- Mark_H, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That chick was pretty annoying.
- smc44, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Finally a digg video that I actually experienced. Was quite funny to go from Kinetics to Pac-Man...And a special thanks to Doc. Simpson for actually letting us be done with class after that.
- mercano, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Oh, yes, how could I forget. A movie from Strosacker.
"Experience the world of multichannel sound. Our feature is presented in WIDE SCREEN STEREO." - thecolor11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They should have hacked into the PA system and played the opening pac man theme right before they ran in.
- tifosiv122, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Digg cause it was at Case...
- Chronomaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Definitely worth a digg.
I easily consider this a hax because it's something beyond ordinary. Hacking is exceeding boundaries set up by whatever system, and this essentially went beyond school rules, beyond social norms, and in the end, everyone benefited off of it (a good laugh for 2 minutes).
For those calling it stupid, inane, whatever, lighten up. I don't really want to strike out, but there are just too many uptight people out there. It was cool to see. It required a team behind it. It helped boost morale. All it really took away was the 2 minutes (tops) the presentation took and (judging from smc44) it was a great class ender.
chucklarge: "the ghost was not dark blue, so the ghost should be chasing pacman."
Yeah, go figure. Then again, the ghost/Pacman had arms and legs, so anything goes. - chrono13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The teacher is trying hard to contain her laughter. She almost lost her composure and actually enjoyed herself for a moment. She caught herself in time though.
+Digg - procras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hehe, right thru Strosacker Aud. brilliant. but are we really desperate to the point of calling halloween costumes "hacks?" please, people =P
- RogueX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For those complaining about the blue color, apparently it was the only blue colored paper the student center had.
gotta use what you have available. - aznbond, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So what if it's not a "hack". Many of us would not have seen this if it wasn't posted on digg.
Digg should definitely broaden it's horizon beyond tech. But then again, some of the hardcore techguys here would be pissed off and start to bitch. - urmudda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was pretty retarded. They were walking all casual. It would have been a lot better if they just busted through the door in a high speed chase.
http://www.pacmanhattan.com/ - chucklarge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ok, why was pacman chasing the ghost? the ghost was not dark blue, so the ghost should be chasing pacman.
- EnzanBlues, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1HA! That's hilarious. I watched it just now in my Electronics class and a few others came over and were just like WTF. I found it funny thouh, being a geek. Definatly not a hack though.
- jay314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@jkfan87
Not quite. I agree, most college students now would have been well into the NES generation. But, I'm a college senior and I've got an Atari 2600 (my parents') and a Pac-Man cartidge in my living room. I remember playing Lock-n-Chase as a kid.
I would be really surprised if anyone younger than me could say the same, though. I think I'm at the tail end age-wise of those who could remember Pac-Man from their childhood. - spacenettnet, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1chiablo lighten up man it was hilarious and very well thought out and executed, not everything is defined by a dictionary. I mean when someone is 0wn3d or p4n3d that isnt in the dictionary either but we all know what it means. Great job to the guys over at case, the video was awesome
- spacenettnet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't see the video where is it ?
- Pandaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very entertaining :)
- jodamiller, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All you people saying it's lame, have you ever attempted something as funny and different as that? My bet is no. Until you have, lay off with the "lame" comments.
- the_mole1314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My mom went to Case Western Reserve! Cool video!
BTW, CWRU is in Cleveland, OH just FYI. - IHaveIssues, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"All you people saying it's lame, have you ever attempted something as funny and different as that? My bet is no. Until you have, lay off with the "lame" comments"
You must lead a very sheltered life. - flipzmode, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No one said it was a hack, it's a hax. :P
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Please to be telling me what was funny about this.
- mdheinzer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wonder what the post office would say about this: http://home.cwru.edu/~jxw139/pachax/img/big/085.jpg
something tells me that they should have used refrigerator boxes instead! - Nulubez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0their site is getting hammered.. here is a mirror of the video
- iamserious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pac-man is vey weird, but humans are very funny. And some chem teachers are very hot.
Thank you, Pac-people. Thank you and continue on!
P/s Pacmanhanttan is the opposite of good/great. - Simply_J, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Now if the costume had an actual moving mouth, it would be cool. I might even forgive the use of the word 'hax'. But as it is, it's just plain weak. I don't Digg it.
- spacenettnet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0exactly
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ha, that was hilarious!
- danhuard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hilarious! great prank!
- RogueX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow
- JimXugle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hehe. I now have a pretty good Idea for my senior prank
:-P
Any Ideas on how I can get a Pacman costume like that into a 38x9x8" locker? - flipzmode, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol. I have a bunch of friends at CWRU.
Look at the board at 0:48 into the video. *gasp* That's why I'm a network admin major and not a Chem major. - mentor972, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's Digg Dead! It's been diggnighted!!! I wish I could see it!
- BASK1104, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Haha thats hilarious, I know a kid who is that class near the front row.
- Philbert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not too bad. I had a couple teachers in college who would've responded like that. One in particular, and she was hot too, but that's another story. lol I've never heard this "hax" before, I assumed it meant "hacks" too, but I'm getting the impression it might mean "hoax"? it is definitely a fun hoax, but I don't see it even remotely having to do with hacking and yes I know hacking doesn't always relate to electronics.
- duestown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A few guys at Cornell run all around campus (mostly sticking to the engineering quad) every Halloween dressed as Pac-Man and the ghosts. And the costumes are better too, heh.
Digg anyway. - pentomino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Next Halloween, that's going to be me. Except I don't think I'd be happy with the two-dimensional Pac-Man. I'd want a whole sphere.
When I went to Classic Gaming Expo in 2002, there was a guy with what looks like a professionally-made but incomplete Pac-Man costume. It consisted of yellow sleeves, orange gloves, and a spherical yellow shell with Pac-Man's face on it -- though only the front half was present at the expo. See if you can find the pictures online. - spacenettnet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you thought the us mail would be offended about that then check this guy out he made all his furniture in his house with free fedex boxes.

- mercano, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, Case is an engineering school, and it shows. I've been in same lecture hall with DDR, Soul Caliber, and Punch Out being projected onto the three screens.
Poor home server. - DrJuice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Finally something out of Cleveland besides a losing pro sports team!!
Ok that was harsh, but I live here and dude, the Browns, what's going on? - ucf2011, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the video is taking a really long time to load becuase everyone is trying to get it at the same time..... thats what happens when something gets dugg....
- lasvegasgamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just applied yesterday to Case Early Action.
Seeing this made me laugh and then get all giddy waiting for the response again
Hopefully, I get in...so just all wish LVG good luck - bossm4n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice find. Makes me wish I was still in college. Wish I had more Professors that looked like her in college. I might have actually paid attention.
- ek3s, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lame, they ripped that idea from DigiPen!
but still awesome sauce el oh el.
Pacman + anything = ***** cool - EvilzoraK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That rocks, Thats my fav video game of alltime, glad to see it invading an otherwise drab lecture hall
- .Steven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice...!
- bladespirit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0appears as though there was a bad link off of their main page but it's fixed now
the video is on "level 256" on the left side if you have future trouble - egscott2004, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was a pac-man for halloween and my two housemates were inky and blinky. It is a lot of fun running down the street in high pursuit, but gets tiring very quickly.
- Amplix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0eh? did I watch a different version than the rest of you or was that not funny at all =-
Maybe i'm just weird -
