- DWatch, on 05/06/2009, -2/+21This guy (Dom) was way funnier in 10 minutes on film than the entire careers of hacks like Adam Sandler and Rob Shnieder, put together. The guy could make anyone laugh till they wet themselves.
FYI, for all you Sci-Fi geeks out there who might not know; his son Peter DeLuise.... the guy who played in "21 Jump Street" (which launched Johnny Depp's career), was a major force in the Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis series. He wrote quite a few episodes, and directed nearly 60 episodes of SG-1, and a handful of Atlantis episodes. So if you are a SG-1 fan you owe quite a bit of that, indirectly, to Dom. Also, Dom was in an episode of SG-1 as well, playing the most hilariously obnoxious alien, ever.... "Urgo". It was hands down the funniest episode of SG-1 ever made, even taking into account their 200th episode.
Also, anyone who was in Mel Brook's "Blazing Saddles" gets an automatic pass into heaven, in my book. RIP Dom. - Chewie67, on 05/06/2009, -0/+18Cannonball Run is an AWESOME movie.
It doesn't happen much these days, but with the Rat Pack in the 60's and the Burt Reynolds gang in the 70's and early 80's, they would make these kinds of movies just so they could work with their friends. It seems like it was more about the party and the laughs than the actual movie. The out-takes from these films are fantastic.
The closest thing we have to that today are the Ocean's 11 movies. - vat0r, on 05/06/2009, -2/+19Burt Reynolds is an *****.

Farley/Deluise skit - Turkman182, on 05/05/2009, -4/+16This truly is sad. He was the only thing that made Burt Reynolds tolerable. Thanks for these clips. Hilarious.
- paulexander, on 05/06/2009, -2/+13They were laughing so much because they were all drunk, and high on cocaine.
Ahhh, the 80's - Awwzm, on 05/06/2009, -3/+12Dom: You were a real class act for taking that kind of ***** from Burt Reynolds.
- evil-doer, on 05/06/2009, -0/+8i wonder how high everyone was during the making of that movie? im guessing "very"
- SilverBack101, on 05/06/2009, -0/+8His laugh was so infectious. :( RIP Dom.
- Velenne, on 05/06/2009, -0/+8End credit bloopers are often better than the movie itself.
- DaLukeMan, on 05/06/2009, -0/+7Damn those slaps look like they hurt.
- waynefoolx, on 05/06/2009, -0/+7you know he lived as long as he did b/c he laughed so much, and made others laugh. RIP.
- coadyj, on 05/06/2009, -1/+8Very funny, it really looks like they had a good time making that movie, rip
- knol, on 05/06/2009, -0/+7I always liked his character in "the Secret of Nimh."
- fahrvergnuugen, on 05/06/2009, -2/+9Super Troopers fits that category too - a bunch of guys who are friends have a blast making a movie, end credit bloopers as proof.
- CivicTV, on 08/14/2009, -0/+6How about for all you Sci-Fi geeks, Dom DeLuise did the voice of Pizza The Hut in the movie SPACEBALLS.
- jba68, on 05/06/2009, -0/+6please, before Burt Reynolds there was Mel Brooks...
- Asvetic, on 05/06/2009, -0/+4Weird text at the 3 min mark; Waarom moest ie lachen? is Dutch. Translated to English; Why did he laugh?
Answer: because that's what Dom does! - SkippyDoorknob, on 05/06/2009, -0/+4He's the king of the end credit injuries.
- TheMachine1, on 05/06/2009, -1/+5We are all hacks.
- heretrix, on 05/06/2009, -0/+4They used to make some really fun movies back in the day with a bunch of great character actors just having a blast and chewing up the scenery. Ahh, good times.
RIP Dom, you kicked ass.
Blazing Saddles people. Blazing ***** Saddles. - Nathan187, on 05/06/2009, -2/+6Cannonball Run is awesome -- especially the outtakes. My favorite outtake is when Terry Bradshaw loses it when Mel TIllis is trying to talk in the swimming pool. That was priceless.
Too bad movies today focus on how much CGI they get in the movie instead of actual comedy and a believable storyline. (Worse yet...casting someone like Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler in movies) - jshhmr, on 05/06/2009, -0/+3I'll bet it took a bit longer than expected to film Cannonball Run. They had way too much fun!
- heavystone, on 05/06/2009, -0/+3Man, this brings back memory's. I have to get a hold of the Cannonball run movies and relive them.
- FightTest, on 05/06/2009, -1/+3If a set like that existed today there would be like 400 lawsuits for assaults filed.
- imautobot, on 05/06/2009, -0/+2Why can't the out takes from modern films be this awesome?
- socomoddjob, on 05/06/2009, -1/+3so is his mustache.
- imautobot, on 05/06/2009, -0/+2I believe both Dom's sons were in SeaQuest.
- BigT383, on 05/06/2009, -3/+5And pretty much every Judd Apatow movie, too.
- EvilJon, on 05/06/2009, -0/+2The Broken Lizard guys are a real acting troupe. They've made a few movies other than Super Troopers, including Beerfest and Club Dread. Super Troopers 2 FTW!
- thefarouk, on 05/06/2009, -0/+2Ohh.... Sparklies...!!!!
- blacklilyninja, on 05/06/2009, -1/+2....TEXAS HAS A WHOREHOUSE INNIT!
- jba68, on 05/06/2009, -0/+1Chicken Ranch, FTW too bad its gone :(
- nme1337, on 05/06/2009, -3/+4How are you all forgetting Judd Aaptow movies? They are just as good if not better examples of a bunch of friends making movies and having fun then the movies listed. Not to mention almost all the movies they make are huge hits.
- Fleagleman, on 05/06/2009, -1/+2You could've just linked to the skit on Youtube...
Like the guy further down the thread. - IphtashuFitz, on 05/06/2009, -1/+2Oceans 11, 12, 13 fit the "work with their friends" bill. Just no bloopers.
Although not bloopers per se, I also like the credits for "Something About Mary" where they filmed the actors lipsynching to "Build Me Up Buttercup" by the The Foundations. - HCGorden, on 05/06/2009, -2/+3Does anyone remember that Saturday Night Live skit where Chris Farley played Dom DeLuise on the Johnny Carson show? If you havn't seen it it's pretty funny stuff.
- Brittania123, on 05/06/2009, -0/+1Dude he was a legend for his role in American Tale movies, despite the fact he only did the voice of one of the characters
Comic genius RIP - theoristbj, on 05/06/2009, -0/+1Jackie Chan got the idea for end credit bloopers from Cannonball Run.
- CivicTV, on 08/14/2009, -1/+2Its Dom . . . Dom DeLuise.
- inactive, on 05/06/2009, -0/+1Clips? It was the end credits for Cannonball. Perhaps next time we could put a little more effort into the tribute and actually have a compilation of Dom from several movies?
Just sayin. - jshhmr, on 05/06/2009, -0/+1Camptown ladies sing this song, doo dah, doo dah
- stuwanker, on 05/06/2009, -2/+3The State's take on these bloopers:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPUzkP9B_ZQ - inactive, on 05/06/2009, -1/+1Cause Cannonball Run had a believable story line?
- jordantneff, on 05/06/2009, -2/+1I came here just to see if someone posted that... and I was not disappointed.
- OzzieAlThor, on 05/06/2009, -2/+1True that.
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 05/06/2009, -2/+1Tourettes guy is possibly the least funny thing to ever come out of the internet.
- inactive, on 05/06/2009, -1/+0Who ?
- Piccolojr, on 05/06/2009, -5/+3I always thought Jackie Chan was king of the end credit bloopers.
- MushinVin, on 05/06/2009, -9/+4“Dom DeLuise, he used to be a chef, on tv… but now he just sits at home, with his ass UP HIS ASS!”
