- theblueprint, on 06/12/2008, -5/+122The preview alone is proof you can draw a better actor than Hayden Christensen.
- Somnambulism, on 06/12/2008, -5/+81How much of this is in-game footage?
- duggtodeath, on 06/11/2008, -2/+76"Yousa thinking yousa people ganna die?"
- cutevie, on 06/12/2008, -28/+84 OMG Lucas stop raping Star Wars!!!
- morpheus9602, on 06/12/2008, -4/+54Just think, if this really hits off, I will definitely look forward to "Shadows of the Empire".
I don't mind more Star Wars movies, just as long as they are awesome. - demonbaby, on 06/12/2008, -3/+46Using stylized CGI characters instead of "realistic" CGI characters was a smart move... but couldn't they have found a better style? The vehicles and environments look great, but the human faces have a strange lifelessness to them that feels like something out of a C-list video game cut scene.
Although, now that I think about it, that last sentence would apply just as well to the live-action prequels. - sweeneypng, on 06/11/2008, -16/+53meh.
- MrFettuccine, on 06/12/2008, -2/+34Count Dooku looks kind of crazy. Very long face and more cartoony than the rest it seems.
- seantubridy, on 06/12/2008, -1/+29Will this be available for my Dreamcast?

- JEAH, on 06/12/2008, -3/+21awww.. no clues on who kidnapped jabba's son?? I'm betting it's Lando's uncle, but it could also be IG88's dad... who knows. so exciting!
- danr2c2, on 06/12/2008, -2/+18Vader is Luke's Father!!!!!!
Warning: Spoiler Alert!!
Wait...was I supposed to switch those? - HouseofEl, on 06/12/2008, -6/+22I remember when Star Wars was something to get excited about. Lucas has not raped my childhood, nor has he destroyed the original films. He's just made everything about this great concept mediocre.
- nraphael, on 06/12/2008, -3/+18--Insert tiresome ascii art here--
It's a trap. - SemiSarcastic, on 06/12/2008, -6/+20Screw this, I'm watching Turkish Star Wars.
- goalieguy314, on 06/12/2008, -5/+19Why are the clone wars being revisited, only in animation form?
- AdonalFoyle, on 06/12/2008, -2/+15http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809991325/video/827 ...
- sovietninja, on 06/12/2008, -1/+12Shadows of the Empire would be perfect. Prince Xizor would look perfect as an animated character. Plus the swoop race. OH GOD. I remember when we used to play SWRPG and my ship was a Corellian YT-2400 Transport, with a turbolaser mount. Since the ships powerplant wasn't strong enough to power it by itself, me and my fellow players would kind of have to Voltron together for one epic blast. Kind of like a Mechwarrior alpha-strike. However, one time, was one too many and my ship blew up. I stopped playing after that lol.
- ExSlashdotter, on 06/12/2008, -0/+11Because its a full-fledged *war* in the star wars story that was never really explored in the movies. If you're looking for fresh material, the clone wars have opportunity written all over them. I remember as a kid watching A New Hope wondering just what the heck old ben was talking about:
"General Kenobi: Years ago, you served my father in the Clone Wars; now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. .... This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope. " - thrakhath, on 06/12/2008, -0/+10dugg for nerdiness
- jman583, on 06/12/2008, -2/+12No, Jar Jar, just you.
- brundlefly76, on 06/12/2008, -3/+12Clone Wars? We've already seen the clone wars - it was ok.
Why cant we fast forward to episode 7, and make the cgi a little less cartoon-y? - CaptZomborg, on 06/12/2008, -0/+9Clone Wars series on cartoon network was amazing. I have hope for this. There is no reason they should stop star wars ever. It will always make money, and the majority of what is produced will be better than most entertainment.
- BIGJHUB, on 06/12/2008, -3/+12hey... this might not suck.
- pcdescha, on 06/12/2008, -0/+8I believe it's a reaction to the positive response that the two Clone Wars cartoons got from fans. I borrowed them from a friend once and they were really cool.
- wkeown, on 06/12/2008, -8/+16NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
- Zaggynl, on 06/12/2008, -1/+9*FORCE PUNCH*
- fracktica, on 06/12/2008, -0/+7What's up with the Warner Bros? Going to be weird without the 20th Century Fox drum introduction.
- BetterOffEd, on 06/12/2008, -4/+10More geek money into the Lucas coffers for a mediocre entertainment product.
(You can digg me down now.) - WoWii, on 06/12/2008, -4/+10I'm gonna go ahead and be that guy and say, he sucked in episode 2, but he was good in most (not all) parts of episode 3.
Blame Lucas for the ***** script. (your breaking my heart) - Jenadae, on 06/12/2008, -4/+10I was trying my best to be all "meh this looks lame" but i must say it doesn't...
- FujiwaraTofu, on 06/12/2008, -3/+9So, is this different than the Clone Wars cartoon, or just a remake? The cartoon was cool, but I'm not really up to seeing the same thing all over again.
- CaptZomborg, on 06/12/2008, -1/+7He should have gotten Joss Whedon to write it :P
- cfuse, on 06/12/2008, -0/+6People who annoy you.
- wankelrotary, on 06/12/2008, -1/+6That's no moon. It's a space station.
- browwiw, on 06/12/2008, -1/+6I'm going just for the clone troopers.
- lespaul42, on 06/12/2008, -0/+5I think you were being dugg down cause the original quote was making fun of Jar Jar... then you put a random Yoda quote in there.
- hungryhermit, on 06/12/2008, -11/+15George had a chance to win be back from his "new" star wars trilogy debacle with Indiana Jones 4.....and he thoroughly blew it. Sorry, but I've written this guy off for good.
- otto989, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4dugg for the dirty image i got in my head
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4I agree. The cartoon vibe is a bit put off-ish. But I really hate and have to admit that this looks pretty good.
- hammerpants, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4muh-nee
- abates1337, on 04/03/2009, -0/+4She was in the Clone Wars TV show, but in the TV show it shows her getting killed by anakin? maybe i'm wrong
- casenumber17421, on 06/12/2008, -1/+5who is that sith-looking chick? what happened to "only 2 sith, master and apprentice. no more, no less"
- omenmedia, on 06/12/2008, -1/+4Indeed. You really can't tell too much from trailers, but honestly, I truly think that the more CGI there is in a Star Wars movie the less entertaining it becomes. Think about the original trilogy. For it's day, it was AMAZING special effects, however it looks somewhat dated of course by today's standards. But for what they lacked in effects polish, they made up for with good story, solid characters and, well, people who could actually act.
Fast forward to the prequels, and Lucas crammed so much special effects and CGI in that you end up with wooden acting and a hollow plot (oh and a new character that goes so far beyond annoying that you want to stab yourself in the face). Now, I know Lucas is not at the helm of this new movie, but how will Star Wars fare with an ALL CGI film? The trailer seems to say to me "not well", because there was about 10 seconds of spoken dialog and 1 and a half minutes of "NERRRRRRRRRRR, POW POW POW, BOOOOOOM, FSSSH FSSH ZWOOM ZWOOM KSSSH KSSSH, POW POW, KAFOOOOOM!!!"
Yep, it has "meh" written all over it for me. It might be good though, but the trailer is so disappointing. - mlrigsby, on 06/12/2008, -5/+8This looks almost indescribably bad.
- bawitback, on 06/12/2008, -3/+6Its the animated series in Nintendo 64 graphics
- brownspank, on 06/12/2008, -1/+4The cartoony-ness looks like a continuation of the Tartakovsky look from the Cartoon Network series.
