- zjbird, on 12/02/2008, -4/+33Couldn't be worse than X3 could it?
- tgc1, on 12/02/2008, -0/+22You think there'd be a sarge with enough balls to tell Logan to shave? Me thinks not.
- valleyvideo, on 12/02/2008, -0/+21Okay, I'm completely weirded out by Liev Schreiber's beard.
- Bic823, on 12/02/2008, -0/+19Saving Private Logan?
- nmezib, on 12/02/2008, -0/+19Actually, Wolverine's character was supposed to be born in 19th century Canada. his super healing = anti-aging.

I know it's wikipedia, but if you have your doubts, read the extensive reference comics listed at the bottom. Logan's probably 150 years old by now, so WWII is not out of the question. Hell, he was supposed to have fought in WWI even. - LtCarter47, on 12/02/2008, -2/+19Here's Gambit:
http://www.iesb.net/index.php?option=com_content&t ... - inactive, on 12/02/2008, -0/+16He is going to be Deadpool.
- nmezib, on 12/02/2008, -1/+16I'm just glad it's still Hugh Jackman.
I remember watching the X-men cartoons as a kid, and it showed Wolverine's origins. In that, he teams up with Captain America and fights Red Skull in WWII Germany. That was long before he got the Adamantium skeleton and awesome claws.
Remember, his healing powers fights aging (only makes sense... why else does Hayden Pannetiere still look like jailbait?), so he could be 100 years old for all we know. - whoizthedrizzle, on 12/02/2008, -5/+18am i the only one glad they finally made this ***** - and finally put gambit in?
- iamnobody8614, on 12/02/2008, -0/+12Not just a good southern accent, but a nearly incomprehensible Cajun one.
- Synn, on 12/02/2008, -0/+12Would you tell Wolverine he's not allowed to have facial hair?
- ChildeRoland420, on 12/02/2008, -3/+15I call BS. Soldiers/Marines aren't allowed to have facial hair other than a mustache.
- gametavern, on 12/02/2008, -2/+13they let you have sideburns like that in the military?
- RealmDown, on 12/02/2008, -1/+11Nothing comes to mind.....
- TribalCouncil, on 12/02/2008, -0/+10He's looking a bit too well groomed.
- nmezib, on 12/02/2008, -1/+11eeshh...
well, let's hope he puts on a decent southern accent. If not, I'm walking the hell out. - inactive, on 12/02/2008, -1/+10Look at the rifles:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1903_Springfield_rif ... - DeadPlasmaCell, on 12/02/2008, -1/+10Forever Virgin.. Niice.
- tgc1, on 12/02/2008, -0/+8It's part of the origin story. Some estimates (if you remember Jean Grey's quote from X1) say he might be as old as Professor Xavier, or older. Which means he would have been of age during the battle of Normandy during WW2, which that scene looks a lot like.
Remember though, Wolverine was ultimately part of the Weapon X project in Canada. - iamnobody8614, on 12/02/2008, -0/+7Bruised? Doesn't he have the ability to heal almost instantaneously?
- kingmanic, on 12/02/2008, -0/+7That brings up interesting questions on regeneration and a certain bit of female anatomy.
- inactive, on 12/02/2008, -1/+7Exactly. Wolverine is constantly pissed off, battered and bruised. He should ALWAYS look like he just came out of a bar fight that he barely won.....
- KingGorilla, on 12/02/2008, -0/+6Regenerating Private Logan
- himenohogosha, on 12/02/2008, -0/+6why wouldn't he?
- inactive, on 12/02/2008, -1/+7fudge no.... hell in most "crack" units you don't even get a haircut like that. High and tight is the way they like em.
- Dudemeyster, on 12/02/2008, -0/+6Those are still American troops and uniforms.
He should be with the Canadians. - Dave0112, on 12/02/2008, -1/+7meh.
- oger, on 12/02/2008, -2/+7yes it can but just hope deadpool is good in it he need a movie
- swgc5, on 12/03/2008, -0/+5Exactly, Wolverine should be landing on Juno beach with the Canadians, this is *****.
- markwood, on 12/02/2008, -3/+8What the hell? Wolverine is Canadian. How the hell, rather why the hell is he fighting with the American troops?
- Synn, on 12/02/2008, -1/+6No you won't.
- alpha94, on 12/02/2008, -1/+6I'm a huge fan of the wolverine character and I hope the back story here is even remotely as interesting as the books. Bloodlust is one of my favourites.
- nmezib, on 12/02/2008, -1/+6you're right, I won't. I'd just close VLC media player and find something else to download :P
- jdmonmou, on 12/02/2008, -3/+8I just hope it doesn't suck like X-Men 3 did.
- inactive, on 12/02/2008, -0/+5Cast: Will.I.Am? I fail to see how this is a fit at all.
Maybe Marvel can get Mos Def for their upcomming Thor movie....and Wyclef for a voodoo Haitian in Dr. Strange.
Keep the musicians in the soundtrack and the actors on screen please. - Ferago, on 12/02/2008, -1/+6It's a story about a guy with metal claws coming out of his hands, is the fact that he has mutton chops in the army that big a deal? At the same time there's a guy running around somewhere in spandex throwing a shield at nazis.
- daimposter, on 12/02/2008, -0/+5I can see it now. If Ryan Reynolds nails this performance, which he should since he is a great wisecracker and the lady's love him, they will have a spinoff of Deadpool.
So that would make a potential Deadpool movie a spinoff from a spinoff, right? - SilentRamble42, on 12/02/2008, -0/+4From what I remember of the trailer, he had no mask, no scarring, and ran around in a red sleeveless t-shirt
- oger, on 12/02/2008, -1/+5deadpool needs his own movie.
- spoonchucks, on 12/03/2008, -0/+4Only redeeming quality of X3: "Don't you know who I am? I'm the juggernaut bitch!"
Overdone internet-inspired memes FTW. - EmperorAwesome, on 12/02/2008, -0/+4He was born in the 19th century, and moved around quite a bit before joining the X-Men.
- inactive, on 12/02/2008, -2/+6How is that ironic?
- tgc1, on 12/02/2008, -1/+5Maybe his facial hair just grows REALLY fast. Think about it, Wolverines healing factor must come into play and make him go through razors like water.
- mongo25, on 12/02/2008, -0/+4I hear the Kenny Loggins' feathered haircut was all the rage in the 1940's.
- moxofien, on 12/02/2008, -1/+5Reading too much into it guys.......
- SilentRamble42, on 12/02/2008, -0/+4A trailer leaked at ComicCon. It's propbably been taken off most sites, but you could find it if you tried hard enough.
- latalianheat, on 12/02/2008, -1/+5SNIKT!
That was the sound of me popping out my own claws as I buried your misspelling. - DeadPlasmaCell, on 12/02/2008, -0/+4Will.I.Am?? Really?
- nmezib, on 12/02/2008, -0/+3sucks for her... must hurt every time.
and lets not forget changing the bed sheets. Sheesh... -
