- DeusNova, on 08/15/2008, -29/+105Bury me all you want but 9/11 conspiracies are ***** stupid.
I do believe that Bush EXPLOITED 9/11 to his advantage. - Nightwish224, on 08/15/2008, -4/+31If this is so much of a conspiracy that the world should know, then why do we have to purchase it?
- icantdenythis, on 08/15/2008, -4/+22all sorts of crazy ***** is front paging tonight. . .
- Shirleycakes, on 08/15/2008, -11/+28Ahh, Newsmax. "The leading independent online news site with a conservative perspective."
Buried as inaccurate. - 8randon, on 08/15/2008, -2/+12i agree, but this doesn't really seem like a conspiracy film..
- shig, on 08/15/2008, -0/+9No, it doesn't. But you should want to know who attacked your country first...
- inactive, on 08/15/2008, -13/+20Those "movies" explain nothing except that the Cult of 9/11 is full of *****.
- brad016, on 08/15/2008, -2/+9is there a bittorrent of this movie?
(just wanted to know so I could tell on them - right guys?) - ZenMojo, on 08/15/2008, -4/+11...Newsmax? Really?
And Jimmy Carter pushed aside our ally the Shah? The whole point of the taking of the embassy was that we wouldn't give the Shah up to be tried for war crimes by Iran. - TheMachine1, on 08/15/2008, -2/+9"Bush’s biggest blunder, post 9/11, was not attacking Afghanistan or even Iraq, it was unwittingly falling into al-Qaida’s carefully planned trap by pushing for free elections throughout the Islamic world."
***** attacking Iraq was among the dumbest operations in world history. - thedinomeister, on 08/15/2008, -6/+12Breaking News: Real reason behind 9-11 attacks won't solve anything; won't fix the world trade center or pentagon; won't bring back 3,000 people; and of course WILL NOT RUN CRYSIS!
- WTF69, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5^^^
i read your mind - inactive, on 08/15/2008, -2/+7It's pretty obvious that 99% of the people posting on this thread didn't RTFA.
- otbeverly, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5Wow, the first step to defeating your enemy is to know him?
I'll bet Sun Tzu is rolling over in his grave right now thinking, "Why didn't I think of that?" - Scully1981, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5And why they did it. Otherwise you'll just end up with everyone kicking each other in the balls for the other guy kicking them in the balls for someone kicking them in the balls for a kick in the balls that happened before that.
- card51short, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5"That is what amazes me about these 9/11 truthers. They believe that the government was willing and able to pull off such an evil plan, but cant kill some guy who posted a video on the internet and make it look like an accident"
Good point. Because people that question 9/11 aren't all dead corpses this has to be wrong.
Excellent point! lol - CharlesP2009, on 08/15/2008, -2/+6Wow I feel sorry for anyone foolish enough to buy this DVD, let alone believe a word of it.
- LoudMusic, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4*this* will never end? Hell, they're still conspiracy theorizing about ***** that happened THOUSANDS of years ago.
- LeviTheSmith, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4Look above one post please.
- WTF69, on 08/15/2008, -4/+8Its in my netflix queue but i doubt ill get it any time soon now that it hit the front page of digg

- Zorakoid, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4Give me a break. This film is from a man best known as a Bob Dylan documentarian and impersonator (Yup, he fronts a BD tribute band). Just the person I'd turn to for insightful middle eastern analysis.
- DMDekoth, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4But will it blend?
- EtherGnat, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3Did you even read the article? He says a couple of times that we had no choice but to attack.
- somesthetic, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3sounds fascinating.
actually trying to understand the motivations for the september 11th attacks? why didn't I think of that. - linuxpenguin, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3"It’s creator, Joel Gilbert, a graduate of the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies and the London School of Economics and Political Science, describes his landmark work accurately as “an historic journey, from the birth of Islam, through its 1,200 year reign over the civilized world, to the last 300 years of Islamic decline, overtaken and dominated by the West — then humiliated by a Jewish state.”"
Wow, sounds like a true professional - all those prestigious schools. . . wish I could join him on such an historic journey - its not everyday you get to go on an historic journey.
In all seriousness though, is it just me or does this guy sound just a little anti-Semitic? Maybe he would've preferred if they got humiliated by a German state. . . - LR2_, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3Agreed.
http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=91 ... - card51short, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3nooooo y-y-YER stupid, poopy head!
- MrTito, on 08/15/2008, -3/+6Thank you. I was listening to Lewis Black earlier tonight, the bit where he points out "Just because you're against something, doesn't mean you're for the other side."
9/11 conspiracies piss me off because it's a cheap movement that is a detriment to a very serious moment in our history. Yes, like you said, I think Bush exploited it also. I actually would go as far as using PNAC and all his daddy's buddies in his cabinet as a support for that. But, BUT, this whole demolition theory, remote planes, missiles, Bildergber Group, NWO and all the other ***** Alex Jones pimps is ***** pathetic and sad. This ain't the X-Files or 24 for ***** sake. - jsd8cc, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3Actually, if you scroll down and read the interview, he says quite the opposite.
It's a decent read with a rare perspective of someone that has actually been to and understands the region. - card51short, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3you're right...they are charging for it...that automatically means it's wrong.
It also makes everything CNN, Fox, MSNBC and pretty much every news source that ever existed wrong.
Great opint. - inactive, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3You find comics easier to understand than newspaper articles? It all makes sense now.
- MrTito, on 08/15/2008, -1/+4Wow. That was like magic.
brad016 and WTF69... You know you guys are internet soulmates now, right? - insinuate, on 08/15/2008, -2/+5Lewis Black is the man, he explains it perfectly by saying some people kind of look at him funny when they find out he performed for the troops when he's against the iraq war...just because he's against the iraq war he's not against the troops, its not their fault they are over there, and he performed with the USO to entertain them. I have such admiration and respect for him.
- Spikito, on 08/15/2008, -3/+6this will never end
- card51short, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3you're right guys...questioning the past is just a waste of time.
In fact, why ever investigate anything? It happened in the past!
THE FREAKING PAST PEOPLE!!!! - D1ckFace, on 08/15/2008, -1/+3watch 'loose change' for the easy questions that need answering - you may suspect the horrible truth if you're smart enough.
- card51short, on 08/15/2008, -0/+2you're right...we should forget the thing that our entire foreign and domestic policy is now based on.
I MEAN IT WAS FREAKING 7 YEARS AGO1!!111!!! OMGZORS!!!
How about this : YOU focus on what you think is important (probably CHANGE and HOPE) and let us focus on what we think is important (biggest crime on American soil ever). ;) - card51short, on 08/15/2008, -0/+2who exactly attacked "your country" and what evidence led you to believe that?
- 2049Design, on 08/15/2008, -0/+2zeitgeistmovie.com
free:) - eeemart, on 08/15/2008, -2/+4you know what was an awesome movie that never has even sniffed the digg front page? the warriors. c'mon, what's the deal?
- D1ckFace, on 08/15/2008, -1/+39/11 Can't be forgotten until all the wrongs that have been implemented have been revertrd and put right. War in Iraq, afghanistan, Patriot Act, illegal spying, complete mistrust of the US by the whole of the free thinking world.... the list goes on.. Including answering questions about dubious government activity surrounding 9/11 that they refuse to answer. If they have nothing to hide then they should answer the questions then we can start to "move on" as you suggest.
- Epistaxis, on 08/15/2008, -0/+2It seems like this whole "Newsmax" website is a big, poorly written advertisement. Buried for spam.
- inactive, on 08/15/2008, -1/+3roll eyes. Buried.
- jakeshdaddy, on 08/15/2008, -1/+3Naturally it is ALL the fault of the Muslims, and only the Muslims! Do you guys really think a conservative cesspool like Newsmax would be the place to gain an objective view of the reasons behind 9/11?
- D1ckFace, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2Ok it's the past but it's grossly affecting your present, your future and your childrens future.
Only the truth can set you free.... - alice104, on 09/12/2008, -0/+2It's really quite sad when your simplistic argument... that 9/11 conspiracies are "***** stupid"... is the one that most people want to support.
Understanding 9/11 is far more complex than that, and simply pointing out some of the most extreme conspiracy theories (i.e. "no planes") as a justification for accepting the official fairy tale, which itself is laughably implausible, does not make for a very powerful or convincing argument.
We've long been led to believe that in the United States, our leaders are never purely evil, they're simply self-serving and/or incompetent. Other countries are capable of evil and deception, but every time something bad happens in the U.S., we're absolutely certain it's all due to incompetence.
They might kill a million Iraqi civilians in a war we all know was launched under false pretenses, but they'd never kill 3,000 Americans. Never. - EtherGnat, on 08/15/2008, -3/+5Did you even read the article? I just got through criticizing people for making ad hominem attacks against Huffington Post articles, I guess I've got to do the same to you too.
I was immediately skeptical when I saw the source, and was prepared to come in to the discussion with guns blazing how the article was full of *****. Then I read the article.
It's actually a pretty reasonable, interesting read. It criticizes Bush on a number of counts and provides an interesting take on the Islamic mindset. I don't agree with all the conclusions, but I'm still glad I read it. Don't be so damn lazy--If you have a problem with the story let's hear what it is. - card51short, on 08/15/2008, -1/+3paranoia = questioning the biggest attack ever
normal = OMGORZ THE CLIMATE IS CHANGING THAT'S NEVA EVA HAPPENED!!!11!!! OMGZORS GUYS WITH AK-47S IN THE DESERT WITH NO ARMY OR NAVY WANT TO KILL US, THE STRONGEST POWER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!1111!! - D1ckFace, on 08/15/2008, -1/+3I appreciate the perspective but It's taken out of context. Hmm let me see - look at evidence and facts to get the truth? Or an article in Newsmax? False flag attacks are not 'conspiracy theories' invented for 9/11 you know.. the US has been attacking it's own people to further it's agenda for some time now: here are some acknowledged ones: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_flag#Examples_o ...
The film assumes and implies categorically that Islamics did the WTC in which has not, to date, been proven beyond reasonable doubt. Bin Laden is the most famous wanted man in the world but interestingly he is not specifically wanted for 9/11: http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.h ...
So who the ***** did it? -
