Its such a pain because everything is blocked off and you have to find really out of the way routes to walk to where you need to go. There are wrecked cars strewn around, and they are taking so much time to get these shots which will be over in seconds in the movie. One of my coworkers claimed he saw a Venom stuntman, but I think he's just being an asshat.

For the previous films, there were separate stuntmen for fighting, swinging, wall crawling, falling and whatever else acrobatics webhead was to do. Especially with Tobey Maguire's back problems, I doubt they keep him doing anything too dangerous. The only time he himself is in the suit is when they need a shot of his face (e.g. the upside down kiss) or when they need dialogue delivered. Hope this helps!

- navster15, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Regardless of whether Tobey Maguire wants to do stunts or not, there is always insurance considerations. Perhaps due to his previous injuries, the costs to cover Tobey Maguire doing his own stunts would not be cost effective.

Black Costume = possibly mourning her death.
