New 4 Disc Godfather Blu-Ray Set: An Offer You Can't Refuse

Paramount announced today that it is bringing Francis Ford Coppola’s epic Godfather trilogy to both standard DVD and for the first time, to Blu-ray on September 23, 2008.

After Coppola's appalling filmic output of the last 20 years (Jack, Youth Without Youth, etc.) and how he managed to turn the greatest war movie maybe ever into a boring debate on the merits of communism with his last Redux, The Coppola Restoration of The Godfather has me seriously considering refusing the offer.
