They can't add in their own touches, retell the tale, or update it. It not only has to follow the story 100% perfectly in every way, but it also has to live up with what fanboys think it should live up to. It needs to explain plot holes exactly how fans interpret something even if that particular area was under developed by the original writers.
Oh, and everything Hollywood does is *****. Anyone who ever gets involved in Hollywood films has no creative muscle, no ability to tell a story, and not worth the money they're being paid. You're not a proper fan of films unless you think Army of Darkness is one of the greatest films of all time.

I loved the transformers when I was a kid and the movie does have a lot of fan service, I swear I even heard one of the deceptions use the universal greeting. If people want to wax lyrical about what Micheal By has done to the transformers remember one point. It was a series of toy commercials that was written for kids and those kids who are now adults need to let this generation have their fun.

Do you not remember blaster from the 80's movie, as I remember it he was as guilty as that. And wreckgar that classic gem of a character that was tv commercial one after another.

Why does it always create decepticons?
