I realize this show as a big part of a lot of your childhoods, but you do all realize that the show was just a half hour long commercial? It wasn't the second coming, or some great work of art. The show was about robots fighting, and they could turn into cars and stuff. That's cool.
You know what the movie is gonna have? Big robots fighting, turning into cars/tanks/helicopters, etc...oh, and blowing ***** up. That's exactly what the majority of the public wants to. I'm sure the studio/filmmakers will throw you Transfans a few bones here and there...but you are getting a movie with robots kicking ass.

Quicktime, windows media, even flash woulda been fine, but no these jerks decided to spend extra to make it "really cool". Hopefully the same is not true of the movie itself. They should have just hired lonelygirl15 to reenact the trailer broadway style.
