, you are so jaded, at least it's not the same crap with AvP or Danny Glover with a 20lb laser gun. RR knows how to make a movie...if you want the old predator, watch it.
- leif777, on 07/08/2009, -0/+2hmm... I donno about this one...
- KnightMareInc, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2dusk till dawn was awesome
- Jack8274, on 07/08/2009, -0/+1It's set on the predator planet. Unless they have the jungles of Vietnam and Arnold on their planet then I doubt it will be very similar
