- LycoLoco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+29"god that looks horrible... I'd much rather watch another early 90's quality live action film over this poorly animated crap."
You say that like the early 90s live action movies were bad...

Michelangelo - MalaysianMafia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16it would have to be better than the one where they traveled back in ***** time...
- joshwalderbach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14First off, yes it's based on the comics as it's written by two of the comics authors.
Writing credits
Kevin Eastman (creator Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book & characters) &
Peter Laird (creator Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book & character

- TonyCubed, on 10/12/2007, -6/+19YouTube? Pffft, it's too good to be on YouTube.
- 0zzy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Ya, this move seems to be just another CGI movie with Ninja Turtles. I would much rather see a darker, more mature TMNT.. TMNT: Begins maybe? :]
- vudicarus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13there's someone shredder-like. at about 55 secs, the big guy who says "destroy them". he's got shredder's shoulder armor. i don't think it's shredder though. maybe it's cyborg shredder from the future.
- isewise, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Enjoy!

C'mon Secret of the Ooze (movie) and Turtles in Time (SNES/arcade) are classics. I'm not gonna count this one out until I actually see it, cause it looks pretty sweet to me. - simplenation, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11high definition:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/teenagemutantninjaturtles/hd/ - Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Don't you mean Vanilla Ice?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9"Whose idea was it to resurrect it anyways?"
Ummmm...Eastman and Laird. Y'know...the creators. - dweeb79, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Yeah, the trailer has been out for a while
- slackerbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8They went into space a few times in the comic books. The two aliens they interacted with most were the Triceritons and Utroms. The Utroms are what they based Krang off of.
The old cartoon series didn't have much to do with space until about the 8th season after Shredder, Krang, and crew were permanently locked into Dimension-X. Then we got Lord Dregg, some new black kid with dreadlocks to replace April, a darker color palette, an all around "more realistic" art style, new intro song and sequence, etc. They wanted to make it more like Power Rangers I guess. :(
And those things in the trailer aren't from space. They're mutations. - TheAnti, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Shredder is dead. And I don't know about the style of the movie, I don't think it'll be able to replace the first two movies, they were so much fun to watch.
- crilen007, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8They look like frogs now.
- TheChihuahua, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2_lNU9FiEo
- lintmonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Word to your mother.
- dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12I *wish* it was Pixar quality. This looks like Dreamworks (think Shark Tales) quality. *shudders*
- primehifi, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10All I can say about this movie is: It's about frikin' time.
- libertao, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Great, now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head again!
- albinoMithos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Splinter taught them to be ninja teens!
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines!
Raphael is cool but Rude, Michelangelo is a party dude! - Noelix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Its Karai, not shredder.
- ogmandino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5why do you need a mac to play a quicktime file?
- rand21althor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@ Zorlak:
That is what I loved about the recent TMNT cartoon (the one that was just replaced by "Fast Forward"); that series stayed pretty true to the Eastman & Laird comics. - Grimdotdotdot, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Get MC Hammer on the case!
- Zorlak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4In the comic books did they ever battle space alien things? I was more for the TV series, and besides Crane, I don't recall anything like what is being depicted here... Maybe the TV series was radically different than the comics though?
- DJCult, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@namurt: if only it were so...I was hoping it would be dark, gritty, and violent. But noooo we get burping, kid-friendly jokes, and a plot about how 'every 3000 years, the stars align to blah blah blah'. *****. They should have raised the age bracket!
- marcuschi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7So its like TMNT meets Pixar? thats just ***** wonderful...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Hope Hostess brings back the Turtle Pies because they were awesome.......
- geoncoder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4 I actually role-played TMNT back in the day. Imagine a mix breed of part human/wolverine with claws and awesome martial arts ability.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_&_Other_Strangeness - TheZorch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4There was also the TMNT After the Bomb roleplaying game from Palladium Books. The really good thing about it is that all of Palladium's RPGs were compatible so you could have the Turtles show up on Rifts earth or on the deck of the SDF-1 in the Robotech RPG. It was cool. Damn I miss college.
The movie looked awesome. - Simplogic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I really hope there is a CG Vanilla Ice is in this one. Go ninja, go ninja, go!
- mikepictor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5"Are you tards serious? You want to go watch a movie about the most retarded childrens cartoon ever created?"
The cartoon was based on a comic series, aimed more to adults. The cartoon dumbed it down. This movie....might keep it dumb, or might bring back that darker edge of the comic. We'll see. - rand21althor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yay, Patrick Stewart!!
- BarryChuckle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Looks like your mom... wrote the screenplay, Dude!
- ginrummy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4There's no way this is a new trailer. I've seen a version like this on digg before.
- seany187, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Bla, I don't know why you are all putting this movie down, its looks better then most animated films that have been released, open season, Doogal, hoodwinked, over the hedge, the wild, everyones hero, barnyard, flushed away.
Although I would prefer another updated live action release, this will definately feel my hunger for TMNT. A nice video game would be good too! The last few were not so great. - libertao, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@ Zorlak: Yes I remember them going into space in the comics (not that I got very far)
- GonadHunter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This isnt iFilm
- ousthouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's what I thought, but maybe it's because the last time I saw them in a movie, 'teenage' was old.
- FreyrVanir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Direct Download
http://images.apple.com/movies/wb/teenagemutantninjaturtles/tmnt-tlr2_h320.mov - mariowario, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So that pizza that Michelangelo is holding towards the end when he says "did anyone get the licence plate.."..yeah its definitely not pepperoni or hawaiian.
