- form3hide, on 02/01/2008, -4/+60If they want to stop piracy, then stop it at it's roots.
Or allow me to get a god damn refund when a movie sucks. - leftfield, on 02/01/2008, -0/+43That's Zelda. This is Rambo.
- maxsunset, on 02/01/2008, -4/+46Sure. It wasnt a great movie... TO BRING YOUR GIRLFRIEND TO!!! SISSY lol
- shit, on 02/01/2008, -0/+41When you're pushed, pirating is as easy as breathing.
- nirav72, on 02/01/2008, -1/+34How about they stop showing Ads before a movie starts at the theater, especially when I've paid $10 to see the damn thing.
- doctechnical, on 02/01/2008, -0/+31Delivered by an armed guard? Was the guard actually expected to shoot at anyone trying to steal the disc? "Guard this with your life. YOUR LIFE!"
- aywwts4, on 02/01/2008, -5/+32Does Stalone really think pirates fly up with their massive flying air galleons, firing their harpoons at the 747 to dock along side it, then they fire their cannons, blasting a hole in the side of the aircraft and start rappelling in to the plane shouting... "Arrr, give me your Rambo Screener" (In which event the guard was instructed to pull out the sword he smuggled on board and fight to the death over the film)

Howard told the crew how hard it was to get a screener copy of the new “Rambo” movie. Gary came in to tell Howard about the lengths the studio went to: a man flew from LA yesterday with the DVD in hand and insisted on personally handing it off to Gary, who passed it on to Howard. Gary added that they even want the disc back this very morning. Howard replied that the trouble was worth it, as this one is better than all the other “Rambo” movies.
-HowardStern.com Thursday, January 24, 2008 - jmoh, on 02/01/2008, -3/+29Even with less than a page of script, the movie was grotesquely awesome.
- mwalker05, on 02/01/2008, -0/+24who goes to rambo expecting anything more than a gory asskicking fiesta? i assure you, it does deliver this.
- Valnar300, on 02/01/2008, -0/+24Now that ^ would be a movie worth watching.
- aspec, on 02/01/2008, -1/+23Drugs? College Textbooks?
- imapluralist, on 02/01/2008, -0/+20It wouldn't surprise me if this becomes a new form hurting corporate competitors. i.e. getting paid-off to leak a competitors movie.
- Jambi, on 02/01/2008, -2/+20I'm guessing he's implying that the OP is a sissy for not wanting to see some sixty year old dude half naked and blowing ***** up.
- xXGeechXx, on 02/01/2008, -3/+21I went to a screening of this and there was metal detectors and security guards patting people down... I said to my girlfreind they can spend all this money to attempt to prevent a low quality internet copy of the movie but someone is going to find a way to beat the system...
I've been to a few screenings recently and not once have I seen this.. - inactive, on 02/01/2008, -1/+18Um, it's been out for a week. Of course it's on torrent sites and usenet.
What, are you people new or something? - doctechnical, on 02/01/2008, -0/+16Our nation's addiction to oil?
- MacEnvy, on 02/01/2008, -1/+17CIA black ops budget?
- Forky, on 02/01/2008, -0/+12For myself I have no problem with watching the commercials if I enter the cinema 15 minutes before the movie is announced to start, but when I have to watch 20 minutes of ads AFTER the promised starting time. Then I feel that they've lied to me and used me in a very intimidating way, they steal my time.
- Step1Mark, on 02/01/2008, -1/+11?
- saphyrre, on 02/01/2008, -0/+10It would work great, the only problem is that (usually) the ones responsible for implementing those security measures are the leakers:).
- jmoh, on 02/01/2008, -0/+9"Live for nothing, or Die for something....Your Call."
- inactive, on 02/01/2008, -1/+8This is not the time and place for that. This is supposed to be a comical news item, where we can laugh at how futile these extreme measures of caution are to protect movies. Furthermore, the RIAA/MPAA is not even directly related to the article.
- mst3kcrow, on 02/01/2008, -0/+7That's the kind of ***** that makes me boycott movie theaters. If I really want to see some movies, I will wait 6 months, reinstate my Netflix account, and pay $1/movie to watch it at my own place on my own terms.
- gypsi, on 02/01/2008, -0/+7start showing those dumbass anti-piracy ads at studio, production and union meetings.
- cramd, on 02/01/2008, -0/+6after seeing this movie I would say that Rambo would be kicking Chuck's ass - sorry chuck
- RedZone09, on 02/01/2008, -5/+11Rambo is awesome!
- tuxerware, on 02/01/2008, -0/+6Absolutely!
- cawpin, on 02/01/2008, -0/+6That's always bothered me. The last movie I saw in a theater was American Gangster, which is GREAT BTW, and I swear to you there were at least 20 minutes of previews and commercials. The movie is 3 ***** hours. I don't need it to be extended anymore.
- betobeto, on 02/01/2008, -0/+6That sounds pathetic. It's like they'd rather want not to show the film to anyone. Which probably would be much better.
- Jude007, on 02/01/2008, -0/+5The reason I haven't downloaded this yet is simply because I still have memories of Rambo 3, oh.. the shame!
- LogicBomB, on 02/01/2008, -1/+6Who wants to see 30 year olds on HGH play baseball? Oh wait, all of America.
The movie was actually pretty good imho. - LogicBomB, on 02/01/2008, -0/+5I really liked it. I could not have been happier in fact.
If you want to know what this movie is like, watch Rambo II, then increase the killcount and gore by a lot. - LordByr0n, on 02/01/2008, -1/+6Real heroes dont die... they rip Dvds
- getoffmybridge, on 05/05/2009, -0/+5Hey Sly, wanna grab a bite to eat dude?
Yeah sure, just lemme grab my Members Only jacket. - Rikkochet, on 02/01/2008, -2/+6You should shut up, not down.
- gypsi, on 02/01/2008, -1/+5hey look, i have an opinion too.
- jeremymccurdy, on 02/01/2008, -0/+4You've never seen a screener have you?
- aywwts4, on 02/01/2008, -0/+4Yeah, its just an old man running around in front of a blue screen firing a "gun" while someone offscreen goes "Psheew, Psheew, Kabang, Kabow!" then they cut to people standing infront of a bluescreen, then they get flipped by the catapult into a blue bag, again while the guy goes "Kablloooieeee!"
All in all its the best rambo of the series, I give it about 3 1/2 stars. - Supernova36, on 02/01/2008, -0/+4So what surprising result did 'Culture Makers Entertainment' produce on Google before it was a page of Rambo stories?
- usrlocalbin, on 02/01/2008, -0/+4I accidentally dugg you down. Sorry!
I totally agree with you ! - djbon2112, on 02/01/2008, -1/+5It's called "Reply to so-and-so's comment"
- hydrodev, on 02/01/2008, -0/+3they did, LOOK UP.
- R3Dirkulous, on 02/01/2008, -0/+3I think he means to simply dl and use an hdmi to dmi or something like that to display on your tv.
- DarkDx, on 02/02/2008, -0/+3http://www.mininova.org/tor/1142445
- zbeast, on 02/01/2008, -5/+8the question is do you really want to see it?
Is it worth your time and bandwidth to download it?
Me personally.. I'll wait till it shows up in the $5.00 bin and use it for a great MS3k night..
I'm no anti-file trading person, I'm just a girl who likes good movies. - gypsi, on 02/01/2008, -0/+3most people don't watch a movie more than once.
- asauterChicago, on 02/01/2008, -1/+4Title is misleading, this isn't a screener, this a Workprint. Big difference, a workprint can be incomplete and the quality can vary. I've seen a few screen shots of this and it looks, meh, maybe VHS quality?
- shaundee, on 02/01/2008, -1/+4Thats the impression I'm getting. Doesn't it occur to anyone that this was leaked by the studio. I'm pretty new to Digg, but I see a real niaveity and urge to fit in with other peoples opinions here rather than some free thinking and ability to see things from a different point of view. Must be why most of the comments I made are in the negative lulz
- Twindagger, on 02/01/2008, -0/+3Holy crap where do you live? I can get 2 seats and popcorn for $20 here.
