- JoeNaguib, on 11/10/2009, -7/+56Tim Burton's twisted head is, I feel, the only one really capable of doing the original story any remote justice. Granted it won't be as great as the book but it's about as close to fantastic as a book-to-movie adaptation will get.
- FormerBabby, on 11/10/2009, -1/+29That is most certainly not an LOLCAT
- nbcaffeine, on 11/10/2009, -0/+24ru-fi-o

- chattin, on 11/10/2009, -0/+19Drugs = Neat!
- wild, on 11/10/2009, -0/+16Why is Centran getting dugg down? It is a sequel:
[The film is actually a sequel to the original story, and follows Alice, now 17 years old, as she escapes from a snooty party and follows a white rabbit down a hole, back to Wonderland. The White Rabbit is convinced that he has the right girl, the one who had visited the magical land ten years prior. But Alice doesn’t remember her past visit to Wonderland. The creatures of Wonderland are ready to revolt and are hoping/waiting for Alice to help them, but will she? Can she?]

In other words, think of this in similar premise to Hook, starring Robin WIlliams. - centran, on 11/10/2009, -3/+18It is a sequel to the Alice in Wonderland story.
- ducttape36, on 11/10/2009, -5/+19im pretty bored with tim burton. all his movies are pretty much the same. vaguely gothic and hot topic merch friendly for the kids to eat up.
preparing for bury. - MFVChris, on 11/10/2009, -1/+12Ceiling kitty?
- knobbysideup, on 11/10/2009, -2/+10The white queen is all wrong. And the hatter was a minor character. This movie needs more pepper!
- UberGeek404, on 11/10/2009, -2/+10Alice is too old. (at least to be true to the book)
- DraculaConte, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7some seriously twisted minds at work
- OLTP, on 11/10/2009, -1/+8Yeah I remember a musical porn that started basically the same way.
- black27696, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7Yeah, that's not creepy as ***** hell or anything.
- RealmDown, on 11/10/2009, -0/+6"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said,

We can begin to feed." - EdLewis, on 11/10/2009, -1/+6Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was frustratingly dull, and far less creepy than the original movie. I'm not holding my breath about this being any more entertaining (or indeed unsettling) than the Disney version.
- Kidddrunkadelic, on 11/10/2009, -0/+5That Joker grin on kitty is creepy.
- DecoyQ, on 11/10/2009, -0/+5I think Johnny Depp is so versatile that's why. He's actually quite a great actor.
- macmcraeart, on 11/10/2009, -3/+7i haven't seen a movie poster that photoshoped since 1997
- trashymac, on 11/10/2009, -3/+7I'm not sure about this movie.
- Alli3388, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Obviously, you have never done acid.
- kalvinb, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Considering this includes the Jabberwock it looks like Tim Burton is going all out in this adaptation. Most versions include characters from both stories but avoid getting too dark. The only other version I know of that includes the Jabberwock is the 1985 made for TV version.
Even if he strays from the original story there's little chance he's not going to make this a great movie. - RealmDown, on 11/10/2009, -1/+4Spidercat
- Alli3388, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Now drop some names!
- urbanetruth, on 11/10/2009, -4/+7Regrettably, Tim Burton stopped making good movies a long time ago. I agree the concept of Tim Burton + Depp + Carroll is cool, but sadly this is gonna be a dud of a film, despite all the awesome concept art.
- solecize, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Is watching you, Alice, Tweedle Dee/Dum and Red Queen masturbate.
- Brodie321, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3That's actually the white queen played by Anne Hathaway. Notice the white roses at her feet.
- orangefly, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3prove it....get me elfmans cell number....i want him to compose me a custome ringtone....
- dnields, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3In other words, yet another example of Hollywood's inability to come up with something original
- Tyrghast, on 11/10/2009, -8/+11Tim Burton and the boorish crew of his last five movies take you on an hum-drum ride through CGI-ville.
Seriously, all of you sucking Tim Burton's nuts need to take a step back and see what a pile of ***** this movie will be. - pocketjacks, on 11/10/2009, -1/+3It looks like Alice jacked Cinderella for her dress...
- Tyrghast, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Do you even know what that means? I highly doubt it, if you're using it to describe Tim Burton's works
- detcade, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2It's not a wide enough grin. The cat looks too happy, not sinister enough,
- turquoisefish, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Brodie321 is right, Alice isn't even in that poster!
- abeg, on 11/10/2009, -1/+3For those who keep on saying Alice is too old this is a sequel... From IMDB
Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember. - apetrie, on 11/10/2009, -2/+4Some of Tim Burtons stuff is brilliant, some is too into itself. Unless you've seen it, you don't know which this will be.
Seriously, all of you who think you actually know what this movie will be like before you see it should take a step back and recognize you are talking out of your ass. - zip000, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2It depends on how you say it.
Some people say, "el-oh-el cat" ...which would make the "an" appropriate.
I don't say it that way, but some people do. - digitalArtform, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Uncle Fester and Uncle Fester?
- diggbigwig, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Must be in dog years.
- apetrie, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2That'd be the White Queen, and not Alice. Shes not in the poster.. it does look a real life Cinderella dress though.
- tmonsta1, on 11/10/2009, -1/+3Hasn't Tim Burton actually been making and remaking Alice in Wonderland for like 25 years....
- ryancawdor, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Nice to see that Helena Bohnam Carter is really stretching her acting chops after portraying Belatrix in a few Harry Potter movies. You know, with the costume change and all.
- kernel16, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Meh, ugly.
- MWeather, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1I hated that movie.
- JackHorner, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Well I would expect that as with other 3d glasses films Alice will be playing in standard theaters as well. You should be ok. :)
- BC200, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Red Queen's expression looks like it belongs in a reaction thread.
- DukeOnkled, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1I would be fine with Burton directing if he says and acts like the movie is his own re-imagining of the book. Instead people say he's the best choice to do the book justice. *****. I never said he wasn't imaginative, but Sweeny Todd and the first two batman movies sucked. Also, why choose the same mainstream crap directors like Burton and Spielberg? Tim is not the only creative director out there. Spike Jonse could do better than Tim Burton, but honestly he's a bad choice, too.
Also, First you say the movie is NEVER going to be as good as the book, but turn around and say Stanley Kubrick has done and Tim will do the book justice. *****. there have been directors other than Kubrick out there that make movie adaptations that are as great or greater than the book (Blade Runner anyone?) - detcade, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Still waiting for pedobear
- MatlasK, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Gilliam?
