- Benjigga, on 07/16/2009, -3/+58Banning a movie only makes it so more people will watch it who normally wouldn't have.
- decapitor, on 07/16/2009, -4/+56Censorship sucks.
- Denominator88, on 07/16/2009, -4/+42***** them, they have inferior potassium.
- sjbdallas, on 07/16/2009, -6/+38Apparently they also banned porn. That country's becoming a real buzz-kill.
- bobtheunholy, on 07/16/2009, -2/+34Sascha Cohen walks that thin line between cultural insensitivity and edgy comedy. Sometimes he gets it right. Of course you'll have to get visually tea-bagged in the process.
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -3/+34This is how the Ukraine defends itself against a man with two dildos.
- r2builder, on 07/16/2009, -8/+29I'm sick of reading about this movie.
- ghostrc, on 07/16/2009, -5/+25The Ukraine is weak!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzLtF_PxbYw - Eurynom0s, on 07/16/2009, -1/+18This is worse than what happened to Funkyzeit!
- m3arvk, on 07/16/2009, -3/+19Ukraine has some of the hottest women in the world. I'd have thought they'd be pretty liberal toward sex.
- medj, on 07/16/2009, -6/+22You had to watch it to know it would be bad?
- capnawesome, on 07/16/2009, -19/+32While I disagree with censorship, I agree that no one should see this movie.
it was bad. - durruticolumn, on 09/18/2009, -1/+12I didn't see homosexual sex when I watched BrĂ¼no. What I saw was acrobatics that required the use of stunt doubles, suspension wires, and CGI. That movie was about gay people the way Die Hard is about traffic cops. It made Pride Parade look like a Catholic funeral.
- YagLana, on 07/16/2009, -8/+19The Ukraine Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs need a documentary.
- markf3388, on 07/16/2009, -6/+17Whats up with so many people in this thread bashing bruno??? It was a ***** hilarious movie.
- bmcnally, on 07/16/2009, -1/+12It was a ***** sandwich. There were some really interesting parts - like when he was interviewing people for getting babies in a photoshoot and the scenes with the little kid, but then the rest of the movie just went for shock value with barely censored sex scenes, spinning penises, and over-the-top gay sex. There was really not as much exploration of certain group's distaste for homosexuality that I thought there would be. Shame. Could've been really good.
- fadeout, on 07/16/2009, -0/+8Because he is a hypocritcal, prejudiced douchebag, His newsletters have 20 years of him saying disgusting things about HIV patients and homosexuals.
Internet libertarians have convinced themselves into think he's progressive on gay rights and so on but that does not make it so. - fifaigor, on 07/16/2009, -1/+8This is coming from a country where one of the most popular music bands on the charts is ViaGra?
- AlyxVance, on 07/16/2009, -9/+16A few parts of this movie were funny, but the rest was so vulgar I couldn't stand it.
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -4/+11the arab who is interviewed as a terrorist is actually my boyfriends cousin. needless to say, he isn't a terrorist, and he definitely is not amused by Sasha's antics. Think he's in the process of suing now.
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -1/+7Censorship s****
- tgc1, on 07/16/2009, -2/+8It's just a movie.
- JuanBSU, on 07/16/2009, -2/+7to show how hypocritical he is?
- TheBEST205, on 07/16/2009, -1/+6I agree. If you get past all the ridiculous stuff in the movie, it really isn't that bad.
- 1longtime, on 07/16/2009, -1/+6Now... who wants to hear a good story about a bridge?
- chunkybeefstu, on 07/16/2009, -1/+6"I will not respond, and do you want to know why?
...Because you're a Scot! Ahahahahaha" - pintomp3, on 07/16/2009, -3/+8He's not hypocritical. He's just a Bible-thumping homophobe.
- pahomi, on 07/16/2009, -1/+5They may try to do their people a favor but banning stuff is never a smart move. People should be allowed to make up their own damn minds and if you decide for them, don't expect them to be thankful.
- christopherRB, on 07/16/2009, -3/+7Ukraine not weak!
- tj007s13, on 07/16/2009, -1/+5I wish my government tried to censor what I can see and do. Oh wait, they do as well.
ALL CENSORSHIP IS BAD! EVERYTHING SHOULD BE UNRESTRICTED! - burkewendt, on 07/16/2009, -3/+7They're a bigger buzz-kill than Buzz Killington... *waits for Buzz Killington* to respond*
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -3/+7common sense?
- blitzkriegpunk, on 07/16/2009, -1/+5Wearing a strap-on.
- bakaferret, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4Well, it's not exactly proof, but for what it's worth...:

- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4what dissapoints me most is the people that walk out of the movie theatre. So sad that people can't handle it. Full grown men that see each other's penis in the showers and piss in front of each other can't stand a 10 second penis scene? grow some balls people, nobody is judging you. It was funny in some parts and worth 1 viewing. hopefully people won't abandon Sacha. Then again, those that do hadn't heard of him until the Borat movie anyway. true fans of him will remain.
- americanoboy, on 07/16/2009, -3/+6proof?
- TheMachine1, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4I know you both have to be Canadian based on me researching potassium chloride supply yesterday.
- rl41, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4You win the comments. Several internets to you, sir.
- BlakeElton, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4well 90% of the online "films" i watch would be WAY past banned
- spookyttws, on 07/16/2009, -1/+3"But Kokhan remains unimpressed. "Watch this film, and it will answer most of your questions [about the ban]," he says. "It's not a film of the artistic values that Ukrainian viewers need.""
I find it interesting that one person (or a group) of people think they should have the authority to dictate what any other person 'needs'. Granted they do actually have that authority, I just find the idea insane. We may have age restrictions on things (here in the US) but at least you can't outright ban something. - inactive, on 07/16/2009, -2/+4um....evidence?
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2im in the mood to play some risk, even if it is on a subway..
- GayMafiaKingpin, on 07/16/2009, -1/+3I think that's a statement of opinion, which doesn't require proof.
- GeorgeStone2, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2When the dude kicked the strap on, oh man.
Effen lol. - GeorgeStone2, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2F**k censorship
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -2/+4No, he's not. And no, he isn't your boyfriends cousin.
- argagarg, on 07/16/2009, -3/+5Ukraine can go ***** itself. And then censor the process.
- paradigmxx, on 07/16/2009, -1/+3I hope to see a press conference from Bruno regarding this.
In oder aus?
