- roastedbagel, on 10/10/2007, -9/+53Even if I do decide to download it. Bet your ass I'm going to see it in the theatre just to support Rob...His work is awesome and definitely deserves the monetary credit
- loitus, on 10/10/2007, -2/+20*waits for the REAL version*
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -10/+28Saves me $20.
I LOVED the original, and I liked the idea of Zombie directing it because he said it would be true to it's core. Original story, original mask, original music...then the trailer comes out and the mother ***** changed EVERYTHING.
I don't give a ***** if Michael had a stripper as a mom, and that's what made him have his 'rage'. I don't want to see Michael as some 7 foot white trash psycho in a ward for 30 minutes before he goes back to his hometown. And I especially hate how all the actresses look like plastic. The original had girls that looked like girls. Every slasher flick since the mid 90's has been casting 30 year old plastic jobs for the roles of 17 year-olds, it's getting tiresome. - Walgreenz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16It's supposedly missing out on a lot of the death scenes, and the actual ending. Just wait one more week.
- badjoke, on 10/10/2007, -4/+17This leaking is a major reason why Hollywood hates piracy. This is not the final cut of the movie, and people are now telling all their friends that it's horrible (even if it really will be). I wonder how much money this leak cost them.
I say wait for the final cut before making an opinion. - Tourney3p0, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13Don't worry. Ben Stiller will have a new movie out for you soon.
- SomeManbeapig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Workprint versions aren't worth it. Especially if they are missing the best parts of the movie.
- cloudyprison, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Piracy, the better choice.
Meh, I'll wait for video....scratch that....FX movie sunday.... - Elranzer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Complete *except* for the death scenes and ending? Sounds more like a grass roots advertising campaign in disguise, to me.
- zigspective, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6It's a remake.
He adds a couple other scenes of background and then continues on with the same story circa 1978. - kingfoot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5its rob ***** zombie. he wont go broke cause a movie is downloaded on the internet.
- RustRobot, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Regardless of what I think of Halloween, Zombie did a stellar job with The Devils Rejects and that's enough for me to support him and actually see the film in the theater.
- logicalnoise, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6but my paycheck does get stolen, Social security and taxes.
- datdamonfoo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5How do you justify putting a question mark after that statement?
- SenorCardgage74, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4"Because most people would agree that Return of the Living Dead should not have been made."
Are you nuts? Thats a WILDLY popular movie, ESPECIALLY amongst the Romero-faithful. - logicalnoise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I have faith. 1000 corpses was too disjointed by rejects was great fun.
- Crispuk, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8Its been on Usenet for a while.
- actorboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Help! Anybody! Geoffrey's been killed!
- logicalnoise, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5this is the first version that tested. He did major reshoots and added a new ending.
- Ryetronics, on 10/10/2007, -5/+9Nice. Passing judgment before you even see the movie. Idiot.
- Shirleycakes, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4*destroys

Don't feed the troll! - coheedcollapse, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5If he defiles the original glory of Halloween with some hypergore rapefest, I'm going to be so pissed. I loved that movie.
- loitus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Lies. About 60% of the film is Michael as a kid.
- loitus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Reviews of a WORKPRINT. A workprint crated prior to additional shooting, reshooting and re-editing.
- KooLLaiD, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Who's anticipating this *****? The Man should Not be allowed to make/produce/write or anything else involving movies. He needs to stick to music.
- kingfoot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3yes because we all know you see an entire 2 hour movie in a 30 second trailer...
- CaptainRotundo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Don't worry he isn't touching that movie. He is releasing a new one. No one is doing anything to the original Halloween.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I know, it's hard to believe that not everybody lives up to your nerdy white guy stereotype.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3You guys act like you've never downloaded an mp3 before. I own over 450 albums, I own over 150 DVDs/Blu-Rays, and probably 50 videogames. You think i'm going to pay for albums I haven't heard before, or movies/games that don't look like they're worth their inflated value? I'm not paying $50 for Big Brain, or $50 on Cooking Mama on the Wii.
Like I said, I buy a ton of music, but I'm not going to give people ***** for downloading albums. Albums are expensive, and music (and movies and games) are meant to be heard/experienced, not copyrighted. - logicalnoise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2go bots
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The reshoot added a dozen murder scenes. When your remake needs 12 extra deaths to liven it up, I think it's safe to say the movie will be *****.
The original had like what? 5 murders? - CaptainRotundo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2What? You may think his music and movies since white zombie were crap (I won't disagree in most cases) but he has certainly done things since then. As far as I'm concerned its been downhill since La Sexorcisto.
- anjinash, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The Psycho remake was just as pointless and stupid, and how do you know if he approved or disapproved of that remake? That came out well before Digg was a twinkle in Kevin Rose's eye.
I loved Devils Rejects, thought House of 1000 Corpses was a steaming pile.. and CHUD is reporting that this remake is a complete abortion. Better luck next time Rob.
- krnldmp, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Aw settle down. This is probably no more than a modern version of what used to be called a "trailer", agreed for release by Rob himself, in spite of what may eventually "leak" out about the "leak".
- electricmba, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I love newbs that think "BitTorrent" is a network instead of a client, and is where everything starts.
- sinrtb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I think this might be a purposeful pre-release to spark interest. If people download it and like they will go watch it in theaters which will have the ending, also no one will download the newer torrents released later because they will be mixed with this one that is released now.
- actorboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I stand corrected.
- shinelikeitdoes, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2this is highly anticipated? he hasnt done anything good since white zombie. particularly not with film.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Cool. I am sure Rob won't mind, after all he can make his money with the concert tour... oh wait.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Which cost money. Why can't I use a download service to try out movies and games? If I like a movie that much I'll buy it. If a game is worth replaying, i'll buy it.
That still doesn't justify why so many millions of people pirate music. You can't rent albums.
Also, I pay a ***** of money to have fiber optics, if I'm paying that much for increased download speeds, then I better ***** utilize it. - loitus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I think I might know my point, I'm not trying to say whether it would be superior. I won't know that until I see it for myself. All I mean is just that it can easily be quite different whether that's for better or worse. So to make judgments based on a workprint is rather silly. Sometimes they are quite similar to the finished product, sometimes couldn't be more different.
- slimdizzy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Hits front page today and this has been known for how long now??? Buried as lame.
- anjinash, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1He means the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, dopey... not Turner Classic Movies. Yeesh
- marcomc2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1i love spam. its so awesome.
i am kidding. you suck. - DollaDollaBill, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Well I'm glad at least you understand the fruitless efforts of remaking a great film.
- Plinkotic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I do miss the real looking females. No one's saying bring back Dumpy Sue, but why do they all look the same?
- revenge7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2It's by Rob Zombie. The final cut will be horrible, too.
- SenorCardgage74, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Hated Corpses, but really dug Rejects.
The only thing I dont like about Zombie's movies is that he takes one of his greatest strengths too far: the art direction.
Hes into so many different retro and nostalgia fetishes that he feels he needs to cram every inch of the frame with em.
Thats great for eye candy, but sucks me right out of the story. Even the dirt looks stylized. Again, it looks cool but it makes everything look a little too "perfect" and that makes it hard for me to really get into the story. - sych0, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Haha, that guy has a lame ***** mouse pointer
