- jaybol, on 07/16/2008, -0/+58go ninja go ninja go! i remember at the time TMNT II came out that there was no possible combination i could have loved more than the ninja turtles sequel featuring a live performance by vanilla ice. they need to bring him back for this one (no...no im wrong, they definitely don't need to do that).
- rgon, on 07/16/2008, -0/+30Go ninja, Go ninja, Go.
- hakkola, on 07/16/2008, -0/+24I loved the live action movies, the first couple anyways.
I watched the second one a year or two ago, (I think it was the second one, with Casey Jones and the beat down house where April does some drawings), and thought it was just as good as I remembered, and had some adult tones that I never noticed when I was younger, pretty dark movie IMO. Would be great to see another with the same sort of atmosphere. - inactive, on 07/17/2008, -1/+25Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

These Turtle boys don't cut him no slack!

Turtle power! - Jashro, on 07/16/2008, -0/+19I hope to god they don't create it with that TMNT anime style theme they have going now. They make them look like a bunch of baby murderers.
- sovereign3, on 07/17/2008, -0/+19You're thinking of the first one-- probably the best one.
The second one was with the Super Shredder and the oozed-up Tokka and Rahzar. - SeaweedWater, on 07/16/2008, -2/+16They need to do it 'Secret of the Ooze' style. Thats the only way TMNT should be done.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -1/+14i hope they go old school and none of this animation stuff. better yet, go the way of batman
- chaos7, on 07/17/2008, -1/+13all they need to do is put christian bale in it and digg users will worship it
- AshamedAmerican, on 07/17/2008, -0/+12However you do it; live action, animated, just bring back a bad ass Shredder, please.
I saw TMNT in the theater and when they hinted at his return towards the end I literally got a chill.
I miss that guy, one of my all-time favorite villains. - krwlngindark, on 07/17/2008, -0/+11Pizza POWER!

"The film received positive reviews, was the highest-grossing independent film of all time when it was released, a huge hit at the box office, and became the fifth highest grossing film worldwide of 1990 and the most successful film in the series."
I think I speak for everyone when I say ***** you. - Halsfield, on 07/17/2008, -0/+8i would probably see this, but can we please come up with some new ideas instead of just redoing everything from the 80's over and over? GI Joe, transformers, tmnt cgi, when does denver the last dinosaur come out? 2009? and ALF in 2010?
- SEANWOOKIE, on 07/17/2008, -0/+7Not to put you down or anything but that is the first one. It is probably one of my most watched movies.
- inactive, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6If they go dark, keep the catch phrases and Mikey's personality.
- tacojohn48, on 07/17/2008, -1/+7The problem with Vanilla Ice is he doesn't want to sing the only song anybody remembers, and yes it is on my ipod.

In a half shell, they're the heroes four.
In this day and age who could ask for more?
The crime wave is high with muggings mysterious.
Our police and detectives are furious,
'Cause they can't find the source,
Of this lethally evil force.
This is serious so give me a quarter.
I was a witness, get me a reporter!
Call April O'Neil in on this case, and
You'd better hurry up, there's no time to waste!
We need help, like quick, on the double.
Have pity on the city, man it's in trouble!
We need heroes like the Lone Ranger
When Tonto came pronto, when there was danger.
They didn't say they'd be there in half an hour,
'Cause they displayed...Turtle Power! - jawagas, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5BODACIOUS THROWBACK!

- inactive, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5***** man, its the turtles!
- Franey97, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4Well, to be fair, Raph did say "DAMN!" when he lost his Sai...
That single word was SO BADASS when I was 8. - bunki8, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4Ninja, ninja, Rap!
- selmer, on 07/17/2008, -1/+5Wow...not much goin on in Nevada these days, huh?
- RorObSN, on 07/17/2008, -2/+6this is the best news ever
- NorrisTwithman, on 07/17/2008, -1/+5How sweet would a violent, potty-mouthed, R-rated TMNT movie be? Everybody who was little when TMNT was in its prime is above 17, and we all want blood and sex and swearing with our movies now.
- solesoul, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4Get Guillermo del Toro to direct this, and it'll be great
- bunki8, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDU7HsdCotE&feature ...
- freshyill, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4It might not be immediately obvious, but the TMNT cgi movie was in keeping with the continuity of the previous live action movies, which were *roughly* based on some of the ideas laid out in the original Eastman and Laird comics (yes, even the time traveling in TMNT 3).
I don't really know where they'd go next, but I'd love to see the City at War issues made into a movie.
Edit: Check out this issue for more on the time travel: http://www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/mirage/volume01 ...
Totally bad-ass cover, and right before City at War starts. - Franey97, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3When you stand for what you believe in, and find the strength to do whats right.... THATS TURTLE POWER!
- kolyana, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3Did you know that when TMNT made it into England, the roleplaying game (which came first) was called TMNT, but the cartoon was renamed to Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles.
I guess someone, somewhere, decided that "Ninja's" were eveeeel, or some such tosh. - AlanCayce, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3Oh no no. The first movie was the best, hands down. (not that I didnt like the second one)
- Franey97, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3I feel sorry for you that the day came where you decided you were "too old" before 30.
Maybe you should stick to TV, the internet may be too new a contraption for you to handle - keithnoir, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3The cgi version is not better then the first film.
- AoiTakuma, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2I would love to see a live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie that is rated PG13 or higher. The original cartoon, and the live action movies, were around when I was a kid. I have grown and matured and I would love to see one of my favorite cartoons do the same. It would be awesome if Raph got pissed and started skewering the foot with his sai. Him and Leo never actually use their blades. Keep the awesome personalities of each turtle but let them be a little more violent.
- justananomaly, on 07/17/2008, -1/+3The ending of the recent 3D TMNT said something about "And old enemy re-emerging" right before it cut to credits...
- Elranzer, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2Lots of "ninja" stuff is illegal all over Europe. It's one of their more pussy laws.
- Hitchhiker90, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2The old live TMNT were bad? They grossed quite a bit of money! It wasn't that bad.
- illustrick, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2IDK.....anyone remember Ninja turtles 3?
- inactive, on 07/17/2008, -1/+3Hell yeah, Finally I hope its good as the first movie. I still have the original toys. I wonder Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang because we never saw them in a film. It would be quite funny for Sam Raimi to make this film, just a thought. I love Evil Dead.
- agreenall, on 07/17/2008, -1/+3I would be happy if they kept the movie like the old ones, the only thing in need of an update in my humble opinion would be Splinter... I hate to say it but after returning to my VCR to watch the original I realized that as a child I may have needed glasses...
p.s. I for one welcome our giant turtle overlords... - BevansDesign, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2Yea, I guess they have to pretend that ninjas don't exist. But that's just playing into their hands! We must raise awareness of the ninja threat!
- praisethelard, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2*gnarly
- billpyle, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2This isn't happening. The toy company got their information wrong. They changed their site and it now says that they're are talks between a few companies to do another CGI film in 2010. Read the whole story at http://the-5th-turtle.blogspot.com/2008/07/quashed ...
- BinaryDelt, on 07/17/2008, -1/+3Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III? Sweet!!!
(Don't even say it. That "other live action one" you refer to never existed.) - MacSuxWindozSux, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2The first film was by far the best. Dark was way way better. There's parts of II and III that are comedy scenes. But the company "Playmates" isn't interested in making a film. They're interested in selling toys. Same deal as the transformers.

Partners in Kryme. - BevansDesign, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2God dammit, now that Denver theme song is stuck in my head. I hate you forever, Halsfield. :)
- acex23, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1Raphael is the best.
- GlitchEnzo, on 07/17/2008, -1/+2Being a HUGE fan of turtles when I was a kid, I was a little apprehensive when they announced the new cartoon series back in 2003. But after actually sitting down and watching it, I must say that it is infinitely better. It follows the original comic quite closely. It has a darker theme but still has the humor. I would highly recommend them to any TMNT fan.
With that out of the way, let me say this: WOO-HOO! New live-action Turtles! -
